Wolffyn nodded and smiled as Jonah agreed to accompany her and Winnie. She would like to repair their friendship. No matter what had gone down between the two of them, he had been one of her very first friends in town and not having a lot of friends, Wolffyn was loathe to part with any of them.

"Well let's go then! The night isn't going to last forever! I'll race you to the lake! Last one there gets dunked!"

With a chuckle, the redhead tore off in a blink of an eye. Using the wondrous power to run so fast that she couldn't even be seen by the naked eye. She already planned to jump in the water herself, and change into the fresh clothes she kept stashed in the shed. Throwing Jonah in after he arrived would be a great way to break the ice. Both between the two of them... and on the lake.

Jonah was surprised when she took off running and was only a few steps behind her as he used his own powers to keep up with her. Not knowing what lake she was talking about and her head start, it couldn't be helped that she got there first. Pulling up at the edge of the water, he looked around for her.

It was pretty there and the lake was frozen over and he was unsure what she had in mind for them to do. Wandering slowly, he called out to her. "Where'd you go?"

Jonah arrived a split second behind her, just as Wolffyn slipped into hiding. He must have remembered the way. Not that he hadn't been to the Lunar Lake Estates before, he had. And of course, where else would Winnie be? Wolffyn watched as Jonah looked around and asked her where she was.

She chuckled as she stepped out of the shadows behind the large man and before he could turn around, Wolffyn picked him up and through him towards the middle of the lake. The sound of the ice cracking was deafening, but the Killer just stood there on top of the lake. Not a drop water on him.

Wolffyn pouted a slight bit before jumping in herself, right beside her huge friend. The cheat must have gotten himself waterwalk. With a chuckle, Wolffyn wondered just how many powers they had overlapping now. But she'd ask Jonah about it later. Right now, she was on a mission to get the man all wet. First she splashed at him and then dove under, grabbing his feet from below the water and pulling on them as hard as she could.

Before the big killer knew what was going on, he found himself flying through the air. Twisting this way and that, he managed to get his heavy boots underneath him when he came down hard on the water. It felt like he hit solid concrete and he groaned as he tried to push himself to standing, chuckling as he did. She was strong, even stronger than he remembered, but at least he was dry.

"Gonna have to try harder than that," he called out but she was already diving in to the water and splashing at him. He tried to run but he couldn't get good traction on the slick surface and when her hands went around his ankles, he knew the jig was up and let himself fall deep in to the water, the weight dragging him all the way down to the bed.

As he fell, he grabbed out at her, not sure what he ended up getting a handful of, and tried to drag her down with him as he bubbled at her "Gotcha now."

The feisty redhead finally got some good leverage with her feet on a section of unbroken ice and with one good and final yank, Jonah finally followed her into the lake. The coldness of the water wasn't an issue for either vampire physically, but wet clothes can be heavy and hard to maneuver in. As Wolffyn twisted away to swim in the other direction, the Killer grabbed hold of a hand full of the back of her hoodie and held tight.

Unable to break free, the little Shadow shifted into her animal form and four miniature buzz-saws sprang to life on the restrictive wet clothing. Breaking free quickly, the Honey Badge swam for the opening in the ice and clawed her way on to the surface. She shook her fur off madly as she ran full speed towards the shed where her spare clothes were stashed. Wolffyn in her normal form loved the water. In her Badger form? Not so much.

Making some sort of mad huffing sounds, Wolffyn used Badger claws to pull open the door and dove head first into the folded up towel she always kept there. Nosing and rubbing around the dry cloth, the vampire focused on returning to her usual body. And as paws became hands, Wolffyn was dried and dressed in less than a minute. Rubbing the last of the dampness from her hair, she went back outside to look for Jonah.

She didn't see him at first, and wondered if he was still swimming or was hiding someplace to get even. "Need a towel?" Wolffyn asked the lake as she glanced around, eyes looking for the rather hard to misplace Killer...

He held her tight until suddenly, there wasn't enough of her to hold and the little he could touch was full of claws and hate. The wounds didn't do any permanent damage but they weren't enjoyable either and soon the furry little beast was hastily swimming away from him.

Now that he was under the water, his weight made it easy for him to stand at the bottom of the pond and he waited, the waiting made easy by the fact that he did not have to breathe. So much water separating him from the redhead, he had no way of knowing that she was calling for him but he counted down in his head, trying to figure out how much time it would take for her to run away and then come back, wondering where he was.

Kneeling down further, his powerful legs launched him up and out of the water, sending a massive wave on to the shore. He eyed where the woman was and tried to land near her, his massive frame colliding with the ground and sending shockwaves in the surrounding area. "Got you now."

One moment Wolffyn was standing there in dry clothes holding out a nice clean towel for Jonah and the next she was splashing along as a truckload of water dumped on her from the tidal wave the huge killer had summoned forth by virtue of his sheer mass alone.

Spitting out the water and a mouth full of her own hair, the redhead didn't even have time to b*tch about it before she was planted firmly on her tail side from the earthquake Jonah had caused when he landed on the ground.

She rolled her eyes at him when he claimed he had 'got her now' and jumped up to her feet quickly, slapping the killer with the now soaking wet towel after tying a knot into one end of it. "Got me? You think you got me??? Hah! You overgrown brat, I got YOU!"

Wolffyn swatted at him a few times before jumping out of reach and making as many snowballs as fast as she could, throwing them at Jonah one after the other. "See if I offer you any more dry towels!"

Laughing at her friend, Wolffyn make the earth shake herself, although she used her Mystic abilities and not her somewhat less substantial body mass. As the ground shook, she continued the onslaught on wet icy missiles.

The soaking cloth cracked against his cheek, opening a wound that healed almost instantly. Thundering snaps caught him all over that left raised welts for an instant. It was little more than an annoyance but it was enough to keep him back away from her.

The pain was soon replaced by icy cold as she flung snowballs at him. Keeping his hands over his face, he lost sight of her and soon lost his footing when she added an earthquake in to the mix. This was not going wel for him at all but he couldn't help but chcukle.

Already on the ground, he flipped himself over and let his nails propel him in to the ground, away from her assault. Burrowing forward, he tried to sense where she was and reached out with a pale hand, latching on to her foot and pulling her down to the ground as he pulled himself up and out.

"Yep, got you."

She was sure she got him good a few times, perhaps venting a little pent up hostility that had been long buried in the process. Her mood was playful though and her laughter as her friend fell was completely good-natured.

The last thing she expected next was for the large killer to dig a hole to hide in. But the redhead's confusion was short lived when she saw the snow on the earth, between where Jonah and gone under and where she was standing, start to shake with movement from below the ground. Figuring what was coming, Wolffyn got ready to jump.

She was a hair too slow, waiting until the last second to tease him had cost her. She covered her face with her hands but bits and pieces of roots and dirt still managed to find a way into her mouth. Wolffyn was spitting out the unwelcome snack when her opponent declared victory over her.

"Oh, really? You think so do you?" The Shadows murmured under her breath and vanished into the shadows, while also blocking out the ability of anyone to track her for the rest of the day. Wolffyn pressed against the side of the tunnel Jonah has dug and waited.

Before he could do much of anything, she was gone. The killer had many skills but tracking people down was not one of them, so he did not bother. She had the advantage over him since she could see him and he couldn't see her. There was only one thing to do. A last ditch effort that his kind was normally unwilling to do, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

Clambering out of the hole, he held his hands up, "Truce?" He watched and waited for her to appear, wondering if she would try something and not sure which outcome he wanted, their play fight to continue or to simply relax with his friend. It felt strange to think of her as such after so many things had happened, but he honestly considered her one, especially since they had just tumbled around like two giant children.
