I'll be away for about a week, starting tomorrow. Towards the end of the week, I will be around to do minor things and reply to PMs, but nothing extensive, as I won't have all of my tools with me.

Just a quick note to say that the first level of mastery powers are nearly done. Just 3 human mastery powers to add, and then I'll open up mastery paths to people who want them.

Hacking raids should be far more regular than before. One should spawn tomorrow at some point, so let me know if it doesn't work correctly.

The Disenthrallment and Eternal Bond tomes have been sold (ICly) to the magic shops of Harper Rock (seller anonymous). This means they are now available in magic shops city-wide, for the price of $10,000 each.

Roleplay-initiated battles have been tweaked slightly to make them fairer for the outnumbered party in particular.

The first two combatants proceed as normal, with no changes made to that. However, each additional person joining on either side of the battle will be unable to hit any existing participants until they have moved again. Essentially, the system assumes that newcomers to an existing battle have already attacked everyone. After people have moved, however, the battle resumes as normal.

This is to ensure that 6 people can't simply jump into an open thread, all join a battle against 1 person, and wipe them out before they have a chance to come online. The target will always have a chance to see who has joined the fight, and whether or not they feel like they can't win, and thus they may decide to flee the area.

Custom rumours are now available for 5 karma, and last for 30 days.

To request a custom rumour, please send me a message o the forum. If this feature proves popular, I'll add it into the game so that you don't need to PM me on the forum.

I'm also willing to add in custom newspaper reports. I won't charge for these, but naturally they'd have to be quite newsworthy, and make sense.

You can now wipe the invitations from any of your lairs (one area / floor at a time) by going to the lair control panel (the key symbol). This action costs 5 karma, and will permanently wipe all prior invitations from the area you're currently standing in, preventing vampire characters from entering your abode without the requisite powers.

This isn't something that we really like to see happen, as there's already a ritual in place for this purpose. However, we're aware that sometimes non-ritualist characters might have an OOC falling-out with somebody, and might want to remove their access to their character's abode immediately. It has been kept fairly expensive in order to make people consider the ritual option, if possible.

A few chat bugs have been fixed, which should help with stability a little, and will also prevent the blank chat bug when switching characters.
