She returned to The Eyrie a few minutes before the sun began to peek the horizon, shrugging out of her jacket as she made her way up to her hut with a quietly sigh escaping past her lips. All in all, it had been a good day. Little drama, very few headaches and she had gotten things done – something she had been lacking in as she stepped onto the bridge leading to her little ‘home’. She could hear the bird begin to chirp, a sense of exhaustion rolling through her slender frame as she heard her phone beginning to play the alarm she set daily to remind her when it was time to return to the shadows.

Every removed the key from her pocket, opening the door as she approached the threshold and turned lightly to look over the tree branches and other huts spread out before a faint smile played across her lips. Andras and Tytonidae were her home. Lia had led her to Harper Rock, Micah had given her family and friendship, and Velveteen had given her a stronger purpose to focus on. Good and bad days were abundant, individuals in both places drove her to the point of wanting to stab someone, but as she inclined her head quietly and dropped her bag inside the front door, she considered that she’d never want to return to her past life if she had the chance. She had run from it once and Micah had brought her back to the city.

The brunette had friends inside and outside of her faction. She even considered Enver to be somewhat less annoying now that the two talked occasionally through email - granted, there were still times slapping him upside the head was a better thought than being polite. Harper Rock had changed her for the better, and stepping inside her hut, closing it behind her, kneeling down to scratch behind the ears of her Rottweiler puppy, Every knew this was where she belonged. She stood up and wandered into her bedroom, removing her cell phone from her pocket and sent a text to her sire before flopping down on the giant plush elephant that AJ had given her to relax, falling asleep shortly after.
