A new system has been added to the forum today, which allows players to join match-made roleplay threads with other characters. These threads also have a randomly generated story outline, which serve to mix up the types of interactions your character will have with others, as well as mixing up the identities of those you role play with.
To create a new matchmaking thread, go to any of the main roleplay boards and click the link to make a new story. Alternatively, click here.
You may re-roll the generated story as many times as you wish in order to find an interesting story outline, and we'll be adding more content to this system soon, in order to make sure the variation of match-made stories remains diverse. Once you have found a story you like, you can also set other rules of the thread, such as the minimum and maximum words per post count, and the desired speed of replies.
Clicking the "create" button will create the story on the matchmaking database, and then people can join the story. Once the story has the required number of characters, the thread will automatically be created on the Hardcore Roleplay forum. All posts on these threads give three times the usual RPP.
Please note that these threads are closed to all but the named characters.
