Sighing she sat outside of her gate. Little would had taken her right up to the front door of the Estate had she not stated that Sethos needed to have some outside time before she was forced inside for the day. This didn't surprise him, and why should it? Unlike many in this city she actually had papers stating she couldn't be in the sun for medical reasons.
Her eyes followed Sethos run about even though she truly wasn't watching him go about chasing scents across the hill top, she hadn't expected to get very far in her hunt for diamond teeth, but she hadn't expected to completely fail. To have not a single tooth just made her feel silly having wasted most of her night searching.
Slowly she thought about her night and she gave another sigh, if she was honest it hadn't been a complete lost She had gone out and not to help or aid someone and come right back home but had truly gone out about the city. To her that was a rare thing in and of itself.
Sethos lifted his head up and started to bark, she slowly followed the direction he was barking and could make out the figures at the front of the church. It was either Ripper or Noelle coming home. Her eyes turned towards the sky, it was growing lighter and she knew she was going to have to get inside. Otherwise she wouldn't be leaving the house for a completely different reason than her anti-social manner.
“Come on Sethos” she called out as she turned towards the front gate, she paused to look back towards the church for a moment, and slowly lifted her eyes to the roof. It was a funny thing she supposed, the church, the lake, the graveyard... and a little cat that had died all played a part in her moving and staying in this city.
[The End]
