Kill them.

It was the first thought that filtered into her mind. It was the only one that made sense to her, as well. He hadn't planned to show her mercy, why should she be as kind? Her mind raced to piece together everything that had happened, to try and find some sort of structure in the sudden chaos. When she came up empty, she shook her head and scratched her nails lightly against her cheek. He deserved death. He deserved worse than death. He deserved to be ripped apart, to have his insides strewn across the city as a warning to all other females, he deserved -- "Yes," she heard herself whisper, and then instantly shook her head. What was she saying? What she she doing? The rage had taken her by surprise, feeding into her hunger, her desperation. She couldn't allow that to happen. She had to be strong, it was all that she knew. "I mean no, I don't. Just... no." She couldn't - wouldn't - ask that of the woman. Despite the way the words had begun to form a picture in her mind, a violent, bloody picture - she refused to allow her friend to help her. She had known from the moment they had met that she valued human life, and when she had learned of her secrets, that hadn't changed. Becoming a vampire hadn't entirely wiped out the tender heart the other held.

Neither would she.

Shaking her head again, she stepped back from her and shoved her hands through her hair, the blonde curls falling messily around her shoulders. When the other turned from her to head for the fountain, she dropped her gaze to the floor and sighed quietly. "I'm hungry. I'm starving, and it's not going to be enough. The bloodpacks, they're just not cutting it for me." She hadn't meant to sound ungrateful, but she hadn't wanted to lie to her, either. She knew more about this **** than she did, so who was she to try and pick and choose what to reveal? After a moment of silence, she moved to stand at her side and mimicked her actions, fingers twisting through the water.

"Thanks, Mora. For... you know, saving me. You didn't have to."

She had said no, and Mora respected that. She wasn't a violent person so just asking someone if they wanted revenge was unusual for Mora, but she respected it non the less. She knew revenge was something that people wanted, it was what fuelled survival. If her newborn fledgling wanted revenge then she would hand it to her on a silver plate. Mora did anything her childer asked her to do. She wanted to keep them happy, and if this was how they were kept happy then so be it. Yet her eyes focused on Rain as she came to sit beside her on fountains edge, mirroring her actions as she dragged her fingertips under the water. A cooling sensation, she had to be sure.

"I didn't have to, but I wanted to." She said with a light shrug of her shoulders. Rain had always been dear to Mora since she had given her a job at Peppermint, she had looked out for the ex sorcerer, and would continue to look out for her now. How could she not. There had been something about the blonde that had drawn Mora to her, had made her want to look after her, bring her under her wing. "You've always been part of this family, to me. Now you are officially. This Crypt, is essentially your home now. If you wanted it to be." It was hard to process she was sure.

"If those blood bags are not cutting it, then perhaps you should be feeding from a live host. Would you like to feed on fresh blood instead?" She got up then, and extended her hand for Rain to take. If she wanted fresh blood, she would teleport them out of the Crypt and onto the streets, where she would find a willing human to become food for her childe.

Rain didn't speak for a long time. Instead, she focused on the water as it coursed over her fingers. She had always enjoyed the sensation - it seemed to soothe her when nothing else could. Whenever she felt as if the world was against her, she would draw herself a cool bath and just soak in it. Now, however, she clutched her fist beneath the spray and yanked her hand back to shove it into her pocket. "That's nice. Thanks, " she said quietly as she allowed her gaze to drift over the spacious room. It was a nice offer - but she knew where she would prefer to be. Her studio was her heart and soul, and she hadn't felt as comfortable anywhere else as she had there. It wasn't that the Crypt was a bad place - it just didn't have the same air of solidarity as her studio did. Though, she didn't want to upset the woman in front of her, so she just smiled.

The smile faded quickly, however, when she turned to study her. The mention of live prey caused her stomach to rumble, and she placed her hand against it as if that would keep the beast inside. "I... I don't know. Will I have to kill someone?" The second she uttered the question, she realized it didn't matter. She would do whatever she had to do to satisfy the creature that was inside of her. Shaking her head quickly, the dancer stepped back and gave a slow smile. Everything was different - the world around her, the colors, the textures - it was all so much more. Not wanting to alarm her newly found sire, the blonde tipped her head and tried for that casual, charming smirk. "Can they be cute?"

Silence hung in the air like a smoke around a fire. Mora respected her silence and kept herself still. Finally the silence was broken by Rain’s words of thanks. Moss orbs looked the woman over and she nodded her head slowly. Accepting the woman’s gratitude. Though the woman didn't need to show her thanks, she had a lot on her plate - she had to adjust to being a vampire now and that in itself was a difficult feat. Mora looked this woman over seeing if she was ready to potentially leave the Crypt and explore the world with her new, and more keener senses.

“No.” The answer was instant. “You never have to kill your host.” She shook her head and ran her own fingertips between her strands of golden hair and let it sit there for a little while whilst she thought about things. “You drink enough, and when you remove your fangs. They become dazed and confused. They will not remember your face and you leave them somewhere safe. A park bench would suffice and let them come too, they won’t remember a thing.” She smiled. “Though there have been instances where the need for blood has become too great and I killed a couple of humans, I was new to this life though when it happened no one to guide me until Elizabeth saved me essentially from my thirst.” She paused to look at this woman’s horror struck face and laughed.

“Don’t worry. I’m here to help. You won’t take a human’s life.” Could they cute? Why not. “Sure.”
