source codes and daily random hack.

i havent got a source code in over a month of daily hacks on 3 chars.... is anyone else getting them? not in sabo hacks, in the daily one

I've been getting them fairly regular from B&E? But other than that, nothing. Speaking of, are hacking raids still a thing? Haven't seen one of them since like, March

hack raids are total luck, as they are often won by the finder immediately, and there is no warning that there is one, unless you are doing your daily hack when it starts.

I have not seen a source code in the daily hacks since all that blew up about farming for them in the team raids. still find them in the sabo hacks, but go thru a lot of disappointments to find them.

Source Codes are no longer available through Daily Hacks. They're semi-common in Sabotage Hacks - I get one roughly every two systems I clear out. Honestly, it would be horrible if they WERE available to get in a Daily. Having to choose between a Code that I needed and $1k profit would suck, whereas getting one for 8 energy with bonus mediocre loot and EXP isn't too bad.

When I was doing Sabos instead of Evidence Hacks, I was finding a Raid about once every three to four days, and on multiple occasions it was there for over an hour before someone closed it out. It has a lot to do with the time of day that you hack - if you're working at the same times as everyone else is, of course you're going to run into them less - it's a respawning world event, not an absolute percentage chance you're going to find one.

I still found one this month even though I wasn't doing Sabos. It popped one up during my Daily, and I sold the Relic last night.

was that in an update? or were they just stopped? and why would you want a 1k loot, when codes sell for 3k+?

If your complaint is that one of your $2k files isn't worth $3k 10% of the time, you can always skip the 200 experience and just do another Sabo hack.

my complaint is i could care less about $ it is the experience that i do them for and sabo hacks are a waste of time. source codes are used for scripting, and have been slowly disappearing from every place you get them, with no explanations

Slowly disappearing with no explanation? They were previously available via raids, sabos, and dailies. At some point they were removed from dailies, probably back when they were selling for less than $1k anyway. They were removed from raids with a very visible explanation, and they're still available via sabos.

If you could care less about the cost, why are you making it a point to correct me on it? Sabos are supposed to be profit-focused, Evis are for EXP. If you need to script a valuable program, you're gonna have to sacrifice some EXP to make it. Otherwise, just do Evis. I don't see the problem here.

not correcting you on anything. just pointed out that you can sell them for 3k on the auction site, i know this from buying them, not selling them. and at the time they were removed from the raids, they were still available in dailies. and evis give...what 15xp/energy, max? not an effective way to level.
