It would be nice if she didn't have to be lonely anymore, but Hannah wouldn't come to expect anything different. She, better than anyone knew life could be complicated. Very complicated. What if Gino did something to Freddie? What if he tried to kill him? Or did? Hannah didn't know what type of person Gino actually was, but she wouldn't put anything against him. Still, despite her reservations, Hannah nodded her head and then looked up at Freddie and gave him a smile.
He wanted to give singing another go. He should. While Hannah hadn't anticipated singing more than one song, the stage fit Freddie. And the crowd loved him. Especially the women. If she were a jealous person it might have bothered her more than it did, but she wasn't. At least Hannah didn't think so. And since this was their first date, she couldn't really lay any sort of claim to Freddie, even if she were the jealous type.
"You'll have to give me time to think about another song." Hannah admitted with a laugh as they turned back to the karaoke bar. She hadn't even thought about the wine and the fact that Freddie had been drinking it and nothing had happened, given their conversation. "You're right!" She smiled, glad the to have the things they talked about behind them, even if it was just for right now. "Do you think you can get drunk?" Hannah wasn't actually sure how that worked for vampires, but anything they learned about Freddie was a good thing and Hannah liked learning it with him.
"You know...it fits you. That scene." Hannah said, knowing very well what Freddie, who was actually Lancaster used to do before his memory got shot, due to what she found online. "You're a natural." She complimented him, leaning into his tall frame as they closed on the bar. When they were inside, a couple seats had been returned to their table, indicating some people had left after they and their friends had done their rounds of singing. Probably off to another bar or even club as the night was still early. Hannah pulled out of Freddie's hold slowly, reclaiming her seat as two girls were finishing up their version of 'Before he cheats,' clearly drunk and full of some sort of unspoken rage. Hannah glanced and Freddie and then laughed a little, before flagging down a waitress and pointing to the empty bottle of wine to ask for another.

Re: When the Music's Over (Invite)
Hannah was happy to go back to the karaoke bar and Freddie nodded, helping them to turn around and make their way back – a roundabout way, going back streets and around different corners, just to change up the scenery. They soon returned to the bar and, this time, Freddie was prepared for the peculiarly familiar scent to assault his senses. It was a comfort to him once he let go of the prickly sensation, a blanket of times lost, wrapped around him like a trusting old friend.
Hannah had asked whether Freddie could get drunk and it was a question he did not know the answer to. It was an easy answer to figure out, however; all he had to do was drink as much alcohol as possible and see what effect, if any, it had on his senses.
Turned out, the tall, memory-less vampire COULD get drunk. It took most of a bottle of wine and then some, but his contentedness and joy mounted, tripled, growing all the more potent with each song he performed up on stage. How many? Three, maybe four more before the bar was closing up and the two of them had to leave – they’d let them stay a little longer than usual, only because the staff wanted to hear another song. Strange, how they were all so enraptured, but Freddie didn’t mind. In fact, he revelled in it.
And once they exited the establishment and were once again on the street, he revelled in Hannah’s company. Whether it was the surging adrenaline or the drunkenness or the general high, he didn’t want to keep his hands from her. The time they’d spent in bed together so many nights before only left him thirsty for more. They’d had their date. Hannah had shared her history (a history Freddie would think on and return to, once he was sober again). It seemed only right that he share himself in return – the only part of himself that he could share, with confidence.
