Meet someone? He already had someone for her to meet and they’d only been together for an hour or two. Her head nodded in agreement. She could meet anyone he chose at the moment because eventually, he was going to have to introduce him to Doc and Jesse and Victor. Those would not be easy tasks.

“Ok, who is it you would like me to meet?” She was curious. Who was it that he’d already want to introduce her to? “Is the person here somewhere already?”

“It is just my servant.” he said, as Kaelyn looked at him curiously. “Remember I promised to allow you to feed from me, if you were a good girl?” He leaned in and nibbled along her neck gently. Her blood would be so delicious, he could almost taste it on his lips already as his teeth gently followed her aorta. How much he longed for that taste, not only would it be so sweet but also much more powerful than the watered down blood of those weak vampires he usually fed on.

“I will have her hold the amulet for me while you feed on me. Unfortunately I cannot give it to you. Because I would like a taste of your sweet delicious virgin blood, too.” With a smile on his lips, he said it as if it was nothing unusual at all for a human to feed from a vampire.

Her tongue trailed over her lips as she thought of placing her lips against his throat, breaking his tender flesh, tasting that sweet crimson liquid. She had wanted to feed from him since the moment she saw him. She wanted to sink her fangs in and have him fill her. She’d be gentle with him though. She would only take what was needed. She wouldn’t drain or kill. He was hers. She would always take care of him.

“Is it safe for her to know I am a vampire?” Fingers trailed over his chest as her head tipped back, allowing his lips and teeth to caress her throat. She was a little taken aback by his comment. He wanted to feed from her? He wanted to taste her blood? He spoke as if it was something he had done before...fed from other vampires.

“You want to taste me, Stagger? My blood?” She paused...past conversations flooded her mind. The stories of blood thieves. The only humans she knew of that drank vampire blood. “Are you telling me….is that why you’re able to protect yourself? You’re...you’re a blood thief aren’t you…”

He watched her lick her lips hungrily. Oh so much he know that feeling, knew it better then she’d have thought. He leaned in a little and let his tongue flicker against those sweet lips of hers. “And yes, it is. She actually is a vampire too, but of much weaker blood then yours. She serves me because I saved her life.” Well spared her life would most like be a better expression. But he was sure that without him she would have gotten killed very soon anyway. Just like her sire.

“Yes I am a blood thief”. It wasn’t a good idea to keep that a secret from his girlfriend. Especially not when there already were vampires, who knew. All these turned paladins. Well Mini wouldn’t ever tell. But he wasn’t so sure about the others.

He looked into Kaelyn’s eyes now, hoping his revelation wouldn’t change her opinion about him, her feelings for him.

A very soft moan parted her lips as his tongue darted over them. Arms circled around his neck again, pulling him in closer so she could kiss him deeply. The idea of what he was was probably something she should worry about, but it wasn’t. They could make it work. They could give each other what both of them needed. The thought of it actually comforted her and made her feel even more attached to him.

“I have a new rule for you, Stagger.” Her eyes sparkled with delight at her newest revelation. It would be a way to keep him all to herself in some form. Another very soft and tender kiss was pressed to his lips. “As long as you and I are together, I am the only vampire you will taste.” Kaelyn smiled sweetly at him, a hand caressing his cheek. “No one has ever fed from me before. You’re going to show me all sorts of new experiences.”

The girl was very excited about everything she’d be learning and experiencing with him. But for now, before they could go back to his place or hers, wherever they were going, she needed to meet his...servant as he so called her. “Where is this servant of yours? I’ll meet her and then we can get out of here.”

“A new rule?” He asked in playful surprise, but then became serious as she voiced her suggestion. On the the one hand he was surprised and excited by the fact she willingly offered her blood to him. The two other vampires that ever found out he was a blood thief were very reluctant to offer him there blood. So it was wonderful that Kaelyn seemed rather happy about the prospect of him feeding from her. Yet, this would be a rule that was very hard to follow. Unlike her he didn’t need blood to survive. But it provided him with powers. When injured he needed the Countess’ blood to heal the wounds. Maybe Kaelyn had similar powers? He had no idea yet what powers he’d gain from her.

“I am not sure if this rule would work for me. ”He explained “I don’t have as many supernatural powers of my own as you or another experienced vampire has. I gain those by feeding from vampires. I still yet don’t know of all the powers I could possibly gain. And what powers I could gain from you.” He kissed her neck softly. “I’ve never fed from a vampire as powerful as you are before.”

He could have called the Countess in now, but he first wanted to hear Kaelyn’s reply.

Her happy expression dropped for a moment as she heard him say that there would be a problem with following her new rule. She was going to have to share that with someone else...possibly more than one someone else. But it was something he seemed to need to do. She wouldn’t take that away, even if she didn’t like it. Kaelyn wasn’t quite sure how the whole blood thief thing worked, just that he could drink vampire blood. As she listened to him explain though, she started to remember little bits of the story she had been told. Blood Thieves gain powers when they feed from vampires...that’s why they do it. She could understand why a human would want to do such.

Eyes closed a moment as lips kissed over her neck. She let out a soft sigh and nodded her head. “Ok, I understand. I don’t like it, but I understand.” Relationships...especially theirs, would be full of compromise and working together to make the best of things. “So when you feed from me...you’ll be able to do all the powers I can do? That’s really neat. Gives me more reason to keep practicing and learning new ones! I can already do a whole bunch of things!”

She thought for a few moments more. What all powers did she have? They came almost second nature to her anymore. “Well, so far I can lock people out of places, I can heal myself...that’s the first one I learned. I got my arm cut off...first limb I lost and I freaked out. But I somehow healed it. I can teleport myself and others. Oo a cool one I can do is make the earth shake! That usually only happens when I’m super upset though.” Kaelyn was grinning widely as she talked about all these cool things she could do. They fascinated her and she wanted to learn more. “I can burn you with a single touch, I can bring my friends and family to me, if they allow me...I summoned a wraith from the dead. His name is Alex. And I can summon spirits so that I can have more energy to do powers. And I can lure a human to me...makes feeding easier. I can track people pretty well. I can narrow down where they are and even see it in my head!” She never realized how much she could do….and how much there still was for her to learn!

“Would any of those powers be helpful to you? I’ll show them all to you sometime!” She pushed an excited kiss to his lips and grinned happily, almost forgetting that she had to meet someone in a moment.

He was glad that she didn’t take offense to his objections. “ I will not demand you to only feed from me either.” He told her. Hunting was part of the joy of feeding after all. As she listed her powers his eyes began to shine in excitement. She really was a powerful vampire. And yes she was right, there was plenty of things she could do that he could not. It would be great to be able to do these things too after feeding from her. Now he was even more eager to taste her blood.

“I am pretty sure all of these powers could be helpful to me”, he replied before he happily returned her kiss, “your greatest power of all though are your kisses. Nothing on earth compares to them.”

Longing to feed from her blood as he was he added. “I will now call Millarca so she can hold my amulet before you bite me.” One arm wrapped around Kaelyn’s waist, he reached for his webphone, quickly sending a message to her telling the vampire servant to come into his shop’s showroom.

Her cheeks flushed a deep red with his compliment. He really was quite amazing at wooing her. Another quick kiss was pushed to his lips as he grabbed out his phone to make the text. She wondered who this person could be. The talk of her powers and their blood seemed to have made him anxious for it, wanting it even more. She couldn’t lie to herself though...she wanted a taste of him just as badly.

“Luckily for you, you can have as many of them whenever you desire.” Lips were pressed to his throat, kissing over the flesh lightly. “I’m honestly not sure if I’ll ever want to feed from another fresh body after you. I usually stick to blood bags to be safe anyway. But you...you’re special. I’m safe with you.”

The other woman would be in the room shortly, so she begrudgingly slid off of his lap and moved to just sit next to him on the coffin. She kept close to him though, practically attached to his hip. “Hopefully she’ll like me...some vampires think I’m too peppy and happy.”

It took only a few minutes and the door opened. In stepped a young brunette woman - not older than Kaelyn’s body - dressed in a long black gold embroidered dress like one a eastern European noble woman might have worn about two hundred years ago. Her skin was rather pale and she walked with measured steps. For a moment a green eyed stare fell upon Kaelyn.

The young woman said nothing though but took a step forward, then bowed before the other vampire, her arm making an elaborate gesture of courtly greeting while she sank to her knees. Stag watched the scene in bewildered amusement, it seemed as if the Countess had secretly practised this old-fashioned greeting for quite some time.

“Kaelyn, this is the Countess Millarca, my servant. Millarca this is Kaelyn, my girlfriend.” Green eyes flared up for a moment at these words, but then the Countess humbly bowed her head again. It was obvious Stag was a bit uncomfortable with her behaviour, thinking she was overdoing it quite a bit. “By all means, rise”, he spoke.

“As you can imagine”, he added for Kaelyn, “Millarca is a great fan of these novels”, Stagger Lee pointed at the shelf of classic vampire novels. The Countess’ isolation from vampiric society had lead her to live a vampiric existence that tried to imitate these books.
