Leiren had of course been apart of Amaranthia's Halloween festivities in the planning stages, thoughts and ideas, and she'd happily helped with the security measures, but of course she didn't know if she actually wanted to participate. Wolfgang wasn't really.. around? Responding to her? She'd been wondering where he'd left too for a bit now, but she wouldn't blow up his phone, mind, emails, or stalk him. After all, it wasn't the first time one of them had disappeared, its just last time it was her. To the shadow realm, which she knew he wasn't there.

When, however, she saw Enver's booth she pursed her lips slightly, furrowed her brow, and stepped up to him. "Nice to see you having fun, Enver," she said a bit sad in her tone. It was obvious that her heart was heavy the longer Wolf was gone, but she was trying. Trying counted. "Mind if I take a shot? I got your ten bucks right here." She put her hand forward and put the money in front of him. "Maybe you'll prove just how bad my luck truly is right now," she laughed the words slightly. "Or maybe break the curse. You are such a charmer perhaps you can convince lady luck to smile upon me."

After seeing how the bidding was going for the readings she was offering, Zodiac began to explore the rest of the event. Mingling, smiles, encouraging others and checking on the 'items' of interest she was curious of as well while placing business cards in hands as she worked the crowd. Amaranthia had went all out, as usual, for this. She made a mental note to corner the reclusive woman before she slipped into hiding again. Too seldom did she get the chance to talk to her much nowdays.

As she looked about, two things caught her eye. One was Leiren. Another recluse suddenly standing in public. When was the last time she had seen her about? She thought about it for a moment and recalled it was the night the Wolf was finally collared. It was her private joke on the subject. Had to be the strangest binding she had done yet.

The second thing was what Leiren was standing in front of. A kissing booth?

"Oh good goddess!" she laughed in silence. Amara had to be kidding with this. She stepped closer and inspected the list of 'prizes' she could win based on a spin of the wheel then looked at the 'kisser' inside the booth. Enver? "Oh this just gets better and better." she rolled her eyes.

On impulse, she stepped behind Leiren and playfully poked her in the sides, then leaned around to look at Enver as she held up a ten spot.

"Me next after Leir! And if that wheel lands on you kissing me, you best knock my socks off with it." she teased.

After Amaranthia skedaddled somewhere to do something for the event, Enver was left alone and to his own demise. The male sat on the table, his arms crossed at his chest as time passed by. All in all, the night was going pretty good, even if it had just started.

A face he had seen once or twice appeared and caused his lips to curl up in a slow, lazy smile as she started talking. He listened, his eyes on her and the way she was dressed, what she wore and anything else that might stick out to him. By the time her spoken thoughts had ended, Enver's lazy smile had vanished as a hand went out to money, as if to take it, but he didn't. Instead, he pushed the money deeper in to her palm with the hand, the other went to his own wallet as he pulled a ten out and put it in the jar. "it's on me." He winked at the woman he had sort of been on a date with at one point, before the woman that would be his ex-wife interrupted it in her roundabout way. "Way I see it, you get a free spin and no matter what happens, your luck's already been changed. If you win big, your luck's changed significantly. If you don't win much of anything, you still got to keep your ten bucks." Ten bucks to Enver wasn't much of anything, but for her, it could be a lot.

"So go ahead and give it a whirl, beautiful."
He gave her a wink, the male still sitting on the table as his eyes moved to the wheel. He didn't really mean anything by it, the truth was, Enver was just trying to lift her spirits in a few ways and was feeling around for ways he could do that.

Then came along Zodiac. Yeah, he knew of her. She'd done his wedding thing of sorts. The male cleared his throat when he saw that she seemed adamant on sticking around. Especially with the ten in her hand. A grin pulled on his face when he heard what she said, but he hoped he wouldn't be put in that predicament. It'd be rather awkward. The male wouldn't express that thought, verbally, or visually, because that would just be bad business all around. "Aren't our encounters always rememberable, Zodiac?" He countered with a cheeky grin, the male finally pushing off the table as he moved closer to the wheel, waiting for Leiren to make her move.

Leiren actually smiled at Enver, even if it was brief, it was true, and though she didn't need the ten prolly any more then he did, the simple gesture was a sign of something. Perhaps Enver really could change her luck. "Oh my, thank you Enver that is very nice of you. Though if you do that for all the ladies, you might soon go for broke," she giggled. She knew that wasn't going to happen, but that was more of a internal feeling then anything she knew about his finances.

When she wasn't expecting anything to happen she felt Zodiac poke her and jumped slightly, though she didn't pull any sort of mind-melty-powers to the for front. She even managed a "Hi Zo," which for Leir was good because she really didn't 'startle' well. In fact it was why she refused to go to haunted houses now days. A whole bunch of harmed humans in a small space with tons of people going through was a bad idea.

Leiren stepped up to the wheel and spun it around, watching it click on the pegs as it decided her fate. She actually wasn't too sure about this now that she'd done it. If he was a kiss she'd feel she'd have to decline, but she'd feel bad to decline when she willingly played the game. As it spun around and around she could feel herself getting more nervous.

Then it stopped.

She looked up at the wheel and saw she'd won $500. "Oh hey look at that! Maybe you really can seduce lady luck, Enver. Better be careful if he can Zo, he might actually sweep you off your feet and knock those cute witchy boots off you," again she smiled, a true honest smile, and it felt like maybe, just maybe, the world wasn't so bad right now.

Last year she'd walked around the city, observing the traditions and ended up gate crashing a party. The year before that she'd stayed in her home. This year she had been invited to something charity related and while she did in fact have a plan to honour Nox and Helios later that evening, she was free for now. She had arrived at the event a little early and so slipped into shadows. While she didn't like crowds and likely wouldn't stay long, she did want to see what the event was all about. She stuck to the fringes of the room, using the shadows to hide herself away from anyone that might see her. She found it harder to see the truth of people when they could react to her presence and so using her innate powers to remain hidden came in handy in situations like this one.

From her vantage point she soon witnessed another side to someone she thought she knew. She knew he was an allurist and could likely charm the birds from the tree if he tried and yet it was a side of him she'd never seen as he was always so calm and proper around her. Of course she'd seen his cheeky grin and surmised that there was a playful side to Enver that he fought to hide but looking at him now he seemed quite in his element, flirting with the women that came to play his game. His attire too was different this day. She'd seen him in a more casual style of dress before but nothing quite this informal. If she discounted the time he was attacked by a paladin and had to remove his shirt, revealing the tank top beneath that was. The look suited him and she began to wonder if perhaps his personality was directly tied to the outfit he wore; the suit meant he had to be business like, while jeans meant he was ready for fun.

She watched a few people come and go as she wasn't in any real hurry, however it did seem that the place was filling up and that put her a little on edge. She wasn't sure exactly how long she'd been in shadows either and was starting to feel more exposed even though no-one was looking at her. In order to make sure that she didn't make a spectacle of herself she disappeared off to the bathroom, missing the next couple of contestants that tested their luck and took their chance at the wheel. If and when she was satisfied that she was visible once more, she'd make her way over to her friend and offer to support the cause, even if all the prizes on offer made her a little uncomfortable. The idea of taking money from him didn't sit right with her, neither did the more playful and violent options on the board and she didn't even want to think of the possibility that it might land on the one option that required intimate contact. Despite her reservations about the game, she'd spin the wheel nonetheless, as there was no other reason to approach him, other than to support the cause...whatever that might be.

She cocked her head as she watched the wheel spinning around and clapped as Leiren apparently won a prize. Zodiac listened as the woman spoke and returned the smile. She liked seeing real smiles on people and something told her Leiren did not wear a real one too often for some reason she could not fathom. Rather than question the issue, she smiled more at the woman's comments as she stepped up to the booth and dropped her 10 dollars.

She glanced behind her and saw a woman she had never seen before waiting in line.
"Now this one would have a story, I bet," she kept her thoughts to herself. A bit of appraising and she blinked and turned her attention back to Enver and his wheel. "Oh crap! An ancient!" Normally she did her best to avoid them. Mostly out of respect, but she had also seen what some of the originals could do. Zodiac had no desire to piss off an entire bloodline. She managed that once, and that was enough for the little gypsy. "Please don't be mad at me." she worried now. She swallowed and reached up to grab the handle on the wheel.

"Wheel of Morality, Turn, turn, turn, and tell us the lesson that we must learn." she smirked as she spun the wheel, occasionally glancing back at the woman behind her as it rolled around.

He saw Leiren smile and he was glad for it. She seemed a gentle soul from their "date" together and someone Enver regretted losing contact with over the last year or so. "You should do that more often. Suits you nicely, Leiren." It would be the last flirty thing he'd say to her, because he didn't need to get her to smile anymore. And she was here at the wheel. After all, this was why he was here, right? To get money for Amaranthia's charity, even if he had to flirt the pants off someone. No one wanted to kiss a guy who didn't look like he wasn't having fun or wanted to give anyone the time of night.

When he saw the result, he was pleased. Five hundred bucks wasn't bad to walk away with, when she didn't spend a dime, in his books. "You spun it. The lucks all on you, beautiful." He nodded, pulled out his wallet and handed Leiren her well earned prize. His grin faltered just a little bit when Leiren suggested the possibility of him and Zodiac kissing, the man catching it before anyone saw it (or so he hoped). Again, he laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "Never know. Lady luck has been pretty good to everyone who has stopped by so far." He waggled his brows at Zodiac, putting on a good show for her and even for Leiren before his eyes once again searched the crowd of people, where he noticed more and more people coming in. He stepped back from the wheel for two reasons; to collect the ten bucks from the ritualist who came to his wheel and to give Zodiac her chance at spinning it, and to give him a better view of things going around the room. He wasn't sure if she was coming and if she was, if she'd stick around, and had thought about emailing her or texting her, but Enver didn't want to be rude to the people who were counting on him in one aspect or another.

Zodiac watched the wheel going round with mixed interest. In her youth she worked with people who ran games of chance and learned how to spot when the game was rigged or not. So far, not a wobble or a wiggle to say the wheel was off balanced or made to slow in a particular revolution. Everything seemed on the up and up, as she would expect from anything Amaranthia was doing.

The finally slowed down and caught on a final spot.

Ten.

She blinked.

No...
Flipping...
Way...

She blinked again. It still said ten.

She looked at Enver and wondered which one of them felt more ill at the moment. With a smile, she reached into her purse and pulled out her lipstick and gave her lips a fresh coat of Purple Passion. She fluttered her eyes and took a step towards Enver while motioning with her finger for him to come closer. Before he had a chance to move, she leapt forward and knocked him flat onto his back and straddled him. She grabbed his ears and grinned.

"Face it, cutie-pie" She looked down at him. "Tonight all your dreams come true." she whispered to his thoughts as her lips found his.

He couldn't believe it. He looked at the woman, then at the wheel and back at the woman. Was he in some form of vampire hell? Enver looked around the room uncomfortably then, missing the fact Zodiac had put on some lipstick until it was too late.

She was a wild animal!
Maybe he put the charm on a little too thick and there was a lesson to be learned here. Zodiac had him on the ground before he could even announce her prize or try and give her a kiss that was quick, polite and kept him going for the night. "Uh-" Enver started as her legs ended up on each side of him, hands on both of his ears before the devil woman was thinking in his head.

She was being a good sport about it, knowing neither one of them had any positive history with the other. Part of him wondered if paths couldn't blend together and if they could, if she didn't have some allurist tendencies in her with her sudden burst of energy and excitement. He chuckled, gave a wayward shrug just about the time he felt her lips on his. Awkward didn't even describe it, as this was the woman that did his binding almost a year ago and now here they were lip locked. Well, not for too long if he had his way.

Enver returned her kiss, as if it were some form of a silent challenge to the dark haired woman, his hands pressing firmly on her back, as if he wanted to keep her there and enjoyed kissing her. It wasn't as if she was a bad kisser, but he put Zodiac at about the same level as Lia. Women with too much power of the ritual kind and that didn't do anyone any good from his personal experience. At the first chance he could get, Enver broke the kiss, slowly, then winked up at Zodiac. "See you later tonight, good looking." He chuckled then sat up, hands still on her back as they sat face to face now, a cheeky grin locked on his face.

"Oh really now?" she smirked as Enver told her that he would see her later. "Gonna dream about me tonight then or something? Envision me in black and violet. Most say I look best in those colors."

Zodiac tossed back her head and held up her arms as if she just had won a pro wrestling match and been declared the world champion, then climbed off of him while offering him a hand up with a smile. He wasn't bad. Though she preferred the softer kiss of her own sex by far, he wasn't bad. Anyway, it was for charity and all that. Hell, he could have bit her face or something. Granted, she had considered doing the same for a second there.

"You liked it and you know it," she teased and winked good naturedly. She stepped back and accidentally bumped into the ancient waiting behind her. She made gestures of apology to the woman quickly then inclined her head to the lady before she grinned.

"You may want to give Enver a few moments to recover," her mindspeak softly touching the woman's thoughts. "My kisses can be somewhat intense, so he'll need a few seconds and all, and then he will be able to help you. Maybe." she smiled brightly and waved before moving off into the crowd to see what else of interest was waiting for her to discover here.
