He says that he fights and I wonder if Pat looks for fights, or people pick on him or if he means the kind that I'm familiar with. The kind that ends up with mooncalves and other nasty creatures ending up dead on the ground at my feet. I'll talk to Skylar about it later. For now, I move on and past the topic. Fighting, depending on what it is, is helpful or just a waste of time. I don't like getting into pissing matches with people, so I avoid the high school, school yard ********.

Skylar's being the buffer, or middle man-make that woman or something by making suggestions. I stare at her and then nod my head. Once she's more or less suggested this become a game of winning, I'm sold on the idea. But, I'm practical on it too.

"Best of five." Short and to the point is good for me. Why draw out a game that someone, or both of us might not like longer than we need to? Waste of time. "I'll put up a hundred." With that I pull out my worn, leather wallet and slap two 50's on my side. My side being where I walked to and claimed as I talked just now. "What do you say?" I look at Patrick, seeing if he agrees to the terms, will reject them or counter.
