Dawn gave an almost preening smile as the recognition crossed the girl's face. It was something that couldn't be helped, Dawn was always willing to admit she was vain at times and she loved the fame, loved being known - be it for her strange outfits, her even stranger 'Schtick' as a vampire or her music. All of them gave her pride and at times inflated her ego to strange proportions. Because of this, it took a moment for her to remember that the girl she spoke to couldn't see nods and smiles, couldn't see silent answers to her questions. "Yup, that's me. And as for having my voice, sometimes it's best to have your own. You never know, you might have the voice of a thousand angels." Dawn knew it might be a foolish thing to say, after all, she had just met the girl, she didn't know if she had ever tried talking. Though talking and singing were often two totally different monsters.

The girl finally offered up her name or at least a couple workable nicknames besides pet names that she tend to give everyone she met, including her fans. "It's a pleasure to meet you Zu, and you as well Perro." She said as she offered her hand to the dog once more but didn't touch him, it was an offer to let him but it would be up to him if he accepted it. Dawn knew that some dogs might seem or look friendly, but the moment you went to touch them they would snap. "So, have you been in the city long? Are you off to somewhere important or just out exploring?" Dawn asked, letting her curious nature come out to play.

Xuhixe can feel and hear the pride and content in Dawn's words after she recognized the famous youth. The singer's perceived intent to encourage confidence in the sightless woman's melodic capacity is received with an awkward warmth. With a shrug of her shoulders, a bashful smirk crosses Zu's lips. "I just might." 'If I were able to speak,' the petite adds in comment mentally to herself. Her expression does not show this briefly mellowing thought. It is nice to be able to communicate with people outside of her head but signing is her main device, and the main personal trouble is that not everyone can understand sign language.

"It is a pleasure to meet you too, Dawn." Mirth widens her smirk with her repetition. Xuhixe is certain something along those lines were formed by her gestures a few moments prior, but that minor concern is tossed. "You could say we are on an adventure. It will take some time, but we are adjusting to all the New. I am surprised at how big Harper Rock is." Even though it is Xuhixe that pushes herself to venture into the unknown and make it known, Perro is just as dependent on this knowledge as she is, if not more, given his task. For now, much like his ward, the large hound stays in place patiently until the conversation has ended, always within an arms reach of his vertically challenged companion.

As the stranger offers her hand to him, Perro holds his intrigued gaze over Dawn then peers down at her fingers. For a beat or two the Seeing-Eye appears to consider his options, but in the end he presses his muzzle toward the pale palm and cautiously sniffs it before leaning back to continue surveillance.

Dawn watched the dog for a moment as he gave her hand a sniff before she turned her attention back to the girl. She smiled, though it was clear that the girl wouldn't see it, perhaps though the girl could hear it in her voice. People have often said they could hear when someone was smiling. She wondered if that was true. As she thought of that, she responded to the girl "I can understand that, this town is filled with a lot of new things. Even for myself and I have been living here for a while. Of course, being on tour for as long as I was, things were bound to change." She rambled for a moment before she added on "Did you want some company with your adventure or were you looking for just enjoying some time with Perro here?"

If the girl just wanted to walk around the city herself, Dawn clearly wouldn't mind that fact. She did have to get her stuff back to her apartment, but at the same time, having been away from the city for as long as she had been, she would have enjoyed to keep the conversation going while not wanting to keep the girl from her discoveries of the new city that she was living in now.
