In search of accomplices

Post by Bjorn »

Bjørn’s made a home for himself on the violations list. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a violations list until a week ago or so! I’ve fucked up, big time. Yet, I’ve found a way to incorporate the next-to-nothing IC development he’s had (docs siring thread) to his terrible descent into infamy. Kid doesn’t know **** (and his player is only starting to get it), so he’s been in this cycle of eat, sleep, rave, kill, hide, repeat. I just need a supporting cast and maybe some well-established producers to help me orchestrate something out of this mess, so that I can actually establish Bjørn in written form on here.

Character development wise, someone popping a cap up his butt is a great way to start next chapter of this horrible, horrible train wreck. So far he’s been attacked by hunters and someone has tried to skirmish him to no avail. As far as I’m concerned, he could use a time out in the Shadow Realm to get back on his feet after (he was off his rocket when he was sired, after all).

My only real concern is that I’m so overwhelmed with the complexity of this game, that I’d rather this thing go down in an orchestrated manner with some written roleplay and behind-the-scene support / explanation / guidance. It’ll help me solidify Bjørn’s presence on here and find my voice for him, even if the thread will end badly (he has it coming). I’d even like to establish some stones on the path for future (post SR-holiday) interactions, with whoever sends him off and/or interacts with him before whoever gets him. There’s not much support on the family front, as far as on-forum narrative roleplay goes — and that’s what I signed up for.

So, without further ado, I’m wondering if there are any interested parties.

Also, I could use more people to pester with random questions that I can’t find answers for on the Wiki. A little guidance, both on the IC and OOC front, would be greatly appreciated and hugely beneficial for the future of this sad, sad curly-haired monstrosity I’ve created. Notably, the whole attributes vs skills thing, because I’ve been giving them all equal treatment as he levels up - and apparently that’s no good. But that’s a story for another time.

Hi there,

Sorry I didn't catch you in chats when you came in and asked your question. I try not to lurk, so people don't get the wrong idea that I'm there, when I'm really off doing other stuffs somewhere else.

If you're in chats and are in the mood to ask more questions, then hopefully we can catch up then and I would be happy to answer any questions you had. I'm on an RP hiatus as I finish the last few months of my degree, but PM wise I'm always happy to answer questions, and there are usually people in chats who are eager to RP/give guidance if you're looking that way.

The RP mod is always good for RP stuffs, she plays Lancaster dArtois (one of a lot of characters she plays) and she hangs in chats too. Hopefully you can find peoples to RP this out with on your character. That would be super awesome. And if you're around this time next year when I'm all done with school, I'll be happy to take you up on character development RPs.

I'd be happy to help, I understand completely coming in new and being overwhelmed. You can reach me via forum PM, and I'm good for RP or grid fun. ( I have completely awesome mentors myself )

Feel free to hit me up with questions if you have any. I can help with canon stuff, and a little bit of grid stuff (though Mordie is our resident game expert).

I'm also down to write! If Dom gets involved, you can bet Jameson will go along for the ride. Or if you're more interested in playing with one of my other boys, just let me know.

<3 Good luck!

Doc is well known as a violations hunter. So I will toss him in.

Couple of ideas for you. Your character is young, yes he has a **** load of violations, but still he's a fledge. So instead of shadow realm, which will give your character a death wound for several months after you leave the SR.. you could have him crippled.

Crippled vs Shadow Realm. Shadow realm you do nothing but hunt spirits for 7 days. Completely different grid. No other game play unless you have powers. No PXP earning.

Crippled you can still play the game, but you can only feed once a day.. so you would have to have help to get your character back up to 10 bp.. so you could earn pxp while crippled.

Doc is Dominique's sire.. so if you interested.. you have that option too.

Can't say this enough. Really all the above are incredibly generous with their time collaborating and creative energy at plots and storylines as well as incorporating grid with it. Mordechai is a grid guru. You have just started Bjorn's adventure. Accept the helping hands offered and you will be amazed at what can happen.
