--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Madison: She had made him nervous. The way that he was breathing was the tell. She’d done it enough times herself but for her it was when she was forced into more social or public situations. It wouldn’t do well for either of them if he let anxiety get the best of him. Re-thinking her own plan, Madison tried to think of ways that would ease his nerves about the factory they were about to break into. It would be possible for her to get the door they were entering unlocked so he didn’t have to fiddle with that and possibly fail. She hadn’t asked how proficient he was at breaking into the type of lock that this building had.
“Would it be better if I got the door you’re going through unlocked first?” she asked with a glance towards him, her pace starting to slow. “If so, you’ll just have to stay put until you see smoke and hear guards shouting before you go in. Once you’re inside, I’ll be right behind you, coming in through the same door.”
Zane: The waiting while she thought was only making it worse, he kept second guessing himself. His mind just gone wild thinking about how much she won't like him if he screws up and gets them both into trouble. He sighed again and just smacked himself in the head. No more jumping to conclusions or assuming, he is better than this and he knows it. He looked towards Madison and smiled.
"Nah, I am fine Madison, lets just do this. I am certain we will be okay after all there is two of us. Alright, set up that diversion and make sure I know it's a diversion and I will get that door unlocked quickly." He told her.
Madison: Pale blue irises stared at him without any reflection of the internal thoughts inside her head. His smacking of himself at first seemed to have no reasoning behind the action but upon thinking about it in a more logical manner, he was probably physically chiding himself for being anxious about the situation. Either way, the man needed to get control of himself and it appeared as though he was beginning to manage that. It made Madison glad that she had enough knockout and smoke bombs to get the both of them out of the building in the case that they were caught.
“When we get to the corner, we’re going to stop, talk a bit and then hug as though we’re simply parting ways on our way home. You’re going to go to the west of the building. There’s two entrances on that side. Stay wide of the first you pass, there’s a camera on that one but the second one should be clear.” Madison paused as they reached the end of the block, stopping and turning to Zane so that she was facing him, “I’ll be heading towards the north end of the building where the dumpsters are. It’s not uncommon for the homeless to dwell in this area. You shouldn’t have an issue knowing the diversion. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
Zane: Zane was ready, he felt calm and had his wits about him. He just kept his father’s words running through his head. If he had the right attitude he knows he can get through this. He looked towards her and then gave her a slight nod. "Alright, that sounds good to me Madison." he said as they kept walking and paused when she did. He listened to her intently and then smirked a bit. "Where there is smoke there's fire eh? I like the way you think." He said and then he made his move wrapping his arms around her middle in a tender hug before turning to part.
His nervousness came back but he just emptied his mind and didn't let it bring negative thoughts with it. He started walking off towards the west side of the building only a few steps from Madison before he hopes he understood her right. Was it hug then and go to the west? Or was he going to the west side after the diversion? Whatever it was it was too late he was heading towards the west side of the building and if he was doing something wrong she would stop him before he got too far away from her.
Madison: His arms wrapped around her waist and hers moved to wrap about his neck. But where there was tenderness in his movements, there was stiffness and awkwardness in hers. Other than Alexandrea, Lyana and sometimes Luffy, the telepath wasn’t overtly comfortable with physical contact from others. Even when it was just for show and her idea to boot.
She kept the hug brief before letting go and giving Zane the cheekiest smile she could muster, “See you in a bit.”
Both vampires turned from one another and parted ways. Since she had a further distance to travel, Madison quickened her step as she moved around the east side of the building and then headed down the alleyway that ran along the north end of the building where the semi-trucks loading bays were. Huge metal dumpsters lined the alleyway, spray painted stencil lettering named which businesses each of the dumpsters belonged to. The ones she needed weren’t difficult to find and the last one was out of the eye of the camera that watched over the loading docks. Lifting the lid to peek inside, she was pleased to see that the trash hadn’t been picked up in a few days. There was enough debris to keep a fire burning long enough to cause a sufficient distraction but not so much that the blaze could get out of control, causing the guards to call the fire department.
Grabbing a cardboard box from the neighboring business’ recyclables bin, Madison tored the box into roughly six by four inch pieces. Pulling her lighter out of her pocket, she lit them ablaze one by one. Making sure that each piece was halfway aflame before tossing it strategically into the trash container. The sides were metal which would keep it contained and the worst that would happen was that it would melt the plastic lids. Once smoke started to billow to the point of being noticed, Madison ran from the scene.
