I just had a thought about this and was wondering how the Faction would tackle it.

Would the Faction act like a court of law where they see if the defendant is actually guilty or would they just rely on hearsay? I think having a judiciary system would definitely add another level to this idea that I have never seen RPed before!

It becomes a lot more of a "fair" and "valiant" effort than simply determining a Vampire needs to be killed because they "got caught feeding". Getting caught feeding happens, does that mean you have to die/get crippled for it?

Which would probably be why, it may be discussed amongst the three captains. It may just be a simply warning issued. -Shrugs-

Oh no! It was a fair and simple question! One that I hadn't answered in my last response. I was kinda glad that you did ask it, cause I totally forgot to add it. =)

Maybe it's just the way my mind works, but, I immediately thought, "Relying on informants? Cool. Let's tell them that someone I hate had killed a Human and get them killed."

Because I can imagine a lot of people (or maybe it's just me because I'm obviously an evil *****) would probably just tell the Humans that someone is guilty simply because the Humans can't check to prove that person did it.

Which is cool for RP anyway, but, what I thought was also pretty cool would be a judiciary system. A three person jury is apparently fine according to the Court of Appeals, so... if it works in real life. :D

Humans can't check, but a vampire who they trust can. Plus they would be more inclined to ask for evidence rather than reply upon their word.

So violent my dear. I'm sorry. Life sucks.

I had a really hard time trying to do anything with The Order, it was kinda ruined and the faction plus the building I have no control over so part of having to build a whole new building and such, I'm at a lost on what to do. Course I'm at a lost what to do with my chars as well so, I dunno.

My two cents...for what it's worth?

Abandon the order. it's hard as hell to pick up where something was left off or fill someone's shoes (not that I say that's the case here mind you, but I've seen other places/situations where people leave and were very influential and others try and it just doesn't work (99 percent of the time)). So, start over/start fresh.

I mean the order (old one) was destroyed and due to the last chapter, I think paladins took a big hit too (if I remember right), so I could see the few remaining PC/NPC (written by pc's) banding together or laying low and waiting to strike or just taking things in a different direction all together. Maybe not vampires now, but maybe idk fadebeasts, or some of the remaining npc factions like the sirens or wte...idk. I just am throwing ideas that are prob crap in the end without looking at who/what factions are around, but i say abandon the order and start a new chapter!

In saying that though! Other Paladins that are AGAINST vampires and don't want to work with them, can still be independent informants. However, they just wouldn't be able to join the faction. As it is for Paladins that are willing to work WITH vampires, only.
With that smirk of his, I doubt he'd have any problem getting someone to agree to work with him. Ahem! Sorry, Joseph Morgan Fan Girl moment. <3

Anyways!

I really like how this is sounding so far. Like I said, Sawyer and Ephraim are totally anti-vampire, but I've got an idea in my head to where maybe they could combine forces here and there. I think it'd be interesting to see how they interacted and to get two different out looks on things. That's down the road, though. For now, I think you have a solid start, and I can't wait to see where it ends up! I love the idea of the three council, with Verin heading it. <3

On the vampire side:

Caligrace is pro-human, so she could be a trusted vampire ally, if needed. She's more human that she is immortal. xD

Don't worry, I have those moments too. ;)

Well, I surely hope that Verin and Caligrace get a chance to meet, it would be awesome to expand their vampiric contacts. =D
