Rina watched him turn in a circle as she surrounded him. She wasn't sure if his response was normal or not but she had to try not to laugh at him as he spun in a circle. As he moved back toward the wall, all of her images just turned and watched him. He was skilled but he was getting more and more worn out by the moment. Stepping in front of the images once his sword touched the ground, she smirked. Even while all his energy was drained, he still attempted to joke.

"Well...it was either that or call you on your bluff with the light. You clearly knew what I am and I know you aren't leaving alive so why not have a little bit of fun."

Giving a slight nod of her head as he continued to speak, she let the copied illusions fade away as requested. Rina's eyes looked him up and down. She took in every aspect of him, including his cockiness and determination. He was going to be fun to keep around so her mind was made up...he would die but she would also let him live, so to speak. Stepping toward him, she reached out and let her finger trace down his chest, feeling his labored breathing under her touch. With a smirk upon her face, she looked him in the eyes.

"You aren't leaving alive and you know this. However the choice is yours...quick or slow?"

When the images left he turned to face her, he knew her words were true. He was tired, beaten, and battered. He was left only with the sword in his hands, however it wasn't in him to go down with out a fight. His mind was more then willing to throw down with her, but his body wasn't cooperating, taking in the situation he realized that he would only get one good shot at an attack. He watching her closely he watched as she walked closer. Looking into her eyes he smirks, feeling the touch of her finger through his shirt, not flinching or backing away at all now. Lady quick is the only way this will end So saying he swings the sword up hoping the element of surprise will work in his favor, he can tell instantly that it doesn't as once again his sword swings through the air.

He was so cute, like a little kitten playing with a ball of yarn, as he tried to act all tough. It always entertained her how humans always wanted to go down fighting even when there wasn't an ounce of fight left in their bodies. As his words rang through her ears and his sword began to move, she was easily able to dodge his attack. A haunting cackle pressed passed her lips from his attempt. "Alright, quick it is..."

A playful wink was given to him as her fangs instantly extended. Her movements were quick and almost a blur as she stepped in closer and her head snapped down to his neck. It wasn't long before his rich nectar was flowing into her mouth, feeding the hunger that made her body ache. Wrapping her arms tightly around him, she pulled him to her until there was virtually nothing more within him. Bringing her wrist to her mouth, she bite a chunk out and pressed it to his lips. Carefully she let her mind touch to his as she spoke softly with a chuckle. "You chose quick, however, I chose slow. You will die but you will also get to see what's so great about this life. Drink and you shall live a new life. A life of power and strength."

His body jerked when he felt her fangs pierce his neck, however try as he might there was no physical fight left in him. As she drank from him his mind fought to find a way to escape till he had lost so much blood that even those thoughts were beyond him
"You chose quick, however, I chose slow. You will die but you will also get to see what's so great about this life. Drink and you shall live a new life. A life of power and strength."
Those words drifted through the darkness, most he didnt comprehend, but the word life, feeling something against his lips he heard the word drink. Doing as he was instructed he drank deeply swallowing as quickly as he could to get more. the more he drank the more his will to fight returned, not seeing this as a bad thing he continued drinking feeling pleasure start to course through his body, along with the pleasure came his strength. His body continued to shake and convulse then finally settled.

Releasing her wrist he opens his eyes, once pure silver now rimmed in the red of freshly spilled blood, he looks into her eyes.

He actually responded and began to drink from her offered wrist that was pressed to his lips, she only stood there and smirked as she cloaked them in shadows in case anyone came into the abandoned supermarket. There was no way in hell that she was going to allow them to be disrupted until after the change had taken place, by then it would be too late. Rina pulled her wrist back when she felt that he had enough but to be honest, she didn't have a clue, she was entirely guessing on how much he would need to change. Taking a step back but still close enough that the shadows remained around him as well to keep him hidden, she watched.

The change didn't take long to set in and that was a total surprise to her. She wasn't sure how the turning would work as she didn't remember her own nor which Hollywood idealist would be right. Why she thought to compare it to Hollywood's ideas, she had no clue though maybe it was to give her some sort of guidance and idea. Rina wanted to pace as she watched but she was a patient woman and stood in place. Her eyes roamed over him and as she could see the strength returning, she began to feel excitement. It wasn't long before he tilted his head up and looked her in the eyes. The change was complete or so she assumed and he didn't die from the experience. Not being able to contain herself any longer, she laughed out loud as she clapped and shouted.

"OH MY GOD!! IT WORKED!!"

Not wanting to tilt his head back to look at someone and it wasn't in him to stay down anyway he puts his hands on the floor to push back a bit. Finding himself sliding across the floor then his back hit the wall hard enough to leave a dent cracking the sheet rock around his shoulders. Moving slowly so as not to repeat the experience he slowly uses the wall to get onto his feet. Seeing the sword now laying on the floor along with a good deal of blood, he had a bad feeling he knew what happened to him. The slide across the floor confirmed it. He had just started to try to figure a way to get his sword back when her words startled him
"OH MY GOD!! IT WORKED!!"
Shaking his head in disbelief What do you mean it worked? You mean to tell me that you did this with out any idea of whether or not it would work? Like some type of science experiment? his voice getting lower with ever question he asked, then closing his eyes he takes a deep breath that seems to settle him. Open his eyes again Obviously you didn't have this planned so I am almost afraid to ask what happens next?

As he tried to get up, she perked her brow. He probably needed a bit longer to rest before he tried anything or so she assumed but as he went sliding across the floor only to crash into the wall, she burst out in a fit of laughter. This was going to be entertaining to watch. Taking a step forward and letting the shadows drop as she wasn't worried about people interrupting them any longer, she smirked.

"Whoa, watch out there Hercules before you knock down the whole building on top of us and we have to somehow explain the mess to those military assholes outside."

He soon started to move slower which was to his complete benefit. Rina just waited to let him get acquainted with the new power and strength, as minimal as it was. Tilting her head as he eyed the sword. Walking over to it and giving a soft chuckle, she carefully kicked it over to him. As his words came out with what she assumed was a panic emotion, she just nodded her head. "Yep...you're the first I have ever turned. Also with any turning there is the possibility that it just doesn't work. You happened to be a success. Congrats!"

Shaking her head as he continued. "Nope, it wasn't planned until you proved your potential and determination. That's when I decided to keep you. I already have a human thrall so I can't really replace her with you so turning you was the other option...well or death but you can consider this being death with...erm...a twist. What happens next is that you leave your old life completely. You learn and commit to this life while upholding the masquerade for the safety of our kind which is why you will learn that your only option tonight with how much you knew was death."

leaning down and picking up the sword he starts to slide it into the sheath on his back only to find out that the sheath is damage from his impact with the wall. With a sigh he turns the sword so that it is resting against his arm, his hand on the handle in what seemed almost a careless grip.

So let me test my understanding of this, because of my talent and determination and the fact that I never back down even when I am severely outmatched is why you chose to change me. And now I am to uphold this Masquerade? Which if I am understanding correctly what that is, then it is the reason that I had to die. Then to just add to all the fun and prizes of the moment I apparently now am stronger then i was and I am betting faster. Both of which will increase with time. tilting his head to the side so have I got it right so far? seeing his gun on the floor he slowly moves to pick up the 9mm he had dropped putting it back in it's holster on his thigh slowly moves back to the wall leaning against it with one foot resting on it, the picture of a relaxed person. Bringing his eyes back to hers he tilts his head again in question as he waits

As he picked up the sword, she turned and walked just a smidge back to hop up onto the counter to sit. Crossing her leg over the other as she watched him, verbally work out all of the details in question form. Nodding her head as he continued as he seemed to have a clear understanding. It was when he asked her if he had it right so far that she finally responded. "Yep, you're pretty spot on. You will also gain powers that will help you in any battle that you will come across. As you are also well educated in what we are from your human...assignments...you will know that you have enemies so these strengths will play a major role in your survival as well as to others of your kind."

As he moved to pick up his gun, she smiled as she took note that it would need to be replaced which was something that she would work on as there was family that crafted weapons that were far superior than from what could be purchased at a store. He seemed 'cool as a cucumber' to her and she could only chalk that up to his knowledge going into the fight in the QZ. He clearly was prepared for surprises but she was sure this one he wasn't prepared for even though he was accepting it pretty well.

"The Masquerade is what we all live by. It's in place to protect us from those outside of the community. Humans have never taken to well to the idea of there being a being that is higher on the food chain than them. They crave power and when they know that there is something out there that can take that away from them, well...they panic. Many years ago....long before I was even created, there was a Holocaust of the vampire race all across the world. There were a group of elders that fled here to Harper Rock because there was a weakness here between the realms of the living and dead. I hope in time you won't have to learn about that but lets just say...as long as you are in Harper Rock when you die as a vampire, there is always away of returning. I have yet to die since my turning but my number just hasn't come up yet. The longer I survive, the closer my number rolls in but that is my thoughts on it because I have helped kill members of the vampire community just to ensure our safety. The Masquerade is highly important and I help take care of those that work against it because they think that humans and vampires can co-exist. That will never ever happen but people fail to see this." She took the time to stop, letting him process all that she has explained to him so far and ask any questions that might come.

Looking around the room he pushes a way from the wall, taking slow steps stumbling the first few. He keeps trying every time he slips up he stops moves back to the wall and starts again the whole while keeping up his end of the conversation
well you might not believe this... however I am very good at what I do, so what your telling me is that this is going to make me even better at what I do. However understand this... I refuse to to kill humans. I have already proved i am more then willing to kill vampire.
stopping what he is doing for a moment he lets his eyes run from her feet to the top of her head taking in every part of her looking for a weakness.
I suppose it would be pointless at the moment for me to even attack you. you would still be faster and stronger then I am.
with that he goes back to walking back and forth across the floor until his movements are once again the fluid movements that mark him to be a killer, continuing his thoughts
Well I am also guessing that your not just going to leave me to figure all this stuff out on my own either. I am going to have to find more ammo
taking out his gun he manages to slip the clip from it check it and slide it home with out dropping the sword this sword should be just fine for now, though I will probably have to get a new one of those as well.
looking back up at Rina he stops his pacing moves back to the wall and leans against it again looking as if he hadn't a care in the world
that's about right?
