He felt something wrong, he wasn't sure what but something was off. His eyes scanning the room as he put the empty bottle beside him and then felt it again. Something wasn't right in the room but what was it? He slowly blinked as he felt a pain in his stomach, was it him? Was he off?

He stood and slowly walked outside as he found himself throwing up, the clenching of his stomach causing great pains through his entire body as he threw up blood into a bin and felt like he was dying again. What the hell was going on? Was he rejecting the transformation? Why now? It was something he would ask Pi, maybe she knew, or Doc. He was a doctor, or was smart at least.

He cleaned himself off and swirled the last of his drink around his mouth and spat it out as he walked back in and made his way to Klara. He stayed silent as he felt his sorrow grow. Was he truly rejecting the vampuric blood? What would happen to him now?

He put on a mask of happiness and smiled as he looked at everyone.

Nerissa took her drink and made her way closer to Pyper and Beverly, her eyes still on the people around her, both out of curiosity and habit. When she reached the two woman she came with, a man who she assumed to be the groom approached them. She briefly nodded to him before returning to her people watching, until her name caught her attention again. Pyper had introduced her, and she grinned at the man. Hey. This is a cool place for a wedding. Whenever I picture weddings I imagine churches with ancient priests. I'm loving the atmosphere around here." She studied the man, Roderic, taking in his appearance, so that she could remember him later.

[Doc]

Doc entered the address that Skylar had mentioned would be the location of she and Ric’s reception. He was dressed in a basic thin lapelled tuxedo. There was a small crowd, most of whom he already knew. He had wondered about the timing of the event since it was a Monday evening, but that day of the week had not seemed to be a hindrance. He had debated inviting Mortll as his plus one, but knowing ahead of time who all was invited, and knowing how half of them didn’t care for her, made him err on the side of caution. He had no wish to ruin Skylar’s evening, thus he was alone.

Standing not far inside the venue, he glanced at his watch. This was a wedding reception for a wedding that had taken place days earlier, so what did etiquette dictate as to how long one must stay to be polite? He was tempted to text Ariadne and see if she knew the answer.

[Lennox Tyler]

"Thank you, Pi. I wouldn't have missed it for the world, especially since it's a good way to meet others. At least this time around...people don't have to be careful as to how they word things. Klara's party was interesting with the many slip ups. Maybe there should be more get togethers like this. Would be fun!" Lennox was joyous which was rare lately and more so with her new killer personality which let most feelings seem non-existent.

Standing quietly as everyone chit-chatted. She would meet everyone in time but it was rude to just tackle someone with introductions especially when they were talking with others. As the man next to Pi looked to her, she smiled at him before letting her eyes look toward the door in hopes to see Doc. Just as she was about to look away from the door, he entered. Instantly she relaxed and bounded over to him. "Oh thank God! You're here!." She leaned in and whispered. "I don't know anyone here but you and Klara though she introduced me to her boyfriend and I met Pi."

Doc couldn’t help but grin, albeit a bit lopsidedly, when Lennox grabbed him. It was an interesting feeling having a spawn that actually looked pleased to see him, so much so that she made the first effort. “Good Evening China..” He took her hand and tucked it into the crook of his arm. “You have saved me from being all alone.” He was being facetious, of course. “I am in your debt. And as a way of payment, we will play who's who, hmm?”

He steered her to a less busy part of the room, and leaned toward while looking across the room, “Met Pi hmm? She’s my sire, and rather dour lanky person, is Elliot, her main squeeze. Also my ‘sibling’.” He sounded less than thrilled. “The adorable little blonde is Lucretia. The one with the purple hair, is Ner..Nerlissa? Something like that.. that is Lucretia’s spawn.” He nods toward Ric, “The male, over there, that looks like he would prefer to be anywhere but here.. is Roderic, Skylar’s spouse.”

Beverly smiled as her sires wife Skylar approached and hugged her, returning it with one arm as Pyper held her other. A quick greeting and she had flittered off to the next arrivals. 'I gave Pyper's hand a squeeze, wondering if she grew nervous in crowds like I often did.' thought the allurist before turning to give her sire a small peck on the cheek as he arrived. "This is Pyper, my....other. That is Nerissa" I pointed to the pony tailed allurist headed for the bar. "Congratulations sire"

Pi watched Vada, her gaze following him. For a moment she slid her gaze away and smiled at Lennox nodding as the woman spoke then returning to Vada as she went to Doc. Pi’s blue eyes flashed their concern, her hand reaching forward to touch fingertips lightly over the top of his hand. “Okay?”

She was sure she’d told him about drinking, or eating for that matter but like all things when they are delivered in a dump of information you could never be sure what was heard and what wasn’t. Vada, like any new vampire, had already had a lot to deal with, and sometimes the small big things got overlooked. Like drinking scotch and absinthe.

Taking her hand back she let her gaze follow Doc her eyebrow raised at his description of her. Looking down at herself she rather thought that lanky was stretching it a bit.

“Would you like to introduce us Skylar?” Pi asked, even as she answered Elliot in her mind.

I might let you my main squeeze. Dour lanky person that I am.

The mental flirtation (and sarcasm) with Elliot was fun, something just between them to help siphon off the nervousness (and social awkwardness). He was more at home in crowds. Pi, was so definitely not.

Doc always seemed pleased to see her even when he was trying to make her feel crazy but she understood all that now...she was human that learned of vampires from others slip-ups and constantly nomming on her. He was trying to protect what he called the masquerade. As crazy as it was, she'd have done the same thing if she were in his shoes. Though the heads she'd given him...that totally won a spot for her in his heart. "Evening Professor X." Leaning into him as he took her arm. "You shouldn't go stag. I'll be your date anytime you need one." She smiled up at him as she nodded. "Alright. I'm down for a friendly game."

Following him as he lead her through the room, looking at each person as he pointed them out. When he said Elliot, he wasn't all that excited about him. "Rough times between you two?" Saying each name mentally as he described each person, praying that she would remember them later. As Roderic was pointed out, she tilted her head, watching him a bit. "Why would he not be excited for a party that's all about him and Skylar?"

I notice Doc arrive and give him a wave. He seems to be avoiding pretty much everyone but he’s soon joined by the female I don’t know by name. I try and remember the name of his kid, the one I’d said could come but it escapes me and I’m quickly drawn back into the conversation with Pi.
"Sure thing Momma Bear. Just..."
I glance over at Ric to see where he’s at, as he still hasn’t found his way over to me – to us – yet.
"You mind if we give him a minute? Let him come to us."
I want to explain that he doesn't do well in social settings but to do that might be to embarrass him. I'd explain that later - in private - if necessary. For now I take a sip of my drink. My ring still itches or something. I dunno. It feels strange. For someone that makes jewellery I'm really not all that into wearing too much of it. I've never been good with rings. I stretch out the lower three fingers on my left hand, my glass held between my thumb and forefinger, as I begin absentmindedly twisting the band.

He feels the cold embrace of fingers yet his mind is still racing, surely he would be fine, it wouldn't be forth coming to pass out at a party. He gently looked up and nodded as he went to looking at everyone. His eyes slowly glazing over as he kept smiling. He would ask someone about it eventually, surely they would know.

He slipped his cold hand into Klaras as he looked around and nodded to doc, a sort of hello really.
