Reginald sat there looking from Kira to Lexy and then closed his eyes and just rested back in the chair. He just had the strongest feeling he wasn't making a good impression at all. It was either that or his lack of confidence in being a social person took over him. He let out a sigh and then smiled as he sat back up looking to Kira and laughed a little. "Yeah, but if I wasn't so overprotective that fade beast would of eaten you up before I was even a vampire. I still laugh at myself for attacking it with a helmet but still.. It bought you enough time to get away. I also can't help but to feel protective I mean who is going to look after me if you end up getting hurt?" He asked her before turning his head to Lexy.

He thought for a moment, had he accepted that he was a vampire.. He thought he did, he had always wanted something like this all his human life. No he did accept it all, perhaps the problem really was that he was fighting his killer instincts though. That was fine he would just have to train more often. "Yeah I guess you are right Alexandrea, I think I have a fix for it we will see how me hunting more and getting stronger helps my issue. Anyways, so what do you do for fun and a living? Are you stronger than Kira or on par? Um.. Also would you like to be my friend?" He asked her. He had quite a few questions for her but that last one was the most important to him. He really hoped that she would like him enough to call him a friend. He guesses they just met but it was worth asking right?

So Reggie had 'saved' Kira from a fadebeast. Alex rolled her eyes and wondered about that. Her Kiwi kept a pair in her basement. They were pets of her sire, Mama Sisya. The woman has been gone a long time, to Africa Alex thought, but if she was to return and find one of her pets dead? Well, Alexandrea just hoped she would have time to get to the other side of town before the storm hit.

"What do you mean, he only has emotions when he's around you???" Alexandrea asked her friend concerned. "That's... I've never heard of such a thing. How is that possible?" *And just how clingy is this childe of yours being, Kiwi?*

Reggie's coming right out and asking for Alexandrea to be his friend, threw the blonde of a loop. She gut said now way. There was something about the young man she just didn't trust. But he was important to Kira...

"We'll see. One can never have too many friends, right? As far as which of us is the stronger between Kira and myself. That would depend on what you were measuring us by. We've both been turned about the same amount of time so I would think we are pretty equal."

Alex left the rest of Reggie's questions unanswered. Sharing what she like to do for fun was none of the fledgling's business. And as far as her actual business went... if he was sticking around town long enough, he would wander into Alex's shop eventually. Almost everyone else in town had. The thought brought a smile back to Alexandrea's face and she turned to Reggie. Let him think she was smiling at him.

"Where are you from Reggie? And what do you do for a living?"

Kira huffed, "If it wasn't a damn new moon, I could have given that fadebeast a good fight. Might have still beaten the **** out of me but I wouldn't have been helpless against it." she said, the fadebeasts in her basement were a pain in the butt, she knew their personalities however, which helped herd them down there so they were out of the way. She wondered if they could starve to death, she should find some bad people to feed them though, just in case.

Of course him running at it with helmet was still funny as hell, now that everything was done and over with of course. He got himself killed trying to protect her...she had no choice but to turn him. He already figured out she was a vampire. Damn pendulum, that was still the oddest way to be outed as a vampire but your own pendulum.

Kira shrugged, she wasn't sure how it was possible. "Some killers don't have emotions, so his just...connect to me I guess? He's overly devoted.." she said. She wasn't sure how to answer how clingy he is. When she thought of clingy, she always thought of clingy being someone always holding onto them which he didn't do, thank goodness, he'd learn will quick not to, she had a habit of stabbing.

She raised an eyebrow when Reggie asked who was stronger. She wasn't really sure, all she could remember was Lexy getting her heart, the very first time that it happened. Either she was stronger or that was just one very unlucky thing that happened to her.

As for Lexy's questions to Reggie, Kira started laughing. She knew answers to those, he was from here and had done nothing for living. Suppose now he can say he works for Kira, because it was true. She gave him a job at her shop while he was still human. She settled down, "Sorry...go ahead and answer that.."

Reginald sat there quietly now watching Lexy nervously now that he said what he had said. He wished he could take it back though, he wanted her to be his friend but he thinks that it was a horrible idea to ask. He looked shocked by Alexandea's comment on his emotions and he sighed realizing how he felt when Kira was gone. He felt empty inside whenever she wasn't near him, like a bottomless pit.

Her next question to him startled him but the smile made him smile in return closing his eyes as he tries to think about her question. Well what did he do for a living? "Well, I um... I don't really do anything for a living. I just kill things now, train and become stronger. Before I was a vampire I just played video games all day until I was kicked out and Kira saved me. Oh! I work for Kira, I guess I do everything she needs done and want to become the best worker she has ever had. It's not really what I do for a living though. It's more I do it because I want to do it for her." He said

"Well what about for yourself, Reggie? Don't you want to do anything that is just for you? To improve yourself or expand your experiences? To grow?"

Or are you just a parasite, only existing in conjunction with your sire and only experiencing life vicariously through her?

The last part, Alexandrea kept to herself and throughout, she kept her tome pleasant and a friendly smile on her face.

"I'm sure you don't want to be tied to Kira 24/7, do you? I know she certainly needs time to her self on occasion. Not to mention the time she needs to spend with her other friends, family and the rest of our sisterhood. Don't you have any other outside interests besides killing and Kira? Training is important, but you have to get out and meet new friends. Being a loner in Harper Rock can be bad for your health."

Alex leaned back a bit and gave Kira a quick subtle wink that Reggie couldn't have caught. She was pretty sure her Kiwi could guess what path Alexandrea's thoughts were on.

Kira shrugged, "Yeah pretty much you work for me." she said. At least he had interested in learning about what her shop was about, she had one employee of the same mindset while the other had just been there to keep her mind from being spread. She just said **** it though, that old man wasn't around and she was sure most of the paladins knew what she looked like, she just didn't see the point anymore. Reggie at the time being human and needing a job, that had been the first thought though.

She started to laugh again at Lexy's words. "Exact same thing I've been telling him." she said. "He needs his own friends and interests."

"I still do things on my own.." she added, though it seemed like Reggie was always around. She wasn't used to someone being so apart of her life. Still, there were things she rather be alone for. Fight with her thoughts, composing music, singing, or taking her time and finding enjoyment in killing the worse of the worse human she could find.

Kira looked at Reggie, "See, you really should find some other things to fill your life. I'd say try a pet but got quite a few as it is.." she said.

Reginald felt awkward both of them telling him he needed to find things for himself. Truth be told he really honestly didn't want anything else other than to be with Kira. To have family and be cared for and to care for others. He was sure it would be more than Kira one day that he would hang out with hell.. He is hanging out with Lexy right now..

"Well, Lexy if you want we can go out and do things if you would like? I mean I really like Kira and I will always be there for her and stuff but I wouldn't mind hanging out with other people too." He said as he looked between the two. "I already understand that she needs time to do other things and that is perfectly fine with me, I can wait we have a place and a couch.." He said.

Alexandrea realized her private assessment of Reggie being nothing more than a parasite might be considered harsh to some, especially given that she herself was a vampire. And vampires could justifiably be all considered parasites. But it was how she saw him, although she of course kept those thoughts private.

On the surface, the young man seemed eager to please. Perhaps overtly so. But under the seemingly sincere effort he was making at trying to make friends with Alexandrea, she got the impression that he didn't trust her anymore than she trusted him. Kira had enough obsessive men in her life. Even with David being out of the picture, there was still Windbag to worry about and Alex's fellow Allurist seemed to attract stalkers the way flowers attract bees.

"Well, we are hanging out right now, aren't we Reggie? What sort of 'hanging out' did you have in mind? Games? Sparring? Shopping? Girl talk with a 'chick flick'?" The blonde kept her tone light and teasing, smiling with her eyes as well as her lips to belay the hostile feelings she was developing towards her best friend's new childe.

"Think you need some guy friends. Another killer you can kill **** with." Kira replied, "Maybe I can find a better brother for you." she muttered. The brother he did have most likely hated him. She was always worried about siring males considering what happened with David but siring Reggie hadn't been a bad thing.

She tilted her head as Lexy spoke. "Chick flick? Ack.." she grumbled, she really didn't watch movies but when she was made to watch some, she spent most of the time thinking of ways to kill the annoying characters in it. She wasn't sure sparring was the greatest idea, Lexy took out Kira's heart the first time and Reggie and Kira did a lot of training.

"Lexy is a busy woman, we should probably let her get back to her business. And I should check on mine." Kira said.
