I used my biter link to refer someone and they recently reached level 10, but I wasn't awarded the 5 karma.

I think it actually hits when they hit level 11 if I recall correctly?

The karma shop is working again but sure, anything is possible. Have the facebook shares been paying out? I didn't really pay attention on my last one... >.>

Yes, they have!
Very handsomely too when your FB share day is Tuesdays and the latest bonus experience day was on a Tuesday :D

ETA - They were as well when the Karma shop was down last week.

I'm honestly not sure. I don't know what the limit is, and how many referrals I've made over the years. Not a lot, but I couldn't give you an exact number.
