No questions about the rping from me (yet) but I am wondering in what ways this event will impact the grid if any? More to the point? Will there be property damage done to ant player owned properties? And can we expect to actually have 'no power' on the grid?
What will happen with people that have Tomes? Would they be safe to use? Would they NOT work because the portal is blocked by debris? Or would it be a risk the character would have to take?
Personally I think my characters would be too wary to use one.. but rp wise, from the GM stand point, I am curious as to whether the portals would work if the earth quake caused the portals to shift.

They would damage grid locations, and potentially player owned locations if that's what the owners wish to roleplay. The graphics won't change, other than a few cracked roads and buildings, which will only last a few weeks. But people can certainly use their imaginations I'm sure.

You could roleplay anything you like, really. Because tomes are tied to ritual altars, it seems likely that some wouldn't work due to debris, or the altars being cracked or knocked over, etc. Or if you roleplay them being tied to portals or whatever, similar reasons could be used, if you wish.

I had a question. With human characters, it would make sense that they might get injured. Would there be a possible grid mechanism for humans to gain these wounds that could potentially last throughout the thread?
Human ~Haunted~ Blood Thief
And every creature lends themself to change your state of mind

As the roleplay is set all on the same day, there'd be no need, really. Not everything needs to be reflected in grid, as roleplay is 99% imagination anyway. So you're free to roleplay having a wound, without having one.

THIS WAS A GREAT IDEA, DAVID!!!!
It was a stolen idea. Somebody suggested it on that other thread, and said another game did something similar. But if this goes well, it does give me lots of ideas.

I was wondering about Tomes, myself. Ali is alreasy wary of it. Convinced she'd end up in a black hole. But that could very well be her only way out...
I have a question, too.
Aliyah has Temoral Disruption that I plan to use in this RP, connected to her Sensory Overload. When she does disappear from reality...is there any awareness of it? Does she know it's happened before she reappears? Or...does she cease to exist, in a sense?
