I appear to have discovered
A new type of raid.
Sorry David. >.> Not trying to spoiler anything I swear. I just never stumble on these things.
It's a wendigo hive!
I won't give away where it is (can't make things too easy), but there are Wendigo Spirits on the first floor, so I assume the NPCs there are all Wendigos.
I have no clue at all what's on the top floor or what the relic is, but people can feel free to post that info here if they want!

Re: I appear to have discovered
Okay so a few notes.
The Wendigo Spirits on F1 are a REAL pain. Like a real pain. They not only spam rigormortis, but seem to be really fast and strong. And partially incorporeal(?). Anyway, if you have trouble going up against them, I'd suggest trying out different battle tactics, because after fiddling with mine for a while, I found some combinations of powers etc that seem to work decently well.
Ironically the Transhuman Wendigos and Wendigos (found on F2-3 respectively) are a lot easier, at least for higher level characters. Which isn't to say they're easy, just boot my boys down onto lower floors less often.
Highest I've gotten so far is F4 where there are possessed wendigos. Fought one. Lost miserably. We'll see if anyone else can take them on though!

Or somebody won...
I have been so long master that I would be master still, or at least that none other should be master of me.

Re: I appear to have discovered
For those not on Addicted to Path on Facebook, David posted (December 14):
"There's a new raid in the city, and it's already spawned as of 1 hour ago. This time it's a wendigo hive, and it's the toughest raid yet. There are two yet-unencountered enemies on the higher floors for you to test your metal against.
This raid might prove too much for any character in the game!"
Would have loved to try this out too, but I haven't been having much success with the wendigos in that new forest area myself.
