Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
From the seeming sigh as she stepped from her present, Mordechai assumed she had decided to train on the smaller dirt bike, and fired off a text to the shop for someone to fuel and prepare it. An eyebrow raised as she mentioned her latex mini, as it was she who had chosen it, but he chose to just answer. "It is leather and kevlar, as we discussed." Flipping open one side of his ever present duster he pointed to the lining. "The pants and coat are lined with this, ballistic kevlar. There should also be boots, as it is described as a complete set" He reached for a paper on the desk and had started to peruse it when she held up the enclosed top. One eye raised to take it in, then lowered to his reading silently. It seemed, according to the missive he held that monthly competitions were held for new shots.. of liquor. Shrugging he flipped it to the desk as she once more stepped behind her armoire door. In typical Pru manner she had asked a question, then proceeded to act without waiting for an answer.
By the time he had began to speak, she had already covered her pasty white buttocks with the leather and was tying the strings to the top. "I would suggest the T shirt over that, if you wish to appear human. I have seen few human females with that level of exposure at these temperatures." He shuffled the papers on the desk, but it seemed everything had to do with the running of the Saloon. There were no weapons brochures anywhere. His eyes closed as he blanked his mind, assuming the position of bored males everywhere as they waited for women. The chattering almost made him think she was nervous about something, but he could think of no reason for this. His phone vibrated with a light 'bizzzzz' as it signaled and incoming text. As all of his equipment was meticulously maintained, the RM125 was already ready to go. The killer fired off another text to have the bike delivered to the clearing south of the White lair, as he stood and straightened his duster. A puzzled look crossed his countenance momentarily as he considered her comment tossed over the armoire's door. "Sizes are standardized, are they not? A given set of measurements, will always fit the same size, depending on the quality control of the manufacturing establishment. Just as the the bolts of any Remington 700 in the same caliber, and model run, should theoretically interchange, so to should equivalent sized breasts fit the same size bra, and equivalent sized feet the same sized shoe." He shook his head, women always made such a deal of clothes shopping, when in reality it was all simple math.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
Prudence rolled her eyes at what Mordie had to say about humans and what they wore right now. She knew, she was just giving him a hard time about. They slight attitude; that which could be compared to a teenager around her dad that was trying to get her to try and wear something he thought was cool (not that she didn't think the outfit had certain value or benefits to it, or didn't like it), was dropped when he started rambling on about guns and mathematical statistics. She snorted, than laughed before putting an arm on his shoulder and giving it a pat. "Uhhh, sure. Sounds about right I guess." She stuck her tongue out at the older male before hip checking him with her left hip. Or trying to. Her hip more or less came at his outer thigh than his actual hip given his taller height over her.
"So, now that I'm dressed appropriately, dad," Prudence cackled after pulling her red hair out from under the coat and letting it fall on her back, "We gonna go for a ride? Or we gonna move on to your knowledge about make-up next?" The dad comment was said with slight, playful sarcasm, but in truth a lot of the time Prudence saw Mordie as a father figure. Not because he was a few years older than her (few being generous), but because of his worldly experience because of his age. But it was never said because of his age. She did love Mordie and though she would never call him dad outside of jest, she probably loved him like a dad.
"No. But seriously. Can I pull this look off? I can't tell." She said as she started to close the door of the wardrobe closet, only to try and see her reflection in the mirror, only to laugh at herself. "Doesn't really seem like me." She shrugged her shoulders. It didn't really matter if it was her, she guessed because it was more for practical purposes than fashion. "They got this in a skirt?" She asked him before closing the door to the wardrobe completely and coming around behind him to open the door to her office.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
Mordechai paused as he considered her words. He could explain the basics about seasonal colors, and augmenting nature, not covering it. How slight changes in the color selection palette made the difference between serenely accenting, and turning into Tammy Faye Baker, but most likely she was being sarcastic. A practiced eye swept over the titian haired killers body as he assessed the protective layers and positioning of kevlar and padding. He nodded to himself as he was assured that the body armor disguised as riding leather was the right size, and well fitting. Turning to the door the killer glanced down at her query, "Yes, we are going riding, the Judge is out back, and the RM is being delivered to the practice site." Slowly he shook his head as she stuck out her tongue and hip checked him, but he just calmly reset the pile of brochures he had been reading while the female had changed.
Another question again had him turning from the door to see Pru staring at a headless leather outfit in the mirror on the wardrobe. "Pull off the look? It fits, it is armored, what more is needed?" He started to turn then paused again as he realized that his friend was concerned about how she would appear to others. It had never seemed to matter to her before, but he had noticed a difference in her every night wardrobe. Turning back, he slowly swept his eyes over her, observing and cataloging every inch of her curves and form. Turning to the door he growled out, "The pants are well fitted to the musculature of your gluteous, adductor, femoral and vastus muscles. They are slung low on your hips, if you wish to showcase your abdominals with an open jacket. With the jacket closed, the black is a pleasing contrast to the paleness of your complexion while offsetting and showcasing the vibrancy of your hair. Most likely a skirt is available, but it would have to be quite short to allow proper seating position, and that will negate the protection to your lower extremities. Also I believe the city has enacted ordinances to govern the exposure of various body parts, you will need to invest in a set or two of knickers, most likely black to match, lined to prevent wind burn." Shaking his head he turned again towards the door and as she opened it, led the way out into the bar, and out to the Judge.
Mordechai easily straddled the big Victory, then motioning his friend closer began to go over the controls. Clutch, throttle, front and rear brakes. Next came the shifter. Calmly he explained that the six speed transmissions gears were split, one down, five up. with neutral in the middle. As he finished, he patted the seat behind him and when she mounted the rear seat, The killer gave one kick to the starter, and rolled on the throttle as he wove through the city traffic heading for the southern border of the city.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
Prudence just stood there as Mordie started complimenting her appearance, without actually complimenting her. Not that she expected him to gush about how she looked at the moment, or any moment, really, but only he would say it the way he had. She cracked a smile and then cackled as he started shaking his head. "Ya coulda just said, ya look alright, ya know?" She followed after him, only to be stopped by J.J. and a clipboard of orders he needed to be placed. After talking to him for a few minutes, she crossed off some things she wouldn't be reordering and then doubled another order for the upcoming holiday-New Years. With an appreciative pat on his shoulder, J.J. collected the clipboard from Prudence and went on his way for the night.
Once again, Prudence started to follow Mordie, wondering if her lack of underwear, or rather, lack of material to her underwear bothered the male. If changing around him even bothered him. Not that he could have seen much, but it didn't bother her, so she assumed it wouldn't have bothered him. Because they both knew what Kennedy meant to Mordie and how they were and always would be friends. Best friends, even if Prudence gave the guy one hell of a time sometimes. And so, knowing that the border of friendship would never be jeopardized and the fact both of them could appreciate the others physique without 'eye *******' the others physique (as she had heard in passing at the bar during bar operating hours from patrons), Prudence hadn't thought twice about changing. To her, it would be like a locker room of medical workers or police officers, maybe, changing to get ready for work.
She listened as he went over all the beginning things she needed to know. The terms were familiar because Prudence had heard them before from Cliff when she rode on his bike with him, so after seeing how the parts actually worked, the redhead felt a little more confident with trying to ride a cycle. The pat on the back of the seat said what was needed to be said, the woman zipping up the coat before climbing on before he took off to their intended location.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
The ride though the city was slow but uneventful. The pair on the motorcycle garnered a few looks, not many still rode in February. The Judge was big bike though, and Mordechai was easily strong enough to muscle it when necessary. The DPW did a good job, and the killer couldn't stand being in a truck, if his bike could do the job. Once they cleared the city Mordechai opened it up a little heading down the southern highway towards the castle. The RM would chew through the know no problem, it was made for that kind of riding, and the snow would cushion any falls, if they happened. Mordechai was confident threat Pru's past life would help her, as she seemed to have an incredible sense of balance. If that shown through, and she mastered the simple controls, there would be no problems at all.
The bike slowed and a spiked New Rock slipped down the stand as they pulled to a stop in front of a shiny yellow and chrome dirt bike. Slipping from the big road bike he turned to his friend, "The controls are basically the same between this and yours, the main difference being the amount of power, and the top speed. The Hyabusa wins both, hands down, but do not underestimate the low end power of the RM. It isn't a toy, it will pull a wheelie and toss you in a blink, if you get on the throttle to hard." The killer paused watching as the red head went over the bike, then continued with the lesson. "Remember the shift pattern, and get it into neutral. You will be able to tell by rocking it slightly with the clutch engaged. If it rolls easily, it is in neutral. Go over all the controls that I showed you, then when you are ready twist the throttle slightly, and fire it up."
Mordechai watched as she flawlessly recited all the controls, and got it to fire up on the second kick. Not bad, not bad at all. "Alright Pru, kick it in to first, roll on the throttle as you smoothly release the clutch. Do that a few times, then take few circles around the field leaving it in first." Mordechai leaned against the Judge, and watched her to a few short roll outs, then head into the field.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
She followed his instructions as best as Prudence could. The clutch was easily defined as was the task it was supposed to do when Prudence got ahold of it. She reeved it once or twice, just to get the feel of how it felt and the sound in her mind, letting her know when the sound was too much, that she was about to get in to trouble and possibly flip off the damn thing, as the redhead tried to keep control of the bike as she learned how to use it.
The tall, pale, redheaded killer returned to Mordie, circling around him with a cackle and a look of, well, life plastered on her face. To say she enjoyed the ride was a vast understatement. She felt a vast amount of emotions with something that seemed so simple and mundane to most everyone else in the whole world. But this, sitting here in control of something that was dangerous and slightly unpredictable, if you didn't know what the **** you were doing, was thrilling. Dangerous and she loved it. Every second of it.
"Uhhh, I wanna like doing the parking thing." Prudence said loud enough for Mordie to hear when she circled around him again. "Just let go of something or?" The bike wobbled a little bit as Prudence let her eyes assess the entire bike to try and think of what it was she should do to pause the movement of the bike and herself, to see if there was something else she needed to know before she really rode the damn thing how she wanted to, keeping Mordie's cautionary words in the back of her mind before she really felt the wind in her hair and burned some rubber.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
The massive killer felt a small grin tug at his lips as his eyes followed his titan haired friend's progress. Unconsciously he nodded in approval as she went over all the controls, and got a feel for the power of the motor before setting out on her endeavor. The grin took hold as she almost flawlessly made a few laps around the field. It grew even wider as she yelled out a request for instruction on stopping. Reaching out to her mind, he softly spoke to her along a telepathic link. "Back off on the throttle and coast towards your destination. When you are almost there, pull in the clutch, then apply the front brake gently with your right hand." He paused a moment before adding, "Do not forget to put your feet down. They do not balance stopped."
Her expression spoke volumes as she rounded the field again, Mordechai knew he had a convert, and a riding partner. Even if she did ride a crotch rocket. He had almost gotten her a Victory, like his own Judge, but the woman was a hayabusa in the flesh, and he knew it would serve her best to get the bike that fit her style. The killer had known instantly by the look on her face when she found out it was hers, that he had chosen right.
When the red headed killer finally slowed and dropped her feet, Mordechai's grin showed his approval. He quickly reiterated the instructions on shifting, sending her out again with instructions on how to add downshifting into a stop, he settled back against the Judge watching her perform. Each lap showed marked improvement. Mordechai had been right, her innate balance and coordination was making the lessons almost unneeded. A thought crossed his mind as he watched her perform another passable shifting sequence. Why call a crew to come get the bike... "Pru" The killer softly telespeaked her, "let me know when you are ready, you are riding it back to the shop."

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
There were times with Mordie that communicating with the man was difficult for Prudence. Usually, that depended on who or what the topic was about. But this was not one of those times. When it was just them and not any other ******** going on, the two understood the other perfectly. He blamed the times that their communication lacked, or their misunderstandings on the fact she was surrounded by Allurists. That her thoughts and emotions were clouded with feelings. Maybe that was true, but on the opposite and more positive side of things, because of those Allurists she was surrounded by and experiences they had offered her, or shared with her, Prudence was now learning who she was. She wasn't an entity of someone else anymore. Her actions were done on her call and no one else's.
The bike came to a stop when she wanted it to, thanks to his instruction. Prudence put the kickstand down, lunged off it and gave Mordie a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She moved away from him, but then gave him another hug. "Best. Gift. Ever." There were a few gifts that Prudence had gotten through the years from various people; Cliff or her mini's mostly, but this one by far was the best to her. Her knuckles pounded in to his before the redhead grabbed a rubber band from around her left wrist, collected her blaze colored hair and put it in a secure, yet somewhat messy ponytail.
"Ya sure ya want to give this beauty to me? She's really awesome. And beautiful." Prudence shifted the weight on her feet, as a hand came up to her arm and rubbed at the material of the coat she wore. "I'm sorry I've been a **** sometimes." She looked past the male in front of her as she said that, and even took a step back. "I'm real lucky to have a friend like ya." Her saphire orbs moved back to him as she said that, because she meant it and wanted him to know that she did. With every fiber of her being.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
A slow smile slid across the killers lips as the titian haired female brought the little Suzuki dirt bike to a perfect stop. He endured the hugs, returning them with one massive arm around her back. She had been his anchor from the time of his introduction to this life. She had found him, and taught him. He had eventually surpassed her in some aspects, but then he was obsessive, and trained with single minded determination, forgoing all other things. His facial expression could not convey the happiness he felt inside, her joy, was his, but without his kennedy nearby, his countenance remained for the most part stoic, other then the slight tugging at the corners of his lips and the glint shimmering in his eyes.
He watched as she tied back her hair, and fingered the German racing leathers. His eyes locked to her's as he nodded curtly at her unnecessary apology. Seldom did anything she say or do adversely affect him, usually her criticisms only caused him to work hard towards the elusive goal of perfection. "I am sure I want you to have the Hyabusa, and keep the RM to practice with. When the weather breaks, we ride." Swinging a leg over the Judge he pulled in the clutch and kicked the starter. one hand reached up to test the tension of the leather thong keeping his mass of hair in a low tail, then nodded once more to her as he released the clutch, and began a slow roll out waiting for her to join in formation.

Re: yuletime thank you, take 2 [Pru]
Prudence appreciated Mordechai in ways she never conveyed. The fact that the two usually understood the other without having to convey every little facet or detail to the other was almost a god-send to Prudence. She didn't mind talking, but she didn't like over-talking to anyone. She wasn't blessed with the gift of gab, because the redhead didn't see the purpose or point in talking about ********. If she cared, you knew by her curt, abrupt nature. There was no beating around the bush. She just came out with it and that was that. The fact he didn't require her to say more than what was needed, was always appreciated. Then there was the fact that she knew he would always, always help her and she would always, always try and help him-it was no surprise the two were best friends in her mind.
She watched him get on the bike and pull off slowly. At one point, the woman had been jealous that he had surpassed her skills, but now? Now, those things didn't matter to her anymore. Prudence had evolved, and even if she didn't know the ways she had evolved or spoke of the ways, she was happy with how things turned out. They were back to being friends since CC had decided to attack her and Levi for whatever reason, and Prudence had killed her. Lori was some strange, but welcomed addition to her bloodline. Even at Prudence's awkwardness whenever the woman was overly affectionate with her. Kennedy was happy, and so was Mordie. She had made her own bloodline; even if it was small. She had burned her divorce papers, moved out to her own apartment and was starting to find herself. Add in this gift from Mordie and what started out as a not so great year, seemed to be ending on a high note for the redhead. She didn't even escape to the shadow realm anymore, or get pulled there without any notice. Somehow, even though her circle of friends and family was small, life was great for the woman.
With that thought in her mind, Prudence got on the bike she had been riding, pushed off the ground with her feet and followed after Mordie. Her speed was slow at first, not more than a crawl really, but that was because Prudence wasn't done having fun. She leaned to her left, scooped up a pile of snow and lightly chucked it at Mordie's back as she came up behind him at a quicker speed. "Merry Christmas, Mordie." She shouted over the two bike's engines as the pile of snow landed somewhere in his direction, but not quite hitting him, the redhead laughing at her horrible aim.
