Enver: Enver had finished with the things he needed to do for the night, then weighed his options. He could try and meet up with Mortll tonight, or tomorrow, but who knew what might happen in the crazy city of Harper Rock? Tonight would be better. He grabbed the card she gave him, dialed the number and waited as it rang.
Mortll: It never failed that when she was elbow deep in **** the phone would ring. She peeled off the glove and wiped a stray hair from her forehead. She fished the phone out of her pocket "Hello ?"
Enver: If Mortll hadn't answered, Enver might have been relieved. He was still a little on edge about this entire ordeal, but if she was genuine, there could be some genuine progress on a lot of fronts. “Evening Mortll. It's Enver. Was wondering if you're free tonight. If not, there's tomorrow.”
Mortll: "I'm working in my Green house I can take a break and give you a tour and we can talk ... Not allergic to anything are you ? Some of these vampires seem to be endlessly cursed with ailments to toxins such as Pollen "
Enver: “No allergies that I'm aware of.” He assured her, not caring where they met up, or if she was in the middle of something and needed to work at the same time. “Don't stop on my account. With work that is. You women seem better at the multitasking thing than us men. I know you'll hear me out.” He chuckled into the phone. “Give me about twenty minutes and I'll see you at Jardin, was it?”
Mortll: "Yes sir not too far from your theater
Enver: "Alright. See you then." Enver hung up his phone and grabbed his charcoal colored suit coat and threw it over a light purple button down. He collected two sets of handguns he made himself, and put one in the holster around his shoulders, then buttoned his suit coat up. "Miss Knight. Heading out for the night. If things go south, you know what to do." He buzzed into her desk intercom, before swiping his keys off his desk and going for his grey Spyder and heading to where his GPS told him where to go. Once there, he locked the car, stuffed the keys in his pants pocket and headed inside Jardin. After he cleared his throat, Enver called out cautiously for the woman of the hour. "Mortll?"
Mortll: Mortll had at least ditched the compost covered work gloves and washed her hands she was still in a pair of faded jeans and a white t shirt and her work boots she was looking very farm girl today with her hair pulled back into a pony tail. She came down the stairs to the top floor "Hello Mr Marshall. " She looked over his suit as she offered her hand " Come on upstairs. I've built a fire in the green house and there is a comfortable spot up there. Is there anything you want to drink before we head up? We have a nice assortment at the bar here though it is a bit gauged to the Ladies social club than it is hard drinkers "
Enver: He cocked his head to the right when he saw her, having only seen her in dresses and the like every time they encountered the other. He waited until she was done, then shook his head. “No, thank you. And I think we can get past the formal names, yeah? Just Enver suits, especially since Mr. Marshall was my dad.” He chuckled and winked at her as he followed her upstairs. “How you doing tonight?” He asked, then changed his mind. “If you have some water, or black coffee, I'd almost kill for either of those. Mostly the coffee bit.” He grinned at the confession.
Mortll: Mortll fished out her phone and Told Jane to brew a pot of coffee and deliver it to the Greenhouse " I hope you don't mind a little dirt Enver. The greenhouse is full of it but its one of the more interesting places in here. So few get to ever see it " Mortll wasn't lying there were but just a fraction of the inventory of plants and flowers that she actually had on display in the shop. Mortll opened the door at the back of the top floor to rows and rows of plants Other rooms lead off to the side with various environments . "After you Mr . Ummm Enver.”
Enver: “Believe it or not, I get my hands dirty a lot. I tend to do a lot of the handy work in the places I own. I found I could pay someone to do a half *** job for a lot of money, or just do it myself and save twenty or thirty bucks an hour and get it done right.” Enver said with a shrug of his shoulders. “Typically, flowers are a nice thing to give, or get. But...” Enver cleared his throat. “Bullets and stab wounds aren't.” He finished, wondering how Mortll could be into creating life, while taking it away at the same time.
Mortll: Mortll eyed him “life is but a cycle Enver Everything that dies is reborn somehow Even us ." She walked him through the green house to the back where the fireplace was lit and there were a couple of rocking chairs sitting in front of it. Jane had already been in and a pot of coffee was sitting on the table in between them.
Enver: “Poetic.” Enver commented with a nod of his head, then glanced at the coffee pot as he moved to a chair in front of the fireplace. “I have to admit, I never thought we'd be here. Sitting here, talking...politics, I guess. Or the change of things.” He grabbed a mug and poured himself a cup of coffee, then looked at her. “Coffee?”
Mortll: "No thanks I can't ... Only one thing i can ingest now days is blood i havent eaten or drank anything in years Though i did get quite good at making people think i did for the longest " She smiled " So what do you want to know about what i believe Enver " the name felt strange on her tongue she had thought of him as Mr Marshall for so long and it was taking a conscious effort to not do so now .
Enver: “I don't really eat much, unless out in public venues. There's no point. I don't really crave anything, or have a genuine appetite.” He stated with a shrug of his shoulders, before bringing the cup of coffee to his lips and taking a long sip as he thought about what he wanted to know. “Well, I guess it's not so much what you believe, but what you're going to do. I'm aware you've been fighting some internal battles with those Disciple dicks, Helheim guys and then the other things that aren't vampires.” He shrugged his shoulders. “Which means you own some parts of the city, by default. So now that you've got them, what are you going to do with them? More so, what's the point of fighting the good fight, so to speak, if you're not doing anything with what you've won?”
Mortll: Mortll took in what he was saying then she had to think a moment before she answered " I own nothing the people who bought the shops work their jobs and put their sweat and worries into every single neighborhood own those places. I'm not the type of person that believes that running some shitty gang out of a neighborhood gives me any rights to what other people have put their money and lives into. I own Nothing i just make sure that some supernatural **** heads don’t go making trouble for the people that Do i guess .
Enver: He listened and then frowned, before adjusting how he sat. “So you're fighting to keep the people safe from 'shitty gangs,' was it?” he nodded, thinking he understood. “Okay. So you're keeping other supernatural things at bay in these areas, I'm guessing?”
Mortll: "Pretty much If we let supernatural beings just run amok in the city what good would it be and to be honest ... I am a vampire i can't say im a saint or passive i have destructive tendencies ... I do enjoy killing things as you probably know ... my true secret is i like seeing things come to life and live as well ... i dont know how much of a secret it is.” she gestured towards the plants .... I just dont think people realize that it isn't just plants ."
Enver: Enver nodded his head, then pondered what she had to say. Either what she was potentially hinting at went over his head, or he chose to ignore it for now. "So, you're a closet case peace keeper?" He chuckled then set the cup down and held up both his hands. "Kidding." He rescinded the claim, before pinching the bridge of his nose. "So, then what is it you believe in, or hope to see for the future? Because right now, Harper Rock is kind of going to ****." He admitted openly, not sure if he cared or not anymore. Not since he had a refuge that he could escape to.
Mortll: Mortll had to laugh " Since when is that new? Harper Rock has been going to **** since the Elders came back they went crazy trying to recoup make sure the species and themselves didn't perish again. The life of a vampire tends to take out the weak if you haven't noticed ... Many have sub-come to the void to never come back its not a game for the weak. Time takes care of those that can't handle it or abuse it. Im not worried about them in the long run. What im worried about is What happens when the rest of the world come in on us like the plague . Its happening I'm no fan of the Paladins. They have tried to kill me on several occasions I don't think their minds will ever be swayed its just their personalities so i do not focus on them ... except the ones that approach me and act like decent people ... People like Amalea that work with us and many others I work with where as a few years ago that would have been impossible for me . I think Enzo was on the right track with his promotions and Making us public a lot of your views were the same i think ."
Enver: Enzo wasn't a name Enver was familiar with, he'd have to try and look him up later, if he could. Someone who thought along the same lines of him was someone Enver wanted to know, because the guy was probably working against the grain too with whatever he was trying to do. “You'll have to give me his contact details. Always glad to work with someone who is on the right page.” Enver said, picking the coffee back up again and taking a long sip of it. “So, Enzo and I were on the right track, as you've admitted. You have shops and other places you own that I'm not even aware of, what are you going to do with what is yours on a smaller scale? Events is a good place to start, Mortll.” Enver said with a shrug of his shoulders.
Mortll: Mortll just shook her head "For a vampire you have a shitty memory Enver. Do you remember Dragonal and the event that was thrown at Jardin De Fluers all the press was there . You were one of The guest attractions . Lorenzo Vaughn Dragomir Head CEO . My long lost husband that disappeared over a year ago and Is now my Ex Husband ." She looked at him leavly " The Paladins are probably the reason he has disappeared and the Catholic church but that is a rabbit hole i dont care to crawl into after him he made his choices " she paused "I'm not like you Enver or Enzo you both are the alluring type yes i can pass for human and ive worked hard to learn the skills and talents necessary not to freak people out with my necromancer ways and i am quite aware that i see things and stuff that other people can't ... So me in the public eye on a regular basis other than of our kind that understand these things is not a grand idea . I need someone like yourself or a real people person to put a front or a face to my endeavors "
Enver: Lorenzo, Enzo. Right. Enver just nodded his head and then chuckled. “Well, when you've been shot in the head as many times as I have, I'm sure it's bound to take it's toll.” Enver said dryly, trying tp push past the comment of a shitty memory. Disappearing ex's; Enver was wondering if that was a trend, or if someone should be concerned about all the disappearing other halves in the city. “I beg to differ.” Enver stated bluntly after putting his coffee cup down. “Only showing the best of our kind, isn't going to win people over in the long run, Mortll. People don't like being lied to, so if all the Enzo's and others like him in the world are the only one's showing face and they find out a year later that there are those that are a little...different based off their path, they're going to feel lied to. It's a team effort on behalf all us vampires, not just a certain group or subset.” He shook his head, wondering why everyone wanted to remain in the shadows, even after the masq had been dropped so long ago.

Re: The Pecularities of Business
Mortll: " Enver ... Do you know why Vampires hang out in dark places where there is muted lighting You really should by now ... Before i gained the special talent of appearing normal in bright lights i avoided them. Because quite frankly i looked like a corpse whenever bright lights shown on me. Now most vampires know that they scare the **** out of people just because of how they sometimes look you arent going to change that They have to lie or humans freak ... they don't accept different Different even of their own they have to be around for ages to accept they don't just readily accept at first So this is going to be a long battle we have to show the best at first We have to show them our shiny ones before we shove the hunchback of notre dame out of the shadows at them .."
Enver: “Yeah, well if someone got a real good look of me in a mirror, I'd not be considered shiny anymore.” Enver chuckled and then shrugged his shoulders. “So, you need an Allurist, but you seem to be short an ex-husband. No offense intended there Mortll, just stating the obvious.” He finished off his coffee and then tugged at his tie. “What about a thrall, or employee? Have an event and make then run it from the perception of the populace, while you're really running the show.” He suggested
, before chuckling. “We fall back an hour soon. Why not throw an impromptu party highlighting how fun night can be, even with vampires on the street?” He suggested with a wide smirk.
Mortll: "Good lord im not all powerful OZ or something i have one thrall .... I was teaching the ***** to shoot and she shot me .... Im not good with thralls . They would be the end of me . Im not the most friendly person Enver ... ive been accused of putting up walls and more than one person has told me im extremely hard to get to know. You get told things like that enough you figure out Its probably a wee bit true ." She gave a little smile "I once threw a Ugly sweater Christmas party that a total of 3 people showed up to ... Events arent my strong point. Now helping with and supporting Is more my style. "
Enver: A hand went to the bridge of his nose, as Enver took a deep breath in. “Okay, so you don't think you're pretty, or rather shiny enough to bring people in. Your thrall sounds as capable as my own...” He trailed off and snorted. “So, you are looking for an Allurist. Alexandrea seems to be winning people over lately.” He suggested, then thought of a few more. “I know a couple other Allurists...one would charm the sweater off anyone.” He admitted with a **** eating grin. “Unless you've got some allurists in mind, which then, ignore my suggestions, and let's focus on events.” He offered.
Mortll: "Dear god I dont know if i could handle another allurist but i would work with one and promoting our kind has been on my mind ... but im thinking much smaller and bigger at the same time ... See Tv and Entertainment events are for The Rich its nice to have the Rich in your pocket ... But its even better to have the middle class everyday people backing you .... Im starting to think we have a large base of vampire owned business in this city. Finding a way to more quietly promote that ... i know that sounds odd .... We dont want a they are running everything vibe going on ... But a Hey they are regular working joes vibe they are industry and We like having jobs thing going on .
Enver: Enver listened and nodded his head. There were more middle class people in the world, than rich, so she had a good mindset. "Sounds like a good start. So how would we go about promoting vampire businesses without shoving it down people's throat's that we have vampire businesses?" He asked, since it seemed secrecy still needed to be a thing for some, if not most.
Mortll: "Well to be honest i havnt figured out what yet Something as simple and small at first "We need news coverage of our business donating to charities . Maybe a charitable foundation with a shiny front man The Marshall foundation has a nice ring to it ... get a human CEO ... and coordinate it with local vampire business to have charitable events that Do good things in city. We could found a children hospital to Maybe we should talk to Mr Groom about that. Be totally invasive with charity and good deeds Thats going to be must. That is a start but getting it viewed as all vampires is going to be the challenge Right now we are going to have to work on not all vampires are just out for your blood ."
Enver: He listened and nodded his head. They weren't bad places to start. "I don't know Mr. Groom, but do you think after last month, people will trust vampires with their kids?" He asked, then shrugged. "But charitable things are definitely a good place to start."
Mortll: Mortll laughed Desperate people do desperate things these people are desperate for help for their children. As long as they have the best Doctors possible for Free they arent going to turn it down. We will have to become the St Judes of the North. They might not want a Vampire touching their child but they wont be opposed to vampire paying for it "She paused
Enver: He rubbed at his chin, deep in thought, before nodding. "You might be right. If it's free or cheap, and good care, people might not care...the exception being more human workers on staff than vampires.." He poured another cup. "I'm assuming your friend is a vampire. The fact he's not very public might work in his, our favor. It's a good start, with potential, Mortll. Just got to follow through with it."
Mortll: "Before this **** storm happened i learned something new I hve childe that i had to end up turning I had learned a new power i was able to cure wounds on vampires and the thought was i had to test my powers out to see if i could heal humans even if they were dying of cancer . Yes i know a stretch but if that were possible. Vampires would literally become saints ...and not something to be obliterated from the earth. To bad it didn't work for him or me ... well all of us. I didn't let him die but one of my biggest worries is if they develop this cure and force it on him. His cancer will kill him then. Im not the only person that has turned dying people like that "
Enver: Enver took a long swig of his coffee. "Do you think the cure is even real? I was there. Trying to protect it." He admitted honestly. "Broke into the lab. Never saw a sign of it. There were fires and everyone was moving around hastily. I imagine if there was a cure, the people managed to destroy it." He grumbled that last bit. "Guess we'll never know what could have been."
Mortll: "They had something ... Thing about it is they wont stop trying .. If they thought they had done it once they will try again. Its not the end . So we know what they are trying to do... We just need to be better prepared for it .
Enver: He nodded. Mortll probably didn't want the cure, and that was cool. But enver did. Only he wouldn't let on about that fact. "So, who we donating to first? Yes, we." Enver said evenly
llora55: Well im thinking about buying a house a large one near the hospital ... Call it the Little Monsters house Yes i know the name will give hesitation at first but it will basically be for People with sick children that need a place to stay. But the Name is purposefull. It being founded by us.
Mortll: Well im thinking about buying a house a large one near the hospital ... Call it the Little Monsters house Yes i know the name will give hesitation at first but it will basically be for People with sick children that need a place to stay. But the Name is purposeful. It being founded by us.
Enver: Enver gave it some thought as he rubbed at his chin. "Hmmm." The name might throw some people off, but her intentions were good. "I know a guy. A lawyer on my payroll. Before you.... and whoever else progresses with this endeavor of yours. Not that it's a bad idea, but we want to make sure our asses are covered." He took another few swallows of dark, warm liquid.
Mortll: Well yeah i wont go into it without the proper looking into It dosnt pay to be dumb in business matters. I wouldn’t have so many if i were. You should do some promotions at the Movie theater.
Enver: "Maybe." he said with a nod of his head, before looking at her. "What sort were you thinking?" He asked, not sure if they thought the same way in terms of promotions.
Mortll: Lol as awfull as it sounds Twilight Or any of those sappy vampire love stories
Enver: Enver raised a high brow and then blinked. "Uh." He chuckled. "Those movies are ****, and we both know it. Find me a good one, and I'll think about it." He promised before chuckling.
Mortll: Yes we both know it but there are people that love them Romanticize vampires think they are cool to let live by them we need to become the Cullens in their eyes . Hell Make a good one you have those capabilities. Enver Marshall Producer and Director. She raised a eyebrow as she looked at him.
Enver: "Huh." Enver blinked, thinking about it. Directing he probably could do, but making up a script? Enver hadn't ever thought about that before. "That'll take some time, unless we want it looking like something from the fifties or sixties." He chuckled, thinking of all the old C grade movies [at best] he had seen growing up. "Let's make a deal. You get your hospital for kid's up and running and I'll get to work whipping something up." He winked at her as he finished his second cup of coffee.
Mortll: "Dont say it lightly ive been known to take a good challenge ."And i will hold you to it.”
Enver: He snorted and scoffed a little. “I've got the means to make a movie and I'm confident I could direct it. All I need is a script, and let's be frank, my life could be a mo-wait. It already sort of is.” He chuckled and raised both his hands. “I'll figure something out, if you get your *** moving and not just making it, but publicly making it. Grand Opening. Posters, radio ads, tv ads too. The whole nine yards. We got a deal?”
Mortll: You need to find your young good looking hero that makes the teenagers scream and swoon…
Enver: "Got anyone in mind?" He gave her a sidelong glance with a smirk that came with it. Enver was always open for suggestions that were good. It meant less work on his end.
Mortll: "Dont look at me i dont like the young ones Enzo was a streatch for me if he hadnt been so charming and took the trouble to get to know me as well as he did i would have never even looked at him as a potential mate ... I tend to date guys that are more mature but with vampires being what they are now looks and maturity are going to be harder to tell apart ... Lets just say i like a more distinguished look on a male.”
Enver: "Thought maybe you might have a childe waiting to make a big debut." Enver said with a chuckle, at both what he said and what she said. "Alright. Well, I've no problem doing a casting call, but still waiting to hear if we've got ourselves a deal, Mortll. You do your kid's hospital and do it right-I'm willing to help there if needed, and I'll give you some movie that puts Twilight to shame." He extended his right, free hand, waiting for her to go for it, or shut it down with a shake or refusal of a shake.
Mortll: Mortll grasped his hand and gave it a firm shake "Ok you got a Deal."
Enver: completed the handshake with his own firm grasp, then pulled back before either of them got weirded out. Again, who the hell would have thought that they'd be sitting here striking up a business deal of sorts? But, it was too good of a one to pass up. Even if his movie flopped, the end result was a kid's hospital that specialized in all things kids. And with him having a daughter, it was as much a business deal as it was a personal deal too. The kind he liked to make the most of. “Deal. Let me know when you get the building and I'm your man with getting people coming at you for any and all events.”

Re: The Pecularities of Business
Enver: Enver was running late, which was unusual for him. He liked being to any event a few minutes early, because it set the precedent. But, tonight, it had been out of his hands. He arrived at the designated location, glanced around but didn't see Mortll. That wasn't to say she wasn't there, the place was just busy for the middle of the week. It must have some damn good food or drinks, he thought to himself, before he looked at the matre de and cleared his throat. "Hi. I'm meeting someone, but I don't think she's here...Mortll. Dark hair, about yay tall." He made a motion with his hand that was an inch or two off her real height.
Mortll: Mortll had arrived at the restaurant a bit early She had requested a table in the back overlooking the water One where it would be nice and quiet and they wouldnt bother the main crowd She sat there and pulled out her tablet and started to work pulling up plans and designs all the brainstorming ideas she had thought would fit Mr Marshall .. but then she really did not know the man well .She had done a business for him but that was a lot different than a personal home space. Time passed by she sat engrossed in her work Waving away the waiters attentions with excuses that she was waiting on someone occasionally she had quite lost track of time she looked at the clock on her tablet and looked around the restaurant Realizing that he was late just to see him talking to the matre de. . She started to stand as They both walked in her direction .
Enver: “Thanks, man.” Enver said to the matre de once he brought him over to the table Mortll was sitting at. He flashed Mortll a small grin, and then pulled out a chair. “Sorry. Had a meeting that took too damn long for my liking...but CEO's.” Enver snorted a little, then sat across from Mortll. “Hope you weren't waiting long...” He glanced across the table at her, before pulled at his tie to loosen it. “I appreciate you taking time out for this, and essentially, me.” Really, Mortll didn't owe him anything, so she was cutting into her personal time.
Mortll: "No i was just going over design and some schematics Most of this will depend on what type of craft you own Enver" The first name still feeling a bit awkward coming out of her mouth . "And im not sure if you know me but ive been accused of being a workaholic but you usually see me working at the things i like to do. This is a lovely night a bit nippy but the water is gorgeous I hope you arent too stressed out over your CEO's "
Enver: Enver glanced at the water they were surrounded by, then nodded his head appreciatively. He was listening, but looking around out of minor paranoia, before returning his gaze to her. “Well, I'm not expecting you to kill yourself working on this. Metaphorically.” He said with a small chuckle, before scooting his chair closer to where she was. “I've got a yacht, nothing too large, pretty much the same size as the other you worked on for me...” He thought about the dimensions and size, before nodding. “And not at all. It's all business politics, and that's something I understand well.” He grinned, unbuttoning his suit coat.
Mortll: Mortll grimaced at the mention of politics "Better you than me im no Politician im too blunt and i actually like to get things done. You want a lot of talking and Jack **** getting done call a Politician No offense intended im sure you have your ways of getting things done. ... " She shut her mouth before she dug a hole too deep to get out of she really wasn't meaning to insult the man but it was kinda coming out wrong. " So tell me more about this boat what are your ideas on color and what areas do you need refurbished design wise ?"
Enver: “It's all about finding a happy medium. They want something, you want something, and usually you can find a middle ground. Not all the time, but...sometimes.” he shrugged, what did he care if they argued over what brand of soda the theatre carried, or napkins even? He understood cutting funds to place them in other places...so long as Enver could get behind the end result. “Anyways.” He cleared his throat and then shrugged his shoulders. “Really, in my private space I'm sort of a minimalist. Less is more in some respects.” Enver believed that a few good objects in a room stood out more than a lot that made things appear cluttered. “So, was thinking of splitting the space up a little bit. A sleeping quarters and then a place to make some drinks, should the occasion arise. Doesn't have to be big, just need a few cabinet spaces, a bar with some chairs or something to sit and shoot the ****.” He shrugged, then moved on to the sleeping space. “I'm a fan of water, obviously.” Enver chuckled. “Was thinking neutral or earth tone colors...and, this might be above your capabilities, which is fine, can hire a contractor for that, but under the bed, would love a full view of what's going on beneath the boat.”
Mortll: Mortll paused a moment trying to wrap her head around the logistics of what he was asking her "You want a view under the bed or above the bed i mean you lie on the bed its solid unless you want a glass bed and a glass bottom on the boat ?" "Or are you suggesting a glass floor under the bed ?"
Enver: He grinned at her question, seeing how she couldn't understand. “Regular bed, and a larger, solid glass floor under the bed. Think it's possible?” he asked, cocking his head in her direction completely.
Mortll: She laughed "yes totally Possible I know it seemed a odd line of questioning but you wouldn’t believe some of the things ive been asked to make possible This one lady has her bed almost totally in a fish tank well not literally its a sort of tube fish tank surrounding the top of the bed and a huge fish tank floor below it ..... It was one of those projects that was interesting for sure. There are many more things ive seen here in Harper Rock that raise a eyebrow the Interior Designers get to see it all."
Enver: His attention was peaked now. "Yeah?" He asked, running a hand through his hair. "What's the craziest thing you've ever done?" He smirked a little at that. Maybe. Definitely.
Mortll: Mortll started to answer that then decided that he was still talking about design work "Ummm someone wanted a pool for with octopus for them to sleep in and i didn't ask anymore questions "
Enver: He blinked, surprised at the answer, then chuckled and raised both hands. “Fair enough.” He shook his head, trying to wrap his head around that strange request. “Well, I won't be giving you anything too far out. Just the sturdy floor under the bed, so when I roll out of it, I'm greeted with one of the things I like best.” He winked at her, then cleared his throat. “Will you need to see the space?” He asked, still keeping his attention on her.
Mortll: "Well with the structural request yes i will it will take either pulling the boat out of water and doing some major structural work or it could be as simple as cameras on the bottom of the boat . So whenever you want to set up that is fine with me. " She studied him for a moment he didn't seem to be half as bad as she first imagined .... but then she mostly got his public persona in the past and they hadn't always seen eye to eye on things . "So you want Earth tones No purples or reds something simple and elegant or this modern minimalist ?"

Re: The Pecularities of Business
Enver: He rubbed at his jawline and then gave her a sheepish grin. “Go big or go home is also another ideology of mine. Where it counts. I'm afraid, we'll probably have to get the boat out of the water, but you let me know when and I'll obviously get that handled.” He wanted the appearance of being on the water, without being on the actual water, so he knew it would take a lot of work and time. Both, he was fine with. “As for the red and purple? It's eye catching to people, which is what's needed in a public space. If people don't like what's inside my personal space, there's a door...might lead to some open water, but they can use it.” He chuckled softly.
Mortll: Mortll smiled she could see herself giving someone a flying boot off into the water quite easily. She really had never cared what people thought of her and that was one thing she liked about Enver he really never did care what others thought about him though part of his vanity was that he know people did like him and he loved it. People liking you did make things much easier she had to admit. Mortll sometimes was oblivious to when people did like her. Unless it was flat out obvious and then half the time if she didn't know them she was very very skeptical of their reasons and intentions she had been accused of putting up walls and being hard to get to know .... Well **** what did you expect a hug fest at Hello. "Ok. Got you I will have to see the blueprints of the boat structure as well if you had it custom built ... If you don't have them i can get them from the Manufacturer If its not a very old boat ." Mortll noticed the Waiter approaching and started to feign interest in the menu glancing over it briefly .
Enver: “Blueprints, got it. Pretty sure they're on the boat...can get them to you tonight, if you're eager.” Enver made a note of that in the back of his mind as a waiter came and gave them both a menu. “Thanks.” He said with a grin, then waited until he was gone to glance over at Mortll. “What do you suggest?” He asked, not that she would probably know, but here they were, and they needed to play the part; well, at least she did. He, on the other hand...not so much. He would be surprised if most people in this place didn't know he was a vampire based off his book and movie that was set to release in a few weekends. “You know, for someone who wants to appear human, I'm surprised you've not tried to learn to drink or eat. Or force yourself to learn that.” Enver casually mentioned with a shrug of his shoulders, a glimmer of a smirk in his eyes and face. “You're missing a lot, in my opinion.” He shrugged his shoulders.
Mortll "Well to be honest I like being a vampire Enver It does have its limits but I love being a Vampire as for food This is a business just because i can't eat this is how they make their living I was outted in that rag of a newspaper as being a vampire after the masquerade broke... but i still cling to a few habits that make me seem more human i wear glasses when im working on books its become a habit and i order things i love the smell of but i really dont miss eating. I dont get sick when im introduced to something Toxic Not like those that have forced themselves to eat and drink do it has less of a effect on me which i find to be most useful Its not like the food really benefits them you know its not sustenance "
Enver: He nodded his head, "True, but a whiskey sour doesn't go amiss every now and again." He chuckled. "So what do you like the best about being a vampire, Mortll?" He glanced up from his menu to focus on her and her answer.
Mortll: "Careful Enver this is starting to sound like a real date and not just business" She smiled at him teasingly studying him "To be honest being a Vampire has been kind to me Its given me a family where i had none I have been able to acquire wealth and much more through having it that i probably wouldn’t have been able to were i still human I like my special abilities but i had some of them before i became a vampire ... the period when i was freshly turned and gaining the ability to see and hear spirits again was about the only time i truly have had a rest from them. Im no fool to know that this stuff was obtainable when human .... I guess the short answer is that I like the power that it gives me and it gives me purpose direction and being able to raise things from the dead is pretty nifty too " She lowered her voice on that last part so that only he could hear
Enver: He chuckled, then held up a hand in defense. "Well, we might be business partners one night, and if that's the case, I like to know who I'm getting in bed with." He winked at Mortll before the waiter came back, ready for their order. "Whiskey sour for me, and the most exotic thing you've got in this place." He closed the menu without really looking at it, letting the waiter choose what He might eat tonight.
Mortll: "Mocha Latte Your Orange and Ginger Chicken Your spicy pork egg rolls and The beef and Stir fry Ohhh and do you have any of the Steamed and fried Dip Sum ?" The waiter said of course they did Mortll smiled and ordered them "And give me one Peking Duck could you pack everything but the Mocha Latte in to go containers ill be taking it with me " She smiled at the waiter as she jotted it all down and took her menu.
Enver: Enver just blinked, then chuckled as the waiter indicated that it should be twenty or so minutes for their order to arrive, before taking off. "Big family at home?" He asked casually, before frowning a little. "Food can only stay good, even in a container, for so long." He pointed out, believing this was Her way of tactfully ending their business date. "When can I drop off the blueprints to you?" He pulled out his palm pilot to glance at his schedule.
Mortll: "Im well aware of how long food lasts I own 5 establishments that serve it ... Dont worry it will last until it gets where its going You can drop them off anytime if im not at one place or the other they will get to me. Are you in a huge hurry Enver I thought we might go for a little walk and tour of the Marina after we were done here and discuss styles and your tastes ?"
Enver: "Five?" Enver blinked then narrowed his gaze a little bit in Mortll's direction; sizing her up a little bit. Or, really taking in what he's learned about her so far-which was a fair bit. If she was being honest that was. "And no hurry. My schedule is clear in anticipation of...this." he made a motion with his hand from him to her. "So, I'm all yours for the night." He appreciated that she seemed earnest to get to work, regardless of no deadline being set.
Mortll: "So since you seem to be learning about me How about a little on you ? What are you doing now days other than Civic work and Being the Movie star ?"
Enver: Enver glanced around and shrugged his shoulders. "Well, most my nights are spent in Chalktown, trying to rebuild a city that had been abandoned and forgotten about. Then, the things you mentioned, along with running a few businesses. Apparently I'm now going to be writing a movie script..." He teased her with a small smirk, before it disappeared. "A little bit of traveling from here to back home, and then raising Grace." He left it at that, before Enver glanced around the establishment. "You should take your own warning...sounding like a date." He winked at her as the waiter came back with their drinks and did a mad dash to another table after a smile in their direction. "If you plan on asking me my future goals or plans...I guess it depends on our community."
Mortll: Mortlls interest perked "Raising Grace ?"
Enver: He nodded his head, then sat forward as he cleared his throat. “Yeah. Grace, my daughter.” He let that hang there, before shrugging his shoulders. “I should give more credit to Rosa-she's her nanny. She's been a lifesaver, more times than I can count. We're still trying to get into the swing of things; Grace and I.”
Mortll: Mortll smiled she could see herself giving someone a flying boot off into the water quite easily.
