Coding shouldn't be an EXP-intensive activity. You're creating valuable (and necessary) items.

If Evis aren't an effective way to level for you, then coding definitely isn't. Actually, Hacking in its entirety probably isn't. Even constantly doing Raids are only 16-2/3 EXP per energy. It's the tradeoff you're making for pulling bigger profit. If you want more profit and less EXP, do Business. If you want less profit and better EXP, do combat.

This thread was put up to confirm a question about the game. you did that in your first post, the rest has been either drivel about how you think everyone should play, or wrong that you have posted...and yes you are right maybe I did try to correct you, as you obviously have no clue on the value of hacking or how to use it to level or you wouldn't make statements as ignorant as your last.

you are right, you were gone a year, so now that you are back, why don't you take some time to learn to play before you start giving bad advice in a public place? I am pretty sure i know how to level. You can have this thread now, I am done with it. Hijack it to your hearts content, give all your advice, cause obviously anyone that doesn't play exactly as you do is wrong.

I thin I've found maybe 1 source code in the daily random in the past few months. don't know about the sabos cause Tia will only do those on businesses that are a challenge, so i just don't bother.

I was being insulted and talked down to, the last post shows whatever issues they have with me seem to go beyond the scope of this thread. I don't really feel the need to defend myself against whatever's going on there.

Actual on-topic info summary:

- Source Codes either aren't in Daily Hacks anymore, or they're so rare as to be non-existent.
- Source Codes are available through Sabo Hacks and B&E.
- Source Codes apparently sell for $3k+ on the auction house.
- Hacking Raids are ~17 EXP per energy
- Evidence Hacks are ~15-16 EXP per energy
- Scripting isn't an efficient leveling technique unless you're getting Source Codes from somewhere other than Sabos
- Hacking Raids still exist, you're more likely to find one when hacking sometime nobody else is likely to be

Sabotage hacks, at 20 Exp for 5 energy, are 5 EXP per energy. How do you figure they're 15-16exp per energy?

Scripting is a great technique - albeit inconsistent - for leveling if you're high enough level to supplement your source code acquisition with B&E.
