This sounds like a recipe for a chaos! It's asking for trouble. I'm in!

I have been so long master that I would be master still, or at least that none other should be master of me.

Between the vampires it is not one sided, no. So if the two character's paired together are vampires, they will fall in love with one another for the duration of the spell.Myk wrote:Will one party fall for the other who is not affected or would this be mutual? <.<
If it's just one-sided, how is this determined?
Yes. The humans involved will be unaffected, hence the need to pair them with a vampire. They will be the unfortunate target of affection for the vampire paired with them.Niklaus wrote:Humans on the other hand are gonna be totally unaffected, right? >.>
After the pairing are announced, players are allowed to involve other people not listed as taking part in the event if they wish. These characters would not have heard the song and would therefore not be under the influence of the spell. You must have the permission of all involved in the RP to bring in additional characters and the same rules apply. (Your character's cannot be in 2 threads, no alts, etc).Patrick Bishop wrote:I was talking to some and they said if it was allowed that some of the people that have partners already in game should have them show up in the thread and see their other half with someone else and see how that plays out...
It's a thought at least.
By putting a vampire character forward, you are agreeing for that character to be affected by the spell and for them to fall in love with the partner drawn for them. So they would have to hear the song through whatever means you choose. Ambient music in a public location being the most logical for paired vampires, but you can decide that with your selected partner.Myk wrote:But surely it would only affect those Vampires who heard the radio broadcast and not 'all'.
What if Myk has his headphones on listening to his own music and just happens to bump into someone who'd heard the broadcast?
Surely it would be one-sided in such an instance.
Human character's listed are agreeing to be the one the vampire locks eyes on and falls in love with.

Both parties are affected. That's what I meant by saying "locking eyes" rather than the first person they see. It happens when their eyes meet the eyes of the other person in question.Myk wrote:Question!
Will one party fall for the other who is not affected or would this be mutual? <.<

Sorry if this was already said. I must have misunderstood.
