--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
(Due to the nature of Google Docs, and my sheer laziness, Veratia will post a slightly larger portion than my own.)
(Edit: I overlooked the length of the actual document, but I consent to giving RPP points to Veratia. Will not happen next time.)
[* = Veratia]
Eldecrok was sitting at a table near the entrance, entranced by the complex security system of one of the leading storages of vampire data. He would occasionally take a sip from his tea, as it was afternoon. He had recently tripped, and has a small gash on his face
* Veratia walks into the café, hesitantly. She was still used to this...not that she would show it normally. She blinks when she sees Elde, hesitantly going over to him.
Eldecrok waves and closes the system net for the large database. "Ah, Vertia was it? I'm glad to see you, how are you?" He brushed his hair with his hand a little, and presented himself in a calm manner.
* "Hi there..." She says, giving him a small smile as she sat at his table.
* Veratia nods a little. "I'm good. You?" She asks, her eyes moving to his gash.
Eldecrok sighs. "I tripped, I really ought to be more careful." He wasn't exactly happy with her pointing it out, but he didn't feel much of anything so it was not much concern to him.
* Veratia blinks, her eyes going back to his. "Oh! Sorry...I shouldn't stare." She says with a small laugh. "So...uh...what brings you here?"
Taking note of her somewhat awkward nature, he looked around for a moment. Compared to other cafes, this one was fairly quiet for once, with another person listening with their headphones. "I was doing some work. And yourself?"
* Veratia shrugs gently. "Just exploring..." She says, biting her lip a little. "It's somewhat quiet in here...a nice change
This lady was odd enough to claim that she was exploring. She doesn't appear to be new to the area, otherwise she wouldn't have bothered to come back to this general area at all. Anyone familiar with the city would outright avoid this area, unless... "Do you want to look at what I was doing?"
* "Sure." She says with a small smile. She knew that she was bad at lying...but she didn't mind. "How's your day been?"
Opening up the application for a poorly monitored surveillance cam, he took popped up a video of a vampire attacking a human in an alleyway. "It's been alright." He stated.
* Veratia watches with a small frown, tilting her head a little. "Tch...damn people don't know when to stop hurting innocents..." She mutters, as if ignoring the fact that the other 'person' was a Vampire.

Re: A First Time [Elde, Verati]
Eldecrok looks at her with a calculating gaze. "Would it not Would it not be better if someone consented?"
* Veratia shakes her head. "That still wouldn't make it right to hurt others." She says, crossing her arms.
A break in logic. A human would be either asking how I got this video or what it was. This shows that this person was either not carefully thinking, or they are associated with vampires.
"I agree, but would it not be better if one asked and the other gave? Perhaps that person didn't have enough money, and needed it. Surely this other person could give something, no?"
* Veratia shrugs gently. "Depends on how much was asked. If it could not be afforded, than the other could not give."
* "Besides..." She says, watching the video again.
Closing the application before moving on, it was official at this point. This person was associated with the vampire community. Least, he is pretty sure. Perhaps he was quick to judge, then again he always was. "Do you read Twilight at all?"
* Veratia shakes her head softly. "Nope. Hate it...the Vampires in that are ridiculous." She says, with a small grimace. "Besides, even if they were real, they wouldn't sparkle in the sun." She
says, as if sure that Vampires didn't exist.
"Really now? It's a decent work for some people. Now..." Elde smiled, and looked into her eyes, as if locking her into the truth. "You are quite lovely, do you agree?" His eyes relax, it was his attempt at a joke.
* She chuckles gently, shrugging a little. "Wouldn't say that..." She says, giving him a small smile.
"Are you hungry?" Nothing more, nothing less. He kept his soft eyes and smile
* Veratia hums a little. "A little bit. Why do you ask?" She asks, tilting her head gently.
Eldecrok thought his plan out very carefully. If he offered blood and she wasn't a vampire, he could pass it off as a joke, and mention rumors. Otherwise... He would get something very
interesting. Just hope secrecy doesn't go as far as people who already know. "I want to talk somewhere more private. Care to go to the stairs to the basement?"
* Veratia raises an eyebrow a little. "Uh...I guess?" She asks, now on guard. It was obvious her trust didn't extend as far as trusting him /that/ much.
Eldecrok got up and closed his laptop, and walked over to the stairs and stopped by the wall. "No one else is around."
* Veratia nods gently. "I know." She says, keeping an eye on him. "Why do you think I'm on guard instead of relaxed?"
Eldecrok sighs and close his eyes. When they are behind the brick wall out of sight, he feels a pain in his chest. Not a damaging pain, an emotional one. Nonetheless he continued. He took a thumbtack and pushed it lightly on his skin until a fair amount of blood came out, but none of it dripping down.
* Veratia watches him with slight interest. Her eyes glance to the blood, but otherwise they stay above the blood and on the back of his head.
Were she to look up to his eyes, his eyes were almost teary. "Touch is intimate for humans, no? C’est cela l’amour, tout donner, tout sacrifier sans espoir de retour. I am not ready." Taking a plastic cup, he pushed the tack deeper, letting it flow into the cup. Applying a pressure point to restrain blood for a moment, he offers the cup with his open hand. "Drink."
* Veratia watches him, before taking the cup, looking down into it. She then looked up to him, looking in his eyes...before giving him a small hug. "Tch...you think that I want to be like this?"
She asks, before backing away a little, watching him. "You're bleeding, and most likely believe in Vampires...so why?"
Eldecrok nods a bit, but his voice has a bit of shakiness. "Careful now, don't spill it." He would speak no more until she took the drink or declined it outright.
* She watches him carefully, before sighing a little. "You know, I've always had an interest in the paranormal...just denied it most of the time." She says, before taking a drink of blood with a slight grimace.
His eyes stopped getting teary, "The taste madam?" He took a bandage out and placed it on the wound after removing and tossing away the thumbtack.
* "I always enjoyed the taste of blood..." She says, humming gently. "I don't know why. Anyways, it tastes good..." She says, before sighing. "I ask again...why?"
"Curiosity, Knowledge, Empathy, Sin... I don't know. I just know I don't belong with people." He wiped his mouth, hoping Veratia would follow suit.
* Veratia sighs softly, before nodding gently, doing the same. "Do you truly believe in Vampires...?"
"You are one. And do come back if need be. It's a pleasure to do this." He left for the table to make sure no one took his computer. He could always blow it up if need be, but that would be a waste.
* Veratia frowns gently, following him with a small sigh. "I had always denied that Vampires never existed, despite the evidence...back when I was a Human." She says, gently.
Eldecrok nods, and opens his laptop again. He pulls up a file of Veratia. "You see this?" Before she could reply, he would press the delete button, and all data of her was gone. "Now you are a human. Do as you wish."
* Veratia gives him a small smile, nodding gently. "Thank you..." She says softly, giving him another hug
Eldecrok gave a hug back. "You're not the only one right now who needs their stuff fixed. If you'd like you can leave."
* Veratia gets out her phone, humming gently as she looked at the time. “Nah...I still have a little…” She says, looking up and giving him a small smile.
Eldecrok nods, and continues working, letting her leave when she wants.
