Corin smiled at the woman and shook her hand as she laughed when Nimi ran off to play pirate with Arron following close behind him. The boy was yelling that the ship needed a plank so they could make Mike walk it since he was the birthday boy. Corin just shook her head. Looking at Mike she smiles more "I got something inside for you and it is driving me nuts with the Star Trek song." She wanted Mike to meet his bird before the party took off in full swing and she was not sure how many more might come.

"Oh.." Mike said with a blink when he heard something about walking the plank. "The pirates are teaming against me. I better go below." he said with a laugh. He raised an eyebrow at what Corin said, what in the world could be driving her crazy with a song? "Okay." he said.

He looked over at the two pirates. "Hey guys, we're going inside." he called out. He followed after Corin, remembering he needed to complete the plant robot for Nim before his birthday. The outside wasn't the hard part but the AI however was. He sure didn't want another AI like his rude perverted ball with legs.

He could hear the theme song now, in a kind of whistle. Now he was even more curious as to what it was.

“Yo, Matey! That’s a great idea!” Nim said, “Walk the plank, walk the plank. Let’s make everyone walk the plank cause they’re older.” He said, nodding. He had no idea how old he was so he considered himself to be young. But then he heard Mike say something about going inside. “Coming Mikey!” he said, he was getting up on stuff and came down. He ran after them. “Hey, when we get cake?” he asked, normally having a one track mind of sweets and food.

"Make the birthday boy walk the plank?" Alexandrea questioned, disbelieving. "That doesn't seem very nice..."

Everyone was heading inside and Alex followed with Morgan close behind. The Star Trek theme song could be heard in a whistle and Alex hurried her steps, anxious to meet another Trekkie.

She stopped inside the door briefly, even though an invitation had already been given, just to admire the boat's interior. "Corin, it's lovely. Did you decorate the place your self? It's so pleasant..."

She laughs as they walk into the main room "I had some help on this room." As they entered the bird in the corner said "Happy Birthday Mike." And then proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to Mike. Corin smiled and looked at her cousin to see his reaction to the bird.

Mike stared at the bird, "Wow." he said, so it had been the one singing. He petted the bird, "So you like Star Trek then?" he said. He wasn't sure what he would call the bird yet without getting to know it more. "Thank you Corin, this is great." he said, he never knew what kind of pet would suit him and anything with fur would get into his computer items he was sure. He wondered what else the bird would learn later.

He looked back at Nimmy, "Patience Nim, there will be sweets later I'm sure.." he said.

Nimrod followed after everyone, disappointed they weren’t getting to the sweets yet. There was going to be sweets right? Even if some of those here were vampies? There were more humans here. He stared wide eyed at the bird. “Pretty birdie.” He said. “Hey…Mikey, the birdie speaks…won’t mean robot teach it bad words?” he said.

Alexandrea grinned at Corin, "Well whomever it was who assisted you had exquisite taste. Perhaps you have a business card for them? I have several places that I need to have decorated."

A brightly coloured Parrot began to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Mike, and Alex and Morgan both joined in. After the singing, Morgan discreetly passed Nimmy a package of Fruit Rollups to tide him over until it was time for the cake and sweets.

Leaning close to Mike, Alexandrea whispered in his ear."Is your Cousin Corin seeing anyone? She seems quite nice and she's very lovely. My newest Childe, Alston, he's single and quite a looker. I think they would make a great couple."

Corin smiled at Alex and then looked to Nimi as Arron spoke to him. "There is a birthday cake, and ice cream, and a pin a ta(sp) that has loads of candy in it. Corin was not sure what kind of party to have so she got the pin a ta (sp) in the shape of a robot for us to wack around. She loaded it up with candy and everyone gets a take home bag of candy that can eat it. I know Corin is a vampire but she is so nice to me and keeps me safe from those who would hurt me."

The boy was full of words today. Corin looked at Alex as she spoke "Yes my decorator did good even if Arron does not like the pink in the state room. Poor boy. He does not mind though and has told me time and time again Real men wear pink." The boy nodded his head and looked around. He was just happy to have people over and meet new people then again so was Corin.

Mike blinked, Nim had a point. What if that robot did teach the bird bad words. "Maybe it is time to add a mute to him huh?" he said. He smiled, he couldn't remember the last time anyone sung happy birthday to him, let alone a birthday party. He wished grandpa could be here though.

He raised an eyebrow at Alex when she asked if Corin was single. Truthfully he had no idea. "I'm not sure.." he replied.

"A robot pinata? Oh Nim, I beat you haven't done that before." Mike said with a grin. "This shall be fun."
