I'm sorry if my recent lack of letters has worried you, I just wasn't sure how to write what needed to be written. I am still here. That letter is proof of this. But the daughter that you know, loved and raised so diligently no longer exists. She ceased to be as of December 21st, 2014. I wish that I could give you a time and a better explanation but I cannot.
Please know that I love you all so very dearly and would do anything to go back and change the way in which things turned out. I never should have left home. I see that now. I should have stayed and married Lyle. That would have made you all very happy and while I might never have been truly happy in that life I would have at least had my son, my Leo and a family that loved me.
If you would prefer that I never write to you again after tonight I will respect that. But please know that I do not wish for that. I beg of you to accept me for who I am now.

Lana's Story...
Jasmine's desire to seek happiness through potions and medicines of every kind led her down a very dark path. What she needed, she could no longer find in that which could be imbibed and so she sought her happiness elsewhere. The brave female faced those that could be her ruin and offered to feed them. She did not know their names, they were all strangers to her and yet she felt as if they were her friends. So nice and so trusting she was. Until the night came in which her trust was betrayed.
Unhappy with what Jasmine had to offer and wanting more than she could spare, an evil creature took her life. He stole that which was most precious to her and left her broken body for the angel to repair. Beyond help, she had no choice but to become an angel herself. In this though, she had no choice. Her angel gathered her into her arms and breathed into her a life renewed. A life with endless possibility and powers and yet when Jasmine awoke to it, she wanted nothing more than to return to what she was before.
Her angel, June, would not abandon her. No matter how unhappy she became. If Jasmine needed her, she would be there and the same was true in the reverse. Jasmine felt compelled to do anything and everything the angel asked of her, for as much as she did not like what she had done to her, she loved her and she would love and worship her until the end of time.

Thank you for your letters! I’m so very happy that you can be accepting of my new lifestyle. It would have destroyed me to think that you no longer cared for me and that I was not welcome in your lives. You must be careful though. Please don’t tell anyone outside of the family. It could endanger us all.
I’m okay. I’m not overly happy with the developments in my life but I am coping and I did survive the storm. I’m sure news of it will have reached you by the time you get this letter. You may have even felt the effects yourself and if you did, I do hope that you are well. Please know that if you need any help that I am here.
I have two people here now that I care very deeply for. One male, one female. I’d love to tell you more about them both but I’m not really sure what the nature of my relationship with either is or shall become. It’s them, and you all, that are keeping me here. Without you all I truly would be lost. I still miss Leo. I mourn him every day and just writing his name makes my heart ache with sadness but I think that’s normal. I don’t expect that will ever change.

As time passed, Jasmine began to adjust to her new life and while she was still inexplicably drawn to the angel that had blessed her with her new life, she soon found that another angel - by the name of Michael – also spoke to her heart. Love, being the gift that it is, was something that Jasmine could give freely and so while there was no choice to be made, she was able to open her heart to them both. Of course the love that is given is not always returned and while June and Michael both helped and protected Jasmine, only time would tell if either would fall for her charms.

I’m happy! My heart hasn’t healed of course but there are days now when I don’t hate what I have become. I’d love to credit my wonderful female friend with this transformation because she truly is the most amazing, wonderful woman in the entire world but I think it’s the man in my life that has really saved me. I don’t want to say too much because I’m not really sure what’s going on between us or if we have any real future, (though I really hope we do), but I smile just to see him. They both make my heart leap for different reasons. I suspect I’m under a literal spell when it comes to how I feel for her but with him… with him I know it’s all me. I should give you their initials but I’m a little scared to do even that; partially as I’ve yet to find out if I may give you their names and partially because you may read more into his than you should. Her name begins with a P and his with an L. But please don’t see that as a sign, because I don’t want to get my hopes up and I couldn’t stand to have my heart broken again so soon.
I was happy to hear that you were all well after the storm. I really would love to come and visit you all but I need to make sure that you wouldn’t be in any danger first. There are certain things that I need to try and learn first too, but as soon as I am able I promise I will visit. I promise you that you will see that I am still who I have always been in all the ways that truly matter. I just hope that I do not disappoint you in any way.
I wasn’t going to say this, but I really cannot help myself. L and are much closer than we were when I last wrote to you. I wish you could meet him. He may seem a little stiff at first glance but you know I don’t see what other people see. I think him kind, intelligent and handsome. If I can convince him to come with me when I visit I shall, but again, I’m trying not get ahead of things. The reality is that he isn’t ready for a relationship, with anyone, not just me, but I see him almost every day and we talk and spend time together and I think he likes me more than he thinks he does. Oh, I’m blushing as I write that. You may not even wish to know all this, but I wanted you to know.

P.S. You’ll never guess who I found in the city. Robin Little. He’s still here and he didn’t stop writing because life was too busy, he stopped writing because he thought I never wrote him back. You see he moved, and forgot I didn’t have his new address. It’s been nice seeing him again. If you wish me to pass him a message in your next letter I’ll happily pass it on.

Over the next month Jasmine spent much of her time in the company of her two most favoured friends and while others came and went, these two remained as constant as the stars.
As Michael and Jasmine became closer, June seemed to pull away. Jasmine was disheartened by this and while she understood that her angel was just trying to give her the space, to find her footing both in this world and with Michael, it saddened Jasmine as she began to believe that she was losing her friend. Of course you cannot lose a true friend and being her angel, June soon put Jasmine’s mind at ease.
Happiness wasn’t all the fates had in store for Jasmine and Michael however as the mortals, seeking revenge on Michael for reasons known only to themselves (and perhaps being a little jealous of their love), chose to try and punish him through her. One not so special night, they stole Jasmine away and tried to get her to believe that Michael was in fact an evil creature in the guise of an angel. Of course Jasmine could not and would not believe this. She had seen his soul and knew what lay behind his umber eyes. Right or wrong, Jasmine saw only goodness in her friend. Having learned of the mortals’ behaviour, Michael acted to save Jasmine from them and the pair became all the closer for it.
