It had been a long long while since that night at The Handle Bar when Domonic had last seen Clover. The two of them had written each other through e-mails and decided that a night out was in order. He had hoped it would be considered a date however, spending time with her again was also acceptable. Wow that was cheesy as hell. What was wrong with him? What happened to the Domonic that would spend his nights chasing skirts all throughout Harper Rock? No! Tonight was not about that, tonight was about getting to know one specific skirt better. He dressed nice but not flamboyantly nice. A black button up shirt and slacks would do. His ever constant blavk boits and shades completed the simple outfit.
He made his way to Dark Eden where the two were supposed to meet. He hadn't been there before so he just kinda stayed where he could see the door and wauted expectantly.

Re: A Night Out. (Clover)
Dark Eden looked like a nice place, at least from the exterior. Clover hated to admit it, but she was nervous about the so-called date. Domonic had been the one to it a date and she chose not to correct him. She assumed he still considered it a date and she had to dress accordingly. No one would know that she spent the better part of the day assembling an outfit; no one would know that she went shopping for something that would actually make her look like an actual woman instead of a tomboy or an emo artist.
Clo needed to get out and Domonic had been the first to offer her a chance. Even before Vic and Kenny. She couldn’t use slumber parties as an outing for the rest of her days. Filling her lungs with the night air, she puffed out her chest and smoothed out any creases on her black dress. Her boobs were covered. Her *** was covered. Everything fit properly. Slowly, she entered into the building, her heels clicking on the floor. Heels. She was actually trying to impress someone.
"Dom?"

Dom heard his name and smiled. He knew that voice it was the ever beautiful Clover. His eyes followed the outline of the dress. "Woah." That one word summed up what he thought in that moment. "You look amazing Darlin!" He was a lucky guy tonight. Half the women here wore less than she did. Say what you want about the canadians being polite and proper, but tonight the ladies were anything but proper. His eyes had already scanned the room but now he only had eyes for her.

Re: A Night Out. (Clover)
Thank you. Two simple words that her mouth, that her mind, wouldn’t or couldn’t relay. She forced an awkward little smile and adjusted the bottom of her dress to pull it further down her thighs. Her focus shifted from her own attire to his button-up shirt. He looked nice. She ran her eyes up and down his form, just trying to figure out how he could clean up so nice. Had she forgotten how good he could look? It had been months though. She had to excuse her memory.
“Thanks, so do you,” she spoke, finally looking him in the eyes. “You look handsome.”
Clo didn’t know what else to say, so she moved toward the bar. There were pool tables. The place had a DJ. There were options all around and she chose to head toward the bar. The realization had her feeling even more uncomfortable than her dress.
“I'm glad you asked me out tonight.” She stopped and let the sentence hang in the air. Without looking at him, she added, "On a date."

Domonic grinned like a small child when she mentioned him asking her out on a date. Good she considered it one as well. He followed her to the bar and ordered himself a straight whiskey before looking over to Clover. " Anything for you Darlin?" He of course was paying for the evening. It would be a horrible date if he didn't. His eyes never left her form as he awaited her reply. He wasn't much of a talker when he was nervous. Yeah he was a former bartender at one of the hole in the wall bars here in the city but those were usually too drunk to make him nervous...and not near as beautiful as Clover here. His imagination ran a bit in his subconscious. Images of her in that dress..well partially in that dress under a cloudless night sky somewhere out in the wilderness, a blanket laid out, a bottle of warmed crimson. A wonderful evening given the right chances.

Re: A Night Out. (Clover)
Clover rested her elbows on the bartop and looked behind the bar to search for options. As if she could drink anything other than blood and the occasional blood wine. The content of the blood, the ratio of her necessary drink, made all the difference. They were in public though and she wasn’t friends with the bartender. She didn’t even know the bartender. After staring behind the bar for a few awkward minutes that felt like a lifetime, she turned to look at Domonic and shook her head.
“I can’t drink,” she spoke, her voice loud enough to be heard over the noise of the place. She couldn’t drink. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to drink. She just couldn’t. "I'm sorry."
She waited for him to get his drink though and turned to study the rest of the crowd. Her elbows remained on the bar as she leaned back. She’d ask him to dance at some point. Dancing was a must.
“What have you been up to, handsome?”

He nodded once and decided if she couldn't drink he wouldn't drink. No need to have whiskey on his breathe if things got close. Her apology caught him off guard. Why would she be sorry for not being able to drink? Her next words made him think. He hadn'tbeen doing much of anything really, besides the occasional run in with Gamgsters and the cops.
"Nothin really just doin my thing. Lookin for someone worth gettin dressed up for most nights. What have you been up to Babe?"
He would hang on her every word when she spoke. He enjoyed listening to her voice even over the sound of the music and the noises of the club. Dancing! That would be next on the agenda tonight. He wasn't much of a dancer but for her he would make a fool of himself. Just because he was an allurist didn't mean he was as egotistical as some in his new family.
