-- A few hours Later --

Momento had found the place on crownet, made a call, and had the papers arranged to be done as soon as possible. They would need a picture of him, but she’d take one and email it so it was a bit better quality compared to a cellphone text. The rest was on the guy to get it done and she figured it wouldn’t be that difficult. However, Melody didn’t really know. She hadn’t run into this problem yet being that she was alive, had a record of a past, a birth certificate, a passport, the works. This kid though had nothing. He might not even exist in the actual system so it was safer to just have them forge everything and make him exist.

She didn’t have to leave the house to get all of this done. She had wired half the funds to the account as per requested and would wire the other half after it was over and she had the documents. But sitting around the house alone wasn’t really her thing. In fact she liked to be active. To move. And she was thinking a hunt would sound rather good. However, it could hold two purposes. The other being giving Issac lessons on combat. She flipped open her phone and dialed Serendipity.

“Hey, you two done for a bit? I figured I’d give the kid some training.” Melody didn’t add the combat part, but she knew that Seren would assume that. She was just hoping that maybe Serry wouldn’t think too hard about that. If she really wanted to hurt the kid she’d have done it, but she didn’t know if Serry would think that way. The idea of Mome killing things didn’t seem to do anything but set her on edge. "So whenever your done you can send him back or I can meet you two in the QZ."

Through the fadeportals and home again. Seren had shown Issac how to get to her apartment. It was a twist and turn here and there but easily manageable. He would learn soon. She hadn't really been sure where to start with him so, she went to the very beginning. On the internet, there were websites. Places to go for parents to teach kids to read and write. Perfect. She had printed off pages and there they sat, in her kitchen, teaching and learning.

Mome didn't have the patience for things like this but Seren, she liked it. It gave her a sense of purpose in a life full of anything but. It also provided the sense of need she craved and the attention as well being an Allurist and all. Things like that were just needed for her to feel that sense of peace and fulfillment in her life.

Things were progressing nicely and Seren was quite impressed with Issac's thirst for knowledge and his remarkable learning curve. She hadn't been sure it was going to be an easy task or difficult but teaching him was easy. He was so focused. It was amazing to have a good student, though there were a few little bumps in the road. Always was with a clean pallet but all in all, they were having a great time.

Incoming call. She put her pencil down and grabbed her phone, answering it as it was his Sire and her best friend. "Hello darling" “Hey, you two done for a bit? I figured I’d give the kid some training. She chuckled and nodded, though the other couldn't see it. "We could stand for a break. Took much information in one day isn't good for one's brain, I'm sure but your kiddo's a smart cookie." She commented and looked to Issac, trying to give him the reassurance that he was indeed doing wonderfully. "So whenever your done you can send him back or I can meet you two in the QZ." She then shrugged her shoulders a bit. "I'll leave that up to your kid, I guess. Either is fine with me. We are only a hop skip and a jump from the QZ, after all. Might be easier." She looked to Issac for a yes or no but then answered anyway. "Meet us there in ten minutes." She commented and then hung up.

"Come on. Time to do a different kind of learning and knowing Momento, shes going to push you kid. I hope you're up for it." She commented, grabbing her coat and putting it on. She knew that he could handle anything that she could throw at him, she was just glad she had the ability to heal. She smiled to him and waited for him before walking out the door. This would be a long afternoon for the new recruit but, exciting.

Issac was amazed how easy he went from Momento's house to Serendipity's house. Even though he did not understand how. But Serendipity kept reminding him that he must remember the exact way in and out. When he arrived inside Serendipity apartment. He was amazed. So many pretty things. He really hadn't time to look around Momento's. He watched as Serendipity was looking on some kinda of machine. She looked like she knew what she was doing.

Issac was still looking around when he heard a machine making noise. He looked at Serendipity. She didn't seem scared so he knew everything was okay. He took a seat at a table. Serendipity came over to him and start showing him stuff. Some of this seemed easy while some was a little more difficult. But, he wasn't going to let Momento or Serendipity down. They had shown they cared about him. So he was going to give his all. He put everything into learning what Serendipity was showing him.

As time was ticking away, he heard another noise this time Serendipity put something to her ear. Then he could hear Momento talking. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the cell phone Momento gave him. He put it to his ear to see if he could hear her. With no luck he slowed slide it back into his pocket. He began to think that one day she will call on him. But for now he did think it was best that Serendipity handle it.

While talking on the phone he noticed that Serendipity looked at him for an answer. Not knowing what the question was he really didn't know what to answer. Then Serendipity answered for him. Which he thought was better due to the fact he didn't want to give the wrong answer. Then Serendipity hung up the phone and starting tell him about what was they were getting ready to due. He thought to him self for a minute while she was speaking. No matter what while they are teaching him he will give his all! He looked at her "Mrs. Serendipity thank you for taking time for me." He then got out of his chair and followed her.

Melody was at the QZ waiting for the other two pratically before she knew it. She stood in the entry to the supermarket, looking around for the other two, her lips pursed. When they appeared she resisted the urge to wave them over like some other people would do and instead stuck to her hardass routine she was comfortable with. Besides the kid would see a lot of that in the near future. She looked almost annoyed, like they had taken ages to show up, when they really hadn’t. “Alright, first things first. You got yourself a weapon? If not I have a spare you can use. And if you ever touch my gun, you’ll lose all your fingers and a couple toes.” She didn’t say it with any change of tone, moving to that and passed it without so much as a second thought. After all he had to know the rules to play by them. “I’m going to teach you how to take out a zombie in ranged and personal combat. You are going to listen, watch, and then replicate. If you get scared of anything you see just try not to piss yourself.”

With a slight gaze at Seren she pursed her lips. “You could email me a report on his progress whenever you have the time. I’ll not take up any more of it today with him. Thanks, Serendipity for your help with him. If you aren’t busy I’ll send him over tomorrow or whenever your free.” She gave a small smirk and turned back to the kid. Her kid. Now that was so weird to say. “Time to get to work. And this won’t be as easy for you, but i’ll show you how to take down a Feral or Moonie too.”

Issac and Serendipity arrived in this new place to him. This place was darker than most places he had been since meeting Momento and Serendipity. This place kinda of reminded him of the room he grew up in the darkness that is. He walked over to Momento. Momento spoke Issac answered "No I do not have a gun." One thing for sure if she asked him something he was going to answer immediately. She has been good to him to this point. He does not want to take any chances of her changing her mind about any of this. Then Momento starting talking about her gun Issac listened and knowledge her words. Issac's eye did wonder off to the guns that what laying there. He begin to wonder what these were used for. The feeling of anticipation was starting to build in him. He had been through so much in such a short period. But, still in his mind he would not stop until they told him to. Then Momento started telling him that he was going to learn how to take zombies out in range and personal combat. This did frighten him some. But, then again he did trust Momento and to this point she had never left him alone. One thing did stick into his mind was the fact that she did call him kid. It would have put a smile on his face if he thought he could get away with it.

When Momento told Serendipity that she did not have to stay. Issac turned to her "Serendipity thank you for the lessons to this point. I look forward to more to come." After saying those few words he turned his attention back to Momento ready to begin.

Seren took him from her apartment and through the sewers to the QZ. It was the easiest way for now. Fadeportals were new to him and so best go the easier route. That and, she was taking the poor kid to Momento after all. For combat lessons. This early. This was going to be rough for him. So, through the sewer they traveled and out the other side. Into the zombie infested Quarantine Zone.

She knew exactly where to find the woman. Always. So, into the building they slipped, Issac at her side. She smiled to her as she came into view and then, just stood back, watching and listening. She was terribly curious to still watch how the woman interacted with the new kid around. Something about the fact that Momento had a childe now fascinated Seren. It was something she didn't think she was going to see any time in the near future. Especially a guy.

Momento spoke and Seren smirked to her. She whispered into her head. "Play nice. Remember, hes brand new. Clean slate. He's just a kid." She chuckled and then looked to him as he spoke, perking a brow and nodding her head. "You'll come see me tomorrow, Issac. I'll have a few things more for you to learn. Slow and steady, yea?" She smiled to him and then looked to Mome. "I'll leave you guys to it for now but later, if you haven't wore him out, I'd like to borrow him for a few moments. One more thing for today to show him." She commented and with that, Seren turned on her heels and left. She had things to do, after all and now a lesson to prepare for tomorrow. Issac was a quick learner though so, a full lesson at that.
