"Twenty Seven thousand. My interest? To clear up the events prior to that, plead my own case. Yeah, I tried to frame Neveah. She took me in as my adopted sire, then abandoned me for no reason. Then I was also forced out of the Andras family, once again for no reason. Call me a coward if you wish, I just wasn't stupid enough to try and attack someone by myself all alone in the world. I am not a bad vampire, and the look on your faces makes me feel even worse than I already do. Also ten on one is sort of cowardly, so... Come on lets bid. I have four booming businesses and no family or friends to spend it on." He said and quickly afterwards let out a sigh shaking his head and staring at the ground. This was going to be hard to get through but he wanted answers and hoped that this woman would have them. That and he was also desperate for some contact with other vampires.

Pausing before outbidding the gentlemen, Alexandrea tilted her head to the side quizzically towards Lia. She wondered what the other woman was thinking but didn't try to intrude.

At last deciding to withdraw from the area for the moment, as the other bidder's words seemed sincere to her ears, Alexandrea stayed quiet but continued to watch from a quiet corner by the fish tank. She hadn't decided that she wouldn't bid again yet, just that she would wait for the moment.

"That may be all well and good Axel but you still hurt people both emotionally and physically. Do you have any idea how it made me feel to see my own family removing my limbs? It's not appreciated. As a result I will see your twenty seven thousand and I will raise you."

Pausing for a moment she looked at her phone and placed a hand on her hip in a mock pout.

"Thirty Thousand."

"The question was asked, I gave my answer. I would endure that pain if it meant I had a family. Something. To think I made a friend invited into her home only to be attacked and said she can't be my friend. Anyways enough of the sad stuff. Forty thousand." He said not even bothering to raise his head.

"There was a reason that you were disowned, and I'm pretty sure you know good and well what it is. You won't find any pity from me. Not now, not ever."

Doc saw Tori on the auction block. He stepped closed. He stared at her, his face a masking his thoughts. Outwardly his gave nothing away,.. but he knew her. He knew the curve of her face, He knew that look in her eye.

"Fifty Thousand."

"Sixty Thousand" he said lifting his head to look up briefly towards the man.

Tori turned away from Axel to meet Doc's gaze. Indeed, there was a fire in her gaze that proved she was irritated. But really, this was nothing. If she were really angry, he knew that she would rip someone apart without thinking twice. Underneath her irritation was a look that said it all - gratitude.

When the men began to go back and forth, she crossed her arms beneath her chest and watched with a mixture of amusement and confusion on her features.

"Eighty thousand, and yes not expecting pity. I am expecting answers. Just so you are clear. There was no reason for the disowning, not that I am aware or why would I be spending this much money for the answers." He said and then nodded towards the other man. "Starting to wish I never bought that relic last week." He said with a small grin.
