The man had said nothing about him having a hook. Suppose it didn't phase him any, not that he could see it. Erebos looked from the man to the bartender. Wondering if Renee was the woman he was talking about before. He rested the side of his head on his hand with his hook hidden behind his elbow on the table as he was asked a question.

"I've been through war, seen my fellow soldiers die, almost died myself. Of course given the option to live or die is easy. My mom would be heartbroken for something to happen to me now after everything that's happened already." Erebos replied, thinking that was a rather odd question to ask. Anyone who would want to live would want to live if they were dying. He wondered if taking this guy up on his offer for a drink was a bad idea. He could very well be pretending to be blind and really be some ploy of a serial killer.

He nodded his head as he was handed his beer and the bar keep made sure Eirik felt the drink. He listened to the man and heard everything he said. "I came here to get away and not let my family know I was sick. It became a new life for me here. I learned things quickly here and meet the woman who owns this place and she saved me in a sense." He did not say he had been dying no one needed to know that well if he turned someone he would tell them he had been turned because he was dying. He took the beer and sipped it. Behind him he heard a brawl starting and shook his head. That was something that happened in any bar and he wondered if the bouncer would stop it.

"You don't keep in touch with your family?" Erebos asked, he could only relate a little. He didn't want his mother to know how much he struggled, making sure to have a smile on his face when she saw him even if he was having a hard time. "Saved you huh?" he said, he put that to how women could save men. He took a long swig from the beer. He tensed up as a fight broke out. When people get drunk, they become stupid a lot of times.

He took another drink from the bottle before turning towards the fight. It was getting out of hand as a girl was knocked down as she tried to break up the fight. "Hey!" Erebos said, jumping from his seat. "Time to settle down, so into proving who is more manly you go and hurt a lady." he said. He reached down with his hand, a hook wouldn't be much help and it tended to scare peope when it comes towards them.

The woman smiled and took his hand, getting up. This pissed off the one man who had knocked her down to start with.

"Don't be lookin at my woman like that.." the man said. Erebos didn't pay the man any mind, he wasn't doing anything wrong, it was what he should have been doing in the first place.

"You alright, love?" Erebos asked, the woman replied yes. He heard a growl behind him, feeling a sharp pain in his upper side. He took in a sharp breath. Erebos moved away, spotting the knife the man had.

"What did you do!?" the woman yelled.
"Shut up." the man replied, grabbing her hand and dragged her off.

Erebos stared where they left off at, wide eyed. No, this can't be it. He stumbled back onto the floor. "Think I need something stronger to drink now.." he said, trying to get his phone out to call for help, he knew odds were good no one else would be calling unless told to. He got a couple of numbers in as his vision blurred. "Can...someone call for help...that'd be great.." he said, the phone slipped from his hand.

Eirik heard the man as he asked for help he motioned to the woman behind the bar "Sarah can you help me take him to the back room?". When they arrived in the back room Eirik said Thank You. the woman and took off his glasses he looks toward the man and the sightlessness of his eyes can be seen. The woman had told him the wound was fatal she also knew what Eirik was and what he would probably do. The woman left the room and closed the door. "Hook you said you would want to live if you where given the choice. The one who helped you in here she said your wound is fatal and that you will die soon. I can stop that from happening but you will also have to listen to me for a while and I will help you though what will happen to you. I give you this choice though before I do what needs to be done. Do you want to live?"

Erebos tried to focus but he couldn't, he wasn't even aware of being moved. What would his mother do? To die in some bar...he lived through so much. He closed his eyes, he didn't want his mother to go through that but...he was dying...nothing could be done. "Of course I want to live..." he grumbled, who wouldn't? "How can I live..?"

Eirik listened to the man then put his wrist to his mouth and ripped it open. He looked toward Hook and put his wrist to the mans mouth "Drink. If you accept this it will make you live but your life will be different it will not be the same. You will be forever changes. With this change comes great responsibility and I will tell you about them after the change. You will also not be mortal anymore. Drink so that you can live." Eirik waited till the man started to drink and keep track so that he could stop the man when he had enough. He would explain more when the changes had finished.

Erebos was sure he was really far gone now, nothing this guy said made any sense. It sounded like a plot to a bad movie. He felt something go in his mouth, a liquid of some sort. What was it? He coughed, it was moving down his throat.

He felt pain run through his body, he curled up. What was going on? This was it, wasn't it? He was dying? He felt his mind slipping...

Erebos eye's snapped open, he shoved himself away from the blind man. "What..." he muttered. What the hell was going on? He rubbed his face, blood, blood...wasn't his, it was the guy in front him. What did he do?

He was pushed back and listened to the man to hear the changes. When all was done Eirik looked to where he heard the man breathing. "You should calm down and I will explain what is happening to you. It will be hard with you not in a good state to listen." Eirik waited till the man had calmed down and then started to speak. "You are changed. You are a vampire now. I will explain it all. Not to long ago I was turned by the woman who owns this bar. I had been dying a for a long time and she saved me. I have saved you as she did me so you will live a good life. There are some things you should know as well. One thing is do not get caught feeding because that would be bad. If you need there are Rabbits, chickens, or even blood bags that you can buy from the store to help with the cravings till you get the hang of this life. Another thing is you can not go out in the sun it will harm you. We do not sparkle like the Vampires in Twilight. Another thing is unless your like me on this path called Allurist you will not be able to eat real food or drink anything ever again it will make you sick. Do not harm anyone else out there and you will be good. I will stay with you for a little while till you feel okay about who you are." He waited for the man to take it all in. He may have forgotten things but he would remember them later.
