She woke with a start, looking wildly around the room. She knows the dreams are not real, knows there are no monsters in this world besides people. She raked her slim fingers threw her hair that is now wet from sweat trying to compose herself and slow her breathing. She looked around her empty room to assure herself no one is there, she plucked the covers off of her body and got up. She walked around her bed and stepped infront of the window that she left cracked to cool herself off. She was never worried about people coming in threw the window, she lived on the 8th floor of a appartment complex in a gated community in Harper Rock. She looked outside and saw the full moon, then glanced down and saw the light of the moon shinning off the surface of the wet leaves of the trees. Saw the trees wave at the gental breeze that came threw, she then saw a small figure on four legs that caught her eyes gliding threw the grass for a midnight hunt. It was the local cat she usually feeds, the cat was pointing away from her but must have felt eyes on her so she turned her head and looked up right at kares. They stared at each other before the cat jumped in the bushes and disappeared into the night, her eyes drifted to the water fountain and watched the moon light play off of the water droplets for a little bit. She sighed to herself and turned away from the window-sill, she wrapped her arms around herself and found she was shivering. "What is wrong with me." She whispered to herself into the dark not expecting to get an answer. She gave up sleeping so she grabbed some clothes out of her dresser on the other side of the room and went into her bathroom that is joined with her room. She turned the hot water on and decided to get a hot shower to wash away the rest of her uneasiness. She plucked off her black lace night gown and dropped it to the floor. She then turned and saw her reflextion looking back at her, She looked at the eyes that were looking back and noticed they were a deep green, almost a forest color, she got that from her father. She looked at the hair that was draped across her shoulders, it was a dark brown color with light brown hairs threw out that came down in waves, it came all the way down to the middle of her back. she had a slim body but had a little bit of muscle from her going to the gym every other day. Her gaze went to her throat all the way down to her breasts which moved to her breathing which now has calmed down, she was a C-cup. Her gaze went further down, grazing her flat stomic and hips till the image of the counter-top stopped her eyes. She looked back at the eyes and thought how much she looked liked her mother, before that thought went any further she stopped herself, the wounds were still deep, to new. She shook her hair back to distract herself and stepped into the steaming hot water to ready herself for the hectic day ahead of her.
She walked outside of her apartment and looked around to make sure no stranger was there, she knew everyone that lived there. She started to walk to make it to the bus to go to work but a voice stopped her, "Where are you going so early in the day." She turned to see an old lady that was sitting down and reconized her immediately, "Good morning Mrs. Jenkins, I am going to work." The old lady shooked her head and gazed at kares, "This early? It seems you are going earlier and earlier", She hesitates, "Is everything ok with you child?" Turning completely to the older lady to show respect, I looked at her up and down. She was close to her 80s, her hair was pure white and thinning, but do not think this old women is a fool, behind those grey eyes was a cunning mind. "Yes ma'am, everything is fine." I smiled at her to reassure her, but the way she looked at me told me I was fooling no one. I looked at my watch and before she could say anything,"Oh goodness! Look at the time, it was nice talking to you Mrs. Jenkins but I have to go to work!" I waved at her as I started to walk briskley away seeing she was not done talking. After I got away from the complex I turned right, this was the way to the bus, two blocks away. I looked up and down the walkway and saw it was already busy with people going up and down. Their eyes were not on the surronding area, they were not worried about who or what was happening around them. I joined the crowed, but unlike them I was always looking around to make sure no one was staring at me. I looked at my watch and it said 6:55, the bus got at the stop at 7am. So I picked up my speed to make sure I will make it on time there. As I was feets away from the bus stop, I suddenly got chills that ran up my spine, someone was watching me. My eyes dart from left to right looking for the pair of eyes but I found nothing and by the time I made it to the bus stop the feeling went away. I climbed the stair of the bus and swipped my card for the drive and said hello to the bus driver. The only place open was to stand, which I did not mind. As I stood there holding on the bar in the middle of the bus I gave a sigh and breathed in. It smelt like sweat and B.O., which I was use to for taking this route for abour two years. You can tell that this was an old bus by the way it looked, the seats fraying on the sides and floor was worn from all the that were on it. The bus lurched when it came to a stop, I looked out the window to see where we were. Five more stops and I will have to get off, after that I will have to walk three blocks and will be at my work. I was starting to slip into thought till I felt a guy behind me, I slightly glanced at him and made eye contact. His eyes were blood shot, which was a sign of being drunk or on drugs, I got a very unease feeling from the guy. He smiled at me and I turned away before he could say anything and walked to the front of the bus. 'Two more stops kares, just be calm' I told myself to keep my mind still, but even still, I felt his eyes on the back of my head. 'Finally!' My stop has came and the bus lurched one more time for me as I got off, a crowed of people got off with me but soon disappeared in different directions. I started to walk the three blocks to my job, you can hear the clicking of my shoes as I walked, even after getting off the bus I felt eyes on me so glanced back and noticed the creepy guy about twelve feet behind me. I picked my speed up turning back around to see how far work was and saw that I had one more block. When I picked up speed so did the guy, I could feel the ooze of the intention dripping off of him. Before he could catch up to me, I made it to my work and quickly opened and closed the door and locked it. I watched as the guy passed my work looking straight at me, my skin crawled. He finally passed and I shook off the rest off the ooze. I walked into the greeting room and saw Harold sitting there looking at files, he has not heard me come in and was deep in thought. His eyebrows creased in disapprovel and his lips strained. He was in his mid-30s, his hair was a dark brown but had little greys near the ears and the front of his hair line. He had lines around his eyes not from stress, but from laughing often. He was always a happy guy so whatever he was reading must not be good, looking at him, he was wearing suite like usual. "Hey Harold." I greeted him, I could tell from his startled look that I caught him off gaurd, he then smiled making the lines around his blue eyes more visible. "Good morning Kares! By God women you scared the living life out of me!" We both smiled when he pointed to his hair, "Look see! Another grey hair thanks to you!" He laughed at that. He always had a booming voice that called for attention, always the center of parties. He was not bad looking either. Nodding to the paper in his hands "What got your tail in a knot?" I asked. He let out a big sigh, this client that I took on I am finding was not a good idea. There is no way he was not guilty of thactions that took place and now I have to protect him infront of a jury!" I shooked my head, He was lawyer that is just starting out. He was always a good caring one, one of the best and would trust him with my life. "Why did you take it then?". He shrugged his shoulders and went back to looking at the file, "Because no one else would take him, his family does not have a lot of money and needed a good lawyer. It is not always about the money, and plus all he did was try to steal food for his family." I rolled my eyes and went back to start my paper work for the day.

Re: The Busy Streets (EDENOR)
He had been out almost the moment the sun had sank low enough that the streets of the city would be shrouded in the long shadows of the sunset. He had things he had to do and so the first he would have to take care of was feeding before continuing on. The train across from where he lived took only a minute to reach before he was using it to cover the city and to get closer to the slums. He got off a couple of exits early though as he felt a tingle in the back of his mind, like something was wrong and he had long ago learned to listen to such warnings. Sometimes nothing happened at all and others chaos broke out. Why take that risk?
Stopping short of his destination though left him in the middle of the skyscrapers of the bustling downtown with far too many people still out and about, the last rays of the day had not fully faded from the sky so there were still plenty of people going about their daily lives. The shift to evening wasn't fully complete though, not all the lights on so he didn't bother with his shadow as he moved purposefully through the crowds until they began to thin out. The smell of passing so many humans had deepened his hunger though and he felt his fangs slowly elongating in his mouth and he knew it was getting to the point of being dangerous to be on the streets for him, such warning signs had led him to make mistakes in the past. Mistakes that left him full of holes from overzealous police officers.
To try and prevent this from happening he shifted his focus from his destination to hunting, his form disappearing into the shadows between two buildings as night truly came. It instantly set him at east as he began to follow the least populated routes he could find, taking to the main sidewalks as needed until very few were left around. He had no idea exactly where he was any longer because he didn't care. Realizing that there was nobody on the street where he was facing from between a narrow alley he moved up near the edge of the wall and waited, his body sinking into shadows as he let his powers flow from him, shrouding him from even the most careful of observers. At least this way he could wait patiently for that lone one or two humans to cross his path before feeding so the rest of his night could continue.

Re: The Busy Streets (EDENOR)
She leaned back on her chair, her eyes starting to hurt from the strain of constantly reading, at that moment Harold came in. "Women, go home. It is to late and getting dark. You know I do not like it when you walk those streets by yourself." Thinking about what he said then thinking about the creepy guy, she thought he was right. "Yea yea, I am packing up right now." I rolled my eyes at him and stuck out my tounge. As I exited the building I turned and locked it, I started to walk to the bus stop and realized I felt eyes on me again. I looked behind me and saw now one, so I picked up the pace. There was no one on the street, everyone is already curled up and sleeping. I then started to hear foot steps behind me, I looked and I could see a faint shadow of a person. The moon was out tonight so I was able to see a little bit better, thats when I noticed that it was the same guy as this morning. This guy is very creepy, to get away from him I turned a corner and started to walk to a store that was still open. I looked at my watch to see about the bus, no luck, I still had thirty minutes. The man has almost caught up with me by now and I realized I was never going to make it to the store. I turned around to face him but he was gone. I was extremly relived, so I walked back to the bus stop waited the thirty minutes and got on the bus. I sat down the nearest to the front and layed my head down thinking about what almost happened, I got the shivers. I fianlly got to my stop and had only two blocks to go till I was safe in my room, I started to walk and as I passed the first block thin boney hands reached and grabbed my mouth. I tried to scream but I could not breath, I fought back scratching, kicking, and biting. I heard the guy curse, his ranced breath so close to my ears. No matter what I did, I could not get loose. He finally threw me into the ally, I landed hard on my back, the breath squeezed out of me. I gasped, looking at him.
It was the creepy guy, looming over me, I can see him better now. He was grinning and his teeth were black and yellow, his eyes were more red then last time, he probably used something right before this. He was tall and skinny, tattoos everywhere, his hair was matted. I looked at him in his drugged red eyes, I could see I was about to die. I coiled my body up not going to go down without a fight, I jumped at him, making him lose his balance. I tried to run past him but he grabbed my hair and whipped me into the wall, I blacked out for a second. He was laughing. laughing! "What do you want?" I asked, panicked trying to bid sometime to recover. All he ever did was smile, I picked myself off the ground and stood up with the help of the wall.
