--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
This RP takes place on Sunday 2nd August 2015.
Enver:
The last two weeks had been busy and focused as he and Keara traveled the world to look at adoptees and interview them. Enver knew which one he wanted, the second the kid started talking, but he also had to recognize that this wasn't a singular, sole decision and that sometimes, what Enver felt, wasn't always right. But they had to come to a choice because here they were, in Cali, getting ready to legally adopt one of the boys and the business tycoon's lawyer's were on standby, waiting for he and his wife to make the decision so they could start finalizations immediately. Enver sat on a bed, with the notes he had taken about each boy spread out in front of him in the suite they were renting. From left to right were his preferences of males, the first one on left being his first choice, to the farthest on the right being his last. He sighed, sat back and ran a hand through his hair. What if they picked the wrong one? There was no refunds with something like this, which was why it was good his wife was on the same page as him. She usually (though, he would never admit) put more careful thought into their lifestyle changes than Enver did. "Did you like any of them?" He asked his wife when his eyes finally moved off the papers and to her, the male tugging at the tie he wore.

Keara:
Recognising the signs of stress, Keara leaned over and removed his tie. They might be going out to the lawyers later, but that didn’t mean that he had to be dressed to impress while they made their decision. They were after all in a private suite. Alone. Which was possibly half the reason they both sat clothed in the room, as they needed to focus on their conversation and not one another. “Perhaps easier first it would be for those that we did not like to eliminate.” As she said this she picked up the file belonging to the first boy they interviewed; Caleb Shelton. This was the Canadian child, and while he showed certain characteristics that they were looking for, he was sorely lacking in others. “Intelligent this on is. Yes. Loyal too. But fit with our family he does not. If likes he does not our children, then allow him in our home we cannot.” Keara wasn’t talking about their childer here, but rather their pets, their dogs. It was important to them that male they chose fit as perfectly into their lives as possible and if they did not like animals, they could not possibly do that.

Enver:
When she leaned forward, Enver leaned forward too and let his lips find the corner of hers as she pulled his tie off. It would be so easy for him to push the files off the bed and make better use of it, but he had to show restraint. They would never make it to the lawyer's office in time if he did that and they had come too far, and spent too many hours sitting, interviewing each boy. He leaned back, listened to his wife talk and nodded his head. That might be the best way to go about it. She mentioned Caleb and Enver frowned before shaking his head. He liked the kid overall, but the biggest hang-up was the dislike of animals. He had a bad experience with dogs as a kid and it stayed with him until this day. "Agreed." Enver said as he pulled the fifth file, the one on the right off the bed and tossed it into a nearby bin. Enver moved to the next kid he wasn't overly keen on, but again, if his wife happened to be, he would listen and take her thoughts into consideration. "The next one for me, is Reese Duffy. I don't think we'd hit it off. Nothing to relate to. He and I." Enver opened the file again, as if he were looking for more inside of it, something he might have missed before turning his attention to Keara.

Keara:
Reese was easy enough to remember as he was the last one they had seen. Keara’s eyes, however, were still on the file in the bin. It was all too easy to dismiss that child and she wondered if perhaps they were making the right decision. The thought lingered but a moment and then was gone as she turned her eyes back to the gorgeous male at her side. “Interests cultured can be My Love. You and I little in common had when met we did. And say you cannot that work well together we do not. Perhaps keep him for now we should? Liked him I did. Charm taught can be. Imagination not.” She momentarily placed her hand on his knee but as her finger began to work in small circles, gliding up his thigh she realised her mistake and quickly withdrew it. With her hands in her lap, she waited to see if Enver would save the file of discard it regardless of her opinion.

Enver:
He sighed, but nodded. If the kid was younger, maybe he would agree. But at his age, the male wasn't so confident on the words Keara spoke. Enver moved to the next kid, the one that was third on his list as he reluctantly vocalized his agreement with his wife. "Maybe." He said with another nod, this one curt and to the point. "Bryson. Can we teach loyalty?" He looked at his wife, wondering her thoughts on something that obviously bothered Enver.

Keara:
“No My Love. Loyalty teach we cannot. Already proven himself untrustworthy he has. While he only a game playing was when he his disloyalty did show, no other example have we for this to refute. Shame that is. Liked him I did.” Keara gave Enver a sad smile. She’d loved the fighting spirit and pull to violence that this one had shown but that sadly was not enough to keep him and it was probably reason enough for Enver to dismiss him. He wasn’t like her, but that was part of the reason she loved him so much.

Enver:
Enver nodded his head in agreement. In his mind, if he couldn't trust the kid, then there was no reason to adopt him. Not when Enver would be eventually giving the kid millions of dollars to hold on to and the businesses Enver had built with his own hands. If he came back to find out the businesses had been sold or driven into the ground and his money gone...Enver might not be able to control himself. The very idea of killing a kid he adopted and thought of as his own made the male sick, but that would more than likely happen. "So that leaves the three boys then. Jaime, Alex and Reese." Enver may have said his first preference first in line, but he was sure that was unintentional. Some subconscious thing. "We haven't discussed anything we liked or disliked about Alex." He looked at his wife as his fingers opened the file and gave it a quick glance. Peter was what came to mind and Enver couldn't help but feel that sting of jealousy at just thinking about Peter. It was silly to be jealous of a descendant of his wife...but still. What if she started spending more time with the kid because of her fondness of Peter? Enver cleared his throat, realizing he was being irrational, but that thought didn't ease his mind any.

Keara:
Keara could feel something negative from Enver when he spoke about Alex but she wasn’t entirely what it was exactly. She just knew she didn’t like it. With two down and one saved, they only had 2 more to discuss. Of which Alex was one. This one, much like Reese wasn’t so easily dismissed. His only real failing was his own lack of creativity, even if he was able to appreciate graphic art. “Prefer I do Reese to Alex,” Keara said honestly. Alex was a sweet boy but she doubted he’d be any good in Enver’s world as his personality, much like her own, was lacking something. “Set him aside you may. Our decision between Jaime and Reese most likely is. Unless like Alex you do. Then discuss him further we may. Need we both do for happy with our choice to be.” Keara smiled at her love and reached out to take his hand; a hand that she brought to her face before placing a kiss on the inside of his wrist.

Enver:
Jaime or Reese. Neither of them were disagreeable. Enver had his preference, but so did his wife. Maybe they should have both. It solved everything in Enver's mind. She could have the one she liked and he could have the one he liked and somehow he knew it would just work out decent. Like with the puppies. At first it had been rough, but now everything was working out good. Damn good. But could they give two teenagers their attention? To go from none to two seemed like it might be a drastic change. "I prefer Jaime, but Reese is as good as Jaime." Enver said flatly, eyes on his wife before he ran a thumb over her lip. Why did she always have to look so damn good and try to drive him wild with the things she did? His thumb moved from her lip to the side of her face as he stroked it, deep in thought. "Maybe we should ask Deanna which she preferred since we have our favorites?" He asked, as Deanna would be a neutral third party, he believed. Maybe. She was Keara's sister after all.

Keara:
And just like that the conversation was almost over. Enver was seriously distracting Keara, even to the point where she wasn’t even aware of the fact that she had initiated this little detour. Even the most innocent of actions were enough to completely chase away her thoughts. “Mhm,”she said, not really hearing anything after his thumb brushed across her lip.

Deanna:
Deanna was nearby, completely forgotten up until Enver thought to include her in the discussion. She’d already told them everything she had to say about the kids they were looking at, but she couldn’t help but smile at the entranced couple when Enver actually seemed to want her input in making the final decision. She’d of loved to have sided with Keara but she really couldn’t. Jamie seemed kind of normal, while Reese seemed to be a bit of a geek. The kid, in her opinion, was far too intelligent for his own good. The spectral entity coughed. “Well if you’re asking me I’d go with Jamie. Kid seems pretty well rounded. Reese has like no sense of humour. Jamie on the other hand. He’s got charisma in spades. I could talk with him for hours. And who knows. Maybe he’s got some hidden font of creativity he hasn’t tapped into yet.” She was trying to placate Keara since she’d blatantly just sided with the ‘enemy’. Even if she and Enver did get along a lot better these days, it was still too soon for either of them to forget how their relationship started.

Enver:
At first Enver couldn't help but grin at the fact that Deanna was siding with him. That she thought Jaime was the better pick. But then as he thought more and more about it, maybe her siding with him wasn't a good thing. Maybe she was only siding with him to make his life hell. It seemed odd that she would pick the kid Enver wanted. Or maybe it was just a fluke. Reese or Jaime. Decisions, decisions. In the end, Enver decided that as long as his wife was happy with the decision, that he would be too. Being smart, overly, wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Might be good at business. And the money front. Enver's hand moved off his wife's face and collected a hand in his. "I'm fine with either boy. I'll leave it up to you, gorgeous." Enver could recognize that both boy's had merits and flaws, but he was confident he could deal with whatever they were.

Keara:
Keara had to force herself to listen to her husband when he began speaking again. She’d barely registered her sister’s words and yet she heard enough to agree with her wisdom. Slipping her hand out of her husband’s, she moved to seat herself in his lap. The moment that the raven hair female straddled her love’s lap, the spectral entity decided it was time to leave. Whether they began to make love now or in ten minutes when this conversation was over, Deanna knew enough of them to know it was all but inevitable and that she’d rather not be anywhere near them when it happened. “Like them both, My Love, I do,” she said draping her hands over his shoulders. “Think I do that Jamie more like you is. See I do why favour him you do. If one in our world thrive can, think I do that it him is. Reese in his own world already lives. Need we do one that in this world does live. One that he face of your company can be. Jamie more suited to that task perhaps is.” She’d sat still just long enough to say what she wanted to and with that done, she scooted up his lap, her hands gently framing his face before she kissed him, emitting a small, possessive growl as she did so.

Enver:
He didn't say a single thing as she talked, just listened. She was taking Deanna's side and in essence, his side. There was apprehension momentarily as Enver thought about what it he had picked the wrong one and found that out later on down the road? The blame would be put on him completely. That apprehension was swallowed down when she kissed him, his hands going to her *** as he cupped them. He shared a few moments with his wife, ensuring that she knew how important she was and how much she meant to him and his life, before Enver gently nudged her off his lap. "The lawyers. I'd love to continue this after we meet with them. They're waiting. Mortals run on regular time frames, gorgeous." He chuckled and gave her another kiss before he stood and grabbed the files of Reese and Jaime. "Are you absolutely sure on Jaime? Once I make the call and initiate this...there's no going back on our choice." Enver looked his wife square in the eyes after he moved around the bed and swiped up his phone from the bedside cabinet.

Keara:
Keara huffed like a petulant child as he pushed her aside, folding her arms across her chest to perfect the look. She glared at him from under her lashes and yet she knew he was right. She knew they had to go to the lawyer’s office soon but she was sure that they had time enough for what she wanted to do. “Sure enough I am. Certain of any child we cannot be. Sure I am of those that sire I do and yet not all for this life are made. The future that offer Jamie we do, good is. Very good. Think I do that we him happy can make. That we his life purpose can give.” She pouted when she was done, her eyes travelling the length of his body. A wry smile played on her lips before she remembered she was annoyed at him and went back to scowling.

Enver:
He frowned as he watched her tantrum. Why was she acting like this? They had come this far and now she was huffing at him because he wanted to seal the deal on all the hard work they've done the last two week. Enver scowled at his wife, almost the same way she was scowling at him. "Good." He said with a nod, even though his eyes were like a pair of daggers, before he sighed. "Come here." He said to her, even though Enver moved towards her with open arms. "I'm sorry. I love you, but we have to get this done. We don’t want anyone else taking our son, do we?" He looked down at her as Enver massaged her arms with his hands.

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
Keara:
“Have we do time enough,” she whimpered. Having his hands on her eased her pain somewhat and she knew she was being stupid. He was right. The sooner they started the procedure to adopt Jamie, the sooner they could go home and the sooner the child would be with them. Even an hour’s delay now could lead to longer delays in the future. Sighing, her face quickly changed, amusement sparkling in her eyes before she pulled Enver down onto the bed with her. She rolled them over, pinning him beneath. “Go now we may,” she said crushing her lips to his. “But do you shall whatever I say when return we do.” She took his hands and pinned them over his head, leaning over to him whisper in his ear. “My slave till sunrise you shall be.”

Enver:
"No we don't." He scowled harder after interjecting her thoughts about time. The scowl couldn't last though, as they were both on the bed before he knew it was going to happen and on top of him. He grinned when she said they could go now, his hands going to her butt to move her off him, only to freeze in place as she continued the thought. All Enver could do was blink. He never had any issues with doing whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. "Are you alright?" Suddenly Enver sat up, tossing her on the bed next to where he was. "What's going on?" Enver suddenly was very suspicious. Was this like that one time when he thought his wife was his wife and it wasn't his wife? Was this just a dream? Enver pinched himself and pinched himself hard after thinking that. No. Definitely not a dream. Had they been gone from home too long? That was probably it. "Are you feeding okay?" He asked with curious attention as Enver stared down in her eyes.

Keara:
Keara snarled when he threw her off of him. She wasn’t sure what his problem was and she was sure that she didn’t deserve that kind of treatment, even though a small part of her was thrilled at being manhandled, as always. Keara was a complicated individual. Having recovered, she pounced on her husband with the grace of a jungle cat and wrapped herself around him, hoping he’d be unable to dislodge her a second time. “Happy I was. Until threw me away you did.” She’d been looking into his eyes as she spoke, but she wasn’t content with that level of connection for long and her lips quickly sought his, her fangs nipping at his lower lip before she pulled away. “Want you now I do. That my only issue is. And since have you now I may not. Certain I must be that mine you will be later.” She was back to looking into the brown orbs she adored and as she began to lose herself within them, her tongue began to play with one her fangs. This was a mannerism Enver was more than familiar with and one she occasionally did on purpose just to drive him wild but there was no thought behind the action this time, just emotion; pure and simple.

Enver:
Enver groaned against her lips as she bit down on them. "You will always have me. Stop acting like this." He said against her lips as his hands roamed up her back. "I love you." Enver frowned as he started to think that maybe, just maybe this wasn't a good idea after all. Here they were, unable to focus on the real matter at hand. Maybe this was a bad idea. A stupid one. Maybe now wasn't the right time. Maybe in a decade, or a century they would be able to focus better on other things than the wants, needs and desire of themselves. He raised up off the bed, with her legs around him still and looked her square in the eyes. He wanted this, and would still want this in years to come. His wife, his bondmate and soulmate needed and wanted him more than she needed and wanted a son at this time. "You're right. They can wait." He said as Enver captured her lips with his, eager hands slipping under her skirt and finding the 'right' place to take her mind off anything but him.

Keara:
As Enver gave into her she was a momentarily confused. This was what she wanted and yet it wasn’t. She wanted him now, but she wanted him later too. She wanted him to be completely at her mercy and yet here she was at his. Her first impulse was to pull away but that thought all too quickly evaporated as she became flushed with desire. They could be quick. Maybe. And once they were sated, they could make their way to the lawyer’s offices with the aid of celerity. If they were lucky, they wouldn’t lose any time at all, since they had been planning to go there by car. They had a new future to start and while it might not have seemed that way before, Keara was excited for it to begin.

Enver:
With his wife at his mercy, Enver was going to take his time. The idea of adopting a potential heir getting pushed further and further aside. His wife needed him and she was and would always be his first priority. He may have made accidents and stupid mistakes, but he was never at ease or rest until his wife was happy and content. She was his world. His anchor in this world. His reason for being. She was everything. She was unhappy he was denying her, so he wasn't going to anymore. Enver would give her exactly what she wanted, no matter how long it took. Her clothes made it to the floor with ease and gentleness, Enver making sure to take his time to show his wife that she was all the things he just thought and felt. And when hours passed, he collected her in his arms and laid there. Enver was a selfish man, this was true, but without his wife, he wouldn't be nearly half the man he was now.

Keara:
Lying in his arms, they could have been entangled for minutes or hours, Keara didn’t know; time meant nothing to her when they were together. Blissfully content, her fingers travelled over his scars, following a familiar route. “Mmm, thank you My Love.” She kissed the curve of his neck. “Now go we should. Need we do for Jamie in Harper Rock to have before school starts does.”

Enver:
Enver doesn't answer her. Instead, he puts his arms behind his head and just lays there looking up at the ceiling as he thinks. "School isn't for a few more weeks." He replies with a shrug of his shoulders before he’s on his side looking at her. "What can't wait is this slave idea. I'm not doing laundry," Enver says in jest before grinning at his wife. "I always screw it up somehow." Enver has done laundry less than the number of fingers on one hand. He rolls over on his stomach, capture his wife under an arm as he closes his eyes, content with his decision. A decade, or even five isn't that long for them.

Keara:
Keara laughs, shaking her head as she nestles herself back down against him. “Wonder sometimes I do which of us of this era is,” she teased. Enver could build the most amazing traps and firearms and yet he struggled with things like washing machines. It was almost laughable but then he’d never had a need to work the machine himself, there had always been someone else there to do. Washing machines themselves were still something of a marvel to Keara, who still washed some of her clothes by hand when she felt the need. “My slave you were to be after we returned did. And laundry a waste of your talents would be.” Her fingers walked the length of his chest before brushing along his jawline, as she tilted her head to look at him.

Enver:
She was starting to sink into the idea of staying in, at least that's what Enver believed as she started touching him again. "Yeah?" He said as Enver put a single hand on his wife's hip and left it there. "What talents would those be?" He asked with a wide, cheeky grin as his hand came to find a mound of her breast and came to rest there. Enver was also a prideful male who liked his ego stroked. Often.

Keara:
Keara propped herself up on her elbow, taking his hand from off her breast, bringing it to her face before tenderly kissing his palm. “Wish you do that I your virtues do list?” She kissed the pad of his thumb before nipping it as she thought, not that she really needed the time to think. “Many talents have you do my love. So good with your hands you are. Not only in the way in which you my form do caress and my desires sate. Adore I do for to watch you at the crafting table.” She kissed his palm again and moved to get up from the bed so that she could dress.

Enver:
When she got up, so did he and he frowned. Where was she going? An arm reached out as a hand reached out for her arm and tugged her back towards the bed. "Yeah?" He asked her, goading her on. "Just my hands, then?" He asked as his mouth pressed against the flesh of one of her mounds. "Nothing else?" He asked as he looked up at her with devilish eyes.

Keara:
Every instinct told her to succumb to his desires and yet she somehow found the willpower to pull away from him, shaking her head as she did so. “My Love,” she warned, growling out the words as she did her best to reach for her skirt without giving him too good of a view. “Need we do for to go. Sure I am now that quite late enough we are. Our decision made has been. Need we do for the formalities to begin.”

Enver:
He frowned at her rejection before Enver scooted back on the bed and laid back down on it. "I don't think our decision, the right one, has been made." He told her quietly, eyes up at the ceiling. "I don't think it's the right time." Enver told her flatly, after sighing. "We've got a pretty good family. Enough on our plates as it is." He added in believing she could understand and relate to his train of thought, without him saying what he was thinking entirely. "You'll have more relatives down the road. When the time is right."

Keara:
She looked over at her husband and then quickly looked away as staring at him as he was, wasn’t going to help her mind function. Instead she shimmied into her skirt and moved to retrieve her t-shirt before pulling it over her head. “Enver. Spent we have not two weeks interviewing young men for our minds now to change,” she said with her back to him. “Found we have our child. Now dress you should. Alone I do not wish to go, as so good with the laws of today I am not.” She wasn’t sure why he was backing out now. The only thing that made sense to her was that he felt the responsibility was too much for them, which she knew to be untrue. Enver had spent months tracking down suitable candidates and they had managed to whittle their options down until a clear winner had emerged. If they were undecided, she might have been happy to postpone adopting a child, but since they weren’t, she wasn’t.

Enver:
"Make me." He said, rather childishly. There were times this stubborn and playful side of Enver popped out, and these were one of those times. "I'm ready." He said quietly, still on the bed, before looking at her. "I'm not sure we're ready." He didn't want to say her, but he was thinking it. "Tonight is a prime example. What if Jaime needed us and we were unavailable? What if he got attacked by a fae or a thing in the caverns, or anything, and we didn't get to him on time because..." he sighed. "Because I can't take my focus off you when we're alone." There. He dind't have to put her on the line to get to the same end result.

Keara:
Keara picked up Enver’s clothes and threw them at him, determined to keep them on track. She understood his concerns but didn’t share them. She didn’t fear for their child at all. Education was the key to his survival and she was certain that he was intelligent enough to gamble with his life by going down into the catacombs or the like alone. Unwilling now to have this conversation without being able to look at him, Keara pushed his clothes aside and straddled his stomach. With her hands resting on his shoulders and her hair framing her face she smiled. “Too little faith in us have you do My Love. Teach our son we shall. Know he shall what places avoided shall be. Take him together we can so that the dangers real to him are. Once knows he does what in the dark does hide, go there alone he shall not. A tome too have he shall. Always able he shall be for home to us to return.” Her brow furrowed slightly. “Think you do that we our fun could have if knew we did that one we loved in danger was? Irresistible to me, you may be My Enver but so selfish we are not. Always there we are when called upon are. Behave in the company of others we can. Reason there is that we an infant do not adopt. Know this well you do. Jamie neglected by us shall not be.”

Enver:
He let his clothes hit his chest and come to rest on his lap as he listened to his wife. After she was done, Enver nodded his head. She was ready, but he felt the need to ensure it. He stood up without any words, put his suit on and then finally said to her as he messed with his cuff links, "Let's go get our son." The male moved to his wife's side, wrapped an arm around her waist, kissed the top of her head, whispered an address, before he was long gone and standing in front of the office of his lawyers

Keara:
He was cheating as always. Keara laughed at the empty room as she shook her head. Whatever fears her husband had, had passed and he was back on board with their plan. The now lone female, slipped her feet into her boots, buckled them up and concentrated on the address her husband had given her. Arriving at the building, she quickly sought out her husband before literally skipping to his side. Lacing her fingers through his, she pulled him down to her level, placed a tender kiss to his cheek and smiled up at him. She was excited and it showed in the sparkle in her eyes. “Soon our family complete shall be.”

Enver:
Enver wouldn't settle for just a kiss on the cheek. No, instead the male cupped the side of his wife's face with his free hand and sought her lips. He loved this woman with every fibre of his being and wanted her to know it every chance he could show her. "Here we go." He squeezed her hand with his, then led her up the stairs of the building they stood in front of. "Let's start bringing Jaime home." Enver spoke with excitement as he pulled the door open for her to step inside. He followed after her with a swat to her *** and as the door closed the building, all that could be heard was Enver asking his wife to not mention fadebeasts for at least a month to the poor kid, along with some other not so nice things.

Keara:
His kiss had stolen her thoughts but thankfully, there were no words he needed as he took her hand and lead her inside. She laughed as he swatted her on the backside and began to set out the rules of what she could and couldn’t tell him. They would tell Jamie everything in time but even she saw the wisdom in keeping some of it back so as to not overwhelm the child in his first in their home. The first topic they would need to broach would have them explaining what they were and that in itself would be a huge weight for the boy to bear. Telling Jamie about fadebeasts and the other things that go bump in the night could wait; unless Nox felt the need, in the immediate future, to bless the couple with another abomination that was.
