I tried finding it.. but I could not. But I recall, David saying that "rapid fire" would use ammo faster, but it had more chances to hit.

If I recall it correctly (and that is sketchy) the original question was in regard to why someone went through so much more 7.62x39mm ammo than the other kinds.

So I concur with Regan, I think it is rapid fire (multiple projectiles headed to a target) versus single fire, (one projectile).

iirc this was in reference to the store bought guns, and things like the mz...the higher accuracy was built into the stats, ie the mz has a 10 accuracy, higher than a sniper rifle at 9. no standard bsattlefield or assault weapon has the inherent accuracy of a bull-barrel bolt action, as well as the 308 round is a ballistically superior cartridge to the 7.62x39 hence the higher accuracy rating on the mz is due to filling the air with lead. which increases the odds of a hit, BUT all that is factored into the accuracy stat of the weapon, it is not a separate variable....the only thing that changed was acc12 to acc11, which should not have had a noticeable result, especially to lose every single fight. Would almost guarantee it is something todo with the actual gun, and how the game is reading. there were similar problems with 10,10,10 customs a yr or so ago. what is needed is long form battle reports off each gun, and to know if after buying ammo, and going back to the other rifle, he is killing again.
