The buxom allurist sat quietly in the back of room watching as the auction and party went on around her. it seemed her sire was interested in an auction for a brownie recipe... but he had wandered off. He seldom told me what was on his mind, but it was the most interested I had seen him in qute awhile. Slowly she rose to her feet. She had never gotten anything for him before. Raising her hand she whispered just loud enuff for vampire ears to register, "215,000, for the woman with the recipe"

HOPE dipped into the second to the last row of the infamous brownies and pulled out two generous sized examples of what was up for auction along with the dessert's creator. A new face in the party that had yet to be greeted properly. With dimples on view she stepped forward and extended the uniquely layered brownies to the woman who was a sight to behold.

"For you. Something sweet to eat." Dominique looked the curvy beauty over and winked. "Enjoy." With that said she returned to her spot and took a visual inventory of what was left in the pan while licking her lips.

Beverly looked at the women leading the auctions when she announced the new bid for the recipe.... She considered her bank acount then smiled, she would get this recipe for her sire, "250,000.... for the brownie lady"

The shadow heard the latest bid coming from the woman she just handed two brownies. She eyed the pan and swallowed hard. She made a living acquiring high end rare cars and flipping them to those that contracted for the deed to be done. Not everyone was inclined to get their hands dirty. A glance down at HOPE and LESS gave her a chance to inspect their visual worth in permanent ink. Maybe she was eyeballs deep in her own confections and her mind lost in its effect but there were two possibilities she couldn't shake.

One she was in the wrong line of business. Mrs. Fields and Little Debbie started somewhere, right? The second was...she was certifiably screwed. Her lips formed a hardline as she stood up. Slowly she wrapped up the remaining rows of brownies that were left. The recipe was memorized, her farm was full of the secret ingredient that separated her creations from the rest. She no longer prayed, there was no God for her but she did still get by on hope. It was kicking in full force. She sure as hell hoped it was about the treats in her hand. If so she was going be investing in her baking skills. If it wasn't...

Standing there she did what anyone would likely do in her shoes and current situation. She carefully reviewed from her memories just who had it in for her the most. Was it the hideous shoes she had been sending someone in particular? Someone who was still carrying a grudge? One of the many she at some point or another poked at? Perhaps it was the nuns, Mother Superior whom was incredibly disgusted with her. Why Doc didn't get rid of her was beyond the shadow. She had the disposition of a rabid badger. It sure as hell wasn't because of the brownies. Considering all the possibilities on who was bidding she came to one conclusion. It would serve as a reminder that being bored was not always a bad thing.

With the announcement of the auction finally closing she registered her fate was in the hands of none other than the one and only Ric. The last of the brownies were carried over to the woman handling the event. A smile graced her own lips as a courtesy and she made her way out. She needed the night air. Not so much to breathe it in but to get the space it offered her. Too many brownies in her system. Too much to register. She felt a change coming that would be far more of an impact than the increase in her bank account. Something that could not have a price put on it and she was ready. Entirely ready for what was coming.
