The thirst. The ache. The hunger. It nagged at his mind, at his stomach. There was no way to avoid it, to run away from it. He knew he wouldn't be able to do so for long. But humans?! Hurting them, taking their blood just so he could live. It wasn't right. The thought just made him shudder. It was in every way wrong, something he would never believed true - vampires? Ridiculous. It was hard to come with terms on what he was, still. After five months of being such a creature to roam the Earth, practically dead.
Forsyth sat in abandoned building, hiding from the sun, waiting until it would hide behind the horizon so he could safely walk back home. His hands were buried in his hair, eyes closed tightly. Again, he was trying to fight the craving of feeding. But with homeless people around him to have shelter for the night, their blood running through their veins, the loudness of their hearts pounding in their chest. All his senses were heighten due to his lack of feeding. It was as if his brain was yelling at him to feed, causing him to hear and smell the blood. Even his gums were aching, his fangs wouldn't retract - they've been protruded the entire day.
Finally he looked up when he felt the cool breeze and the scent of a living human being, a young - possibly homeless - girl walking through the hallway he was seated at. His eyes darkened suddenly. No! No! Stop that. He said cautiously to himself. He couldn't harm a human being, he knew he wouldn't have control, he still yet knew how to feed properly without killing. But the hunger...the hunger. Without control over his legs he was suddenly standing and walking a few feet behind the girl. It was like his humanity clinging self was hidden, yelling, banging, against a wall to the now in control vampiric Forsyth. It's the creature, the animal inside him, finally taking that control and charging towards its prey to live.
He glanced behind himself. They were far enough from the other three human's that were in the same hallway, and the girl was heading near a corner away from sight. He continued to follow, stalking, quiet on his feet and hidden with the darkness. Who knew he had this ability to be as quiet as a mouse. But his sub conscious continued to yell, and it frightened his body that he would be heard. One turn at the corner and the two were alone. Spike up a conversation so she wouldn't fear or scream? He needed to play it safe.
"Excuse me, ma'am." He spoke up, his voice soft, low and elegant. The brunette tuned around - she didn't look dirty like most homeless people look, probably in her mid twenties. The two spoke, about little things, the economy - which she seemed quite intelligent about. But the creature that was speaking wasn't interested. He was hungry. Forsyth took a few steps closer, trying to play it safe so the girl wouldn't run. But she already seemed allured to him. It's all but just a pretty face...which did come in handy for feeding...so now his lips were at her soft neck, smelling, feeling, hearing the blood soar through her veins. The warmth...His fangs were already protruded, ready to invade the skin. In such a swift movement his fangs broke the skin with a satisfying 'pop'...
The blood ran down his throat, taking mouthfuls after mouthfuls of the girls blood. She struggled, but didn't put up a fight, nor made a scream - though groans of pain were sounded Most would probably not think much on it if the sounds were heard. He had no control in himself on how much he was taking, no thought at all. But the pesky sub conscious continued to yell at him to stop. But the taste...the sweet warmth of the blood...giving him all the energy that he yearned for for weeks on weeks. The brunette suddenly went limp, lifeless in his arms, her heart beat slowing to a stop. His fangs were extracted with a satisfied sigh, licking the wound so he didn't waste any blood at all. Then his lips. His arms released the girl who dropped with a thud to the ground. Dead.
His eyes were still darkened, but he came forth, fighting off the creature who had taken control in this...killing. Eyes widen, wary, scared, staring down at the young lifeless human who was now dead. All because of him and his nagging thirst that he needed to quench. He stumbled back away from the girl, frightened of himself. The guilt hung in the air, heavy on his shoulders. "Look at what you did you complete moron! his conscious yelled at him. Oh the guilt. He darted from the hallway where she was and past the few homeless people, walking casually but mostly in a hurry. He needed Aliyah. But what would she think? What would she do? He just killed a ******* human! The sun was down, but he didn't want to go to the apartment, he didn't want to leave the girls body alone. He pulled out his cellphone and messaged Aliyah. "Aliyah. I need your help. NOW. Come to this building -" He sent her the address, hoping that she would get the fear and panic in just a simple message. He sat against the wall then, staring at the girl, watching her in hope she would wake up ... but nothing.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
The light footfalls of the lone woman in front of her was all Aliyah could focus on, her eyes and ears trained for the slightest movement. Due to the absolute silence in which vampires could move, the woman had no idea that a nightly stalker was on heels and waiting for the perfect time to strike. Occasionally, Ali would wonder if the humans she hunted could feel the uncomfortable rising of hair on the back of their neck...their bodies reacting to the danger that they was unaware of. If so, they rarely ever turned around, and if they did...she was already long gone with the shadows as her shield.
Her fangs ached with the anticipation of the hunt, begging for the release of the blood. And unlike her boyfriend, Ali had no trouble using the humans for her own survival. Rarely, if ever, did she kill and that was enough. Their bodies would regenerate the blood in mere hours, and except for a little daze, they would be just fine. As would this woman once the deed was done. If only she would slow down.
The blonde's patience was beginning to wear thin, her nose wrinkling up. And just as the thought of giving up passed, she noticed the woman's path. In mere seconds, the woman would be passing an alleyway, and with Ali's abilities, she could hide the activities going on. So, when the time came to attack, she did not waste it. Her body went into action without her full conscious awareness, every muscle tensing in preparation for the oncoming struggle.
A moment later, she phone pinged with an incoming text message and the woman swung around with wide eyes. Clearing her throat, Aliyah straightened and smiled, "Oh, hello. I apologize if my phone startled you. It even made me jump!" she greeted playfully, shaking her head as she took the phone from her pocket. Her eyes shifted to the screen, Forsyth's name showing. Rather than grow angry with his interruption, she took the time to check the message. The words were loud and clear, and his immediate need for her help was rare nowadays.
With a sigh, she set off for his location as a run. It was fast for any human, but not so fast as to appear superhuman. As soon as prying eyes were gone, her speed increased so that she could reach the transit. And the whole ride, she bounced impatiently, her fingers closed into a tight fist. What if something was wrong? What if he was hurt?
In little time, she was standing before the building. It was clearly abandoned, and that meant homeless occupants within its walls. Without preamble, she moved inside and looked around in the darkness. "Forsyth! Fors!" she called out, without a care for drawing attention to herself, and him. The people were easy enough to deal with.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
His legs were bent at the knees, his hands in his hair, staring quietly - distantly - at the woman on the ground. Please move, please move. he said to himself, hoping that somehow his words would push life into the girl's body. Oh she was so young, young like his sister. The thought made him tense up. What if he did this to his sister... He groaned out and shook his head, he needed to stop thinking so much on this. Most wouldn't stress about it, but him, it continued to hit him hard, the damn guilt never stopped. His humanity clung to him, he wanted to live - to be out in the sun again, to eat food, to communicate properly with the living. It was tough for him to accept this.
The words echoed through the building, hitting the walls, the voice quite familiar - but he knew just by the nickname. He stood up quietly to his feet and came around the corner. There she was in search for him, he was merely surprised that she was actually here, it was rare now-a-days that she would be around. Even to help him feed... "Aliyah." He breathed out, his body becoming visibly relaxed. But he tensed again knowing that what he had done would soon come up in the conversation.
His gaze returned to the body on the ground, where he went back to behind the corner, since the woman knew where he was now. He sat down quietly back on the ground, watching, waiting, almost like a protective sibling. Maybe she had some type of way to help bring the young girl back, or reassure him that she wasn't actually dead. But he couldn't hear the heart beat, he couldn't smell the fresh blood in her veins. No life, no color, no life and rise of her chest. Her soul was gone, life taken from her in such a quick time. Her family, Oh god her family... Even though she was probably homeless, there had to be family out there waiting for her, wanting to help her.
Yes, he was satisfied, the hunger ache was gone - but he knew it would spike again in a few hours - but the way he did it and what he has caused upon a human living being didn't sit well with him. It was a mistake, and accident, you're still new to this, it takes time... he tried to ease himself of the guilt, but nothing was working. And in hopes that he sire, his girlfriend, would help him.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
The sound of her name against the brick walls of the building lead her to his location, even though he had appeared around the corner in order to assure her of his presence there. Her steps were far less frantic as she approached his location, since it was obvious he was not hurt. If he had been, there was no way he could have moved as easily as he had when he had just appeared, only to disappear once more. And now, her mind danced circles, trying to come to any rational reason for his sudden need of her presence.
"Fors, what is going o--..." she started to ask, only to come to an abrupt halt as she took in the scene around her as soon as she rounded the corner. Forsyth was practically on his knees, staring vacantly at the body of a young female. She lay unmoving, and Ali's ears did not pick up on any sounds of life. The blood that decorated the female's neck told the blonde all she needed to know, and her heart instantly went out to her boyfriend and childe.
Her steps carried her to the female's side and she knelt down, pressing her fingers to the opposite side of the wound on her neck, checking for even the softest signs of a pulse. Finding none, she lifted her gaze to Forsyth and shook her head, "She's gone..." she whispered, as if he hadn't know that already. There was no way that this lone female would be waking up as a vampire any time soon. Before them was nothing more than a corpse, a shell of the person she once was.
With a quick glance around, she assured herself that were alone, and no one had come along to pry on the situation at hand. Concentrating on her power to manipulate the shadows, she wrapped them around the scene, creating a protective blanket. The last thing they would need is more bloodshed and death, and Aliyah knew that the deaths would be on her hands. She just didn't mind it as much as her boyfriend did.
"Tell me what happened..?" she asked him, softly, as she thought over the best means of hiding and disposing of the body. There were multiple methods to be considered, but with the other homeless humans nearby, it would be hard to sneak her out. And so, Ali needed a moment to think and to understand just what had went wrong. But...she was sure she had a pretty good idea.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
The moment 'gone' was spoken from the woman's mouth he let out a heavy breath of air and fell back to lean against the wall. It was true, she wouldn't wake up at all, never, but he was incredulously about the subject for some time until the words were actually true coming from someone else. A life taken due to his selfish act to stay alive, to satisfy the hunger. He knew he would have to get over such a tragic, it was natural - apparently - to them, the vampires. He had to grip the life of reality of where he's stuck, to survive off the warmth and life from someone who is living, appose to someone who is dead.
He went too far, he knew that. Most vampires had a sense of control, where he was still learning how to stop at the right moment and not go too far. But the damn thirst. His grey eyes were distant, afar, as he looked at Aliyah now instead of the girl. He became taciturn for some time, letting silence flow by them. "I needed to feed, but, I didn't know I would take it this far. I was going to give it a shot, attempt to feed for you. I had no control over myself, I drained her completely." His voice was all but a mere whisper as he stared at her. "What are we suppose to do? With the body?" He took action then and sat up. He needed to get over the guilt hovering over him.
There were people in the building, probably outside as well walking around. Maybe she won't look dead to others, probably asleep or passed out. They had to find a way to get rid of the body instead of leaving the girl there, causing a commotion, a scene to the city, suspension as well. "I killed a human." He muttered quietly under his breath. "This is what I get for not feeding." His tone became of anger, anger at himself, anger at what he is...

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
Aliyah watched the waves of emotion take over Forsyth's entire body. With each new feeling, a tension appeared in his muscles. It was a bit like watching a wild rollercoaster ride...the kind that no one thought they would do more than once, and even then, they regret the decision to give it a try. In a strange way, this situation wasn't so different. Instead of choosing to ride a rollercoaster, he had chosen to feed from a human being. Except, he was naive and inexperienced when it came to this part of vampire life. It set him up for failure, and failure is exactly what he had accomplished.
As his tone raised in anger, her blue eyes fell to the woman between them, her eyes wide and unstaring. Empty. Lifeless. And though she wanted to think she couldn't look past this useless loss of life, it was part of who they were. What they were. Vampires fed from the living, and with that, came the potential for death. "Forsyth, listen to me..." she replied with the same soft whisper as before, "You cannot beat yourself up over this. Most, if not all, vampires lose control and kill, sometimes. Some even do it for fun. Not all vampires are good people, but you are. And this is a terrible accident, but with it, you can learn. And I need you to stay with me, on task...because, this will probably be worse for you than the act of killing her was..."
Even to her ears, the words sounded a bit harsh. If anything, he did not need a reminder of the fact he was the reason this girl was dead. But, he needed to face the reality of the situation, and that meant coming up with a plan to dispose of the body. This couldn't even pass for an animal attack unless they roughed her up a bit, and there was no way Forsyth would be willing to do that. "Can you do a sweep of the bottom floor for me? Keep tabs on how many people are here that could spot us. and then let me know. I am gonna see what I can do to make her look less...well...dead..." she asked him as he gaze raised to his face once more, offering him what she hoped looked like a supportive smile.
It probably didn't.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
He sat there, simply watching the unmoving body that laid in front of them, lost on what to do himself. What to do with himself after all this is cleaned up and sorted. When she spoke he came back to reality from his thoughts that darkened on him, lifting his grey hues up to her features, watching as her lips moved while she spoke. He understood all she said, he knew what they were, what they're capable of. But it still hung deep on him, something that will take him longer than the five months he's been stuck in such a life. The more and more it's spoken to him, it would possibly stick, make him understand on what he is all capable of...
He lowered his gaze with a held in breath of air, something he can never get rid of, breathing would come to him natural even if he didn't need it. "I can do that." It was an easy task for him to complete, the only hard task was how they were going to get rid of the body, how to hide it without suspension of others eyes. A frown creased at his forehead as he slipped his arms underneath the girl, lifting her up carefully from the floor. He held her almost in a protective manner, like a weakling child. "Take her." He whispered as he looked at Aliyah. "I'll wait for you, and clean up the mess. Do you need help at all?" Clearly she wouldn't, he knew Aliyah, she handled things better than he typically did.

Re: Avoiding the craving [Aliyah]
Her blue eyes remained focused on his expression, as blank as it was. He continued to stare at the lifeless corpse for a few moments, as if he had managed to ignore her words. She knew that he hadn't, though, as he finally focused on her face and followed her directions. He was taking the situation hard, and as much as she wanted to sooth it all away, there was no way to tell if she actually could. This was a hit that would stick with him, no matter how often she tried to tell him it was okay. Because, it wasn't. He had killed, as all vampires usually do, and with him humanity still intact. she would be worried if he didn't feel bad.
She stood up as he did with the girl in his arms, and when he offered her the body, she took it in her arms. The weight was nothing, and as soon as he said he would meet up with her after cleaning up, she nodded, "I can handle this, Forsyth...can you?" As she asked, she glanced around the space that the kill had taken place, plenty of blood splattered across from the floor. It was the blood he hadn't taken from her when he fed, and there was plenty of it left.
Concentrating on her will, she tapped into her ability to remain unnoticed and unseen by the prying eyes. While in came in handy for feeding, there was potential that it would give her the aid she needed to get the body out of the abandoned building and somewhere safe to dispose of the body. Or, she might drop a call to Elliot or Pi. They may have a better means, but she couldn't know for sure without asking.
"Do you want to meet me at home in an hour, so you don't have to see this?" she asked, gently, giving him the option to avoid the disposable by all means
