Almost each time I log into Charlotte - there is no grid cause of that stupid alert box. XD

The grid vanishes entirely?

I love the movement update - not fond of the box overlaying the grid. Could you have a fixed sized alert box above the grid that doesn't overlay it, but scrolls, like it was in the flash version?

Yeh. Under all her auction sales alerts. The box covers the entire grid.

Not good at all if you're quickly logging in to try and run away from an attack party - and could be used as a tactic to stall someone from running.

Only if you can know every item that some one puts up and buys them all. Seems like a waste of money to guess at it. I have the same thing with Dhara, but a quick click of the "refresh" button or the little red x takes care of it. Doesn't take me any more time than just regularly logging in.

That's definitely possible. I was hoping not to push the grid down, to avoid scrolling though.

Speech would do it.

I'm not sure what other people use, but on my computer, there's a good 2 inches of blank space at the bottom. On my phone, I have to scroll anyway. A tiny box at the top wouldn't hurt.

Hmm perhaps I could use a script to gather data to see the average resolution people on PCs are using. I'm using a slightly smaller res because I'm always on my TV, so I have to scroll if I got any alerts under the old system, but perhaps not everyone has to, especially now that browsers don't have five thousands buttons at the top.

Yeh, as Lyssa said. Speech would do it.

As would all of the attacks you'd get. Or having human thralls in the square after they've attacked - so they're recognised - and there is NO way of removing the alert that tells you they are there. Not the refresh or the x or anything.

There's actually a setting for that now on the settings page - turn off human recognition. Not that you have the time to go click that while your character is getting beat to hell, but it is there <.<
