“Lionelli, Lionelli.” he mumbled the name repeatedly as he walked through the bitter cold night. He had over heard the name of the mysterious faction from Velveteen but there seemed to be nothing of substance he could find about them. In the past when he found himself needing information his old friend Jonah was an excellent source. He made his way through the bitter cold night, The Book Nook, Jonah's store, his destination. Entering the warm store he breathed a sigh of relief, the cold wasn't so much of a burden as a slight annoyance, and he was thankful to see the man peering through a box of books he assumed were recently delivered rather than having to search for him. He cleared his throat as he made his way towards the counter to let the man know he was there. Wasting little time he cut right to the point “what do you know of these Lionelli vampires? I overheard Vel mentioning them but I haven't been able to find a damn thing about these blokes. I have gathered that they have no ties to any group I know of.” He leaned casually on the counter, a small smirk on his face “you always know everything, what can you tell me about them?” There was an instant tinge in his stomach when he saw the frown on Jonah's face “Nothing to be honest, they kind of came out of nowhere. They have set themselves up in Foucalt Castle, but beyond that, nothing.” “Foucalt Castle eh?” he gave the man a quick wink “thanks.” Without another word he turned and left the store.
Stepping back out into the freezing cold night he immediately made his way north, if there was nothing he could learn about these vampires from others he would take it upon himself to gather the information. It seemed like the walk had taken forever before the looming building came into view, all of his planning on how to get inside seemed to vanish as he stared at the structure. There was no real hope as he stared at the large wooden doors but he still gave it a small pull. He paced around the building several times, keeping himself low and hidden in the bushes as much as possible, to his relief a window was cracked, if only slightly, but it would at least give him the access needed. It was easy enough to scale his way up the side and push the window open enough to slip inside.
With little more than soft thud he landed on the floor, a rush of excitement filled him, the way danger always did. In the distance he could hear several voices but no words were clear. He crept down the hallway, all his senses tuned to the smallest hint that he had been made. Nothing sprung out at him as he made his way towards the voices, at the bend of the hallway he could see plenty of light, apparently some sort of gathering was going on, his curiosity increasing a thousand fold he could only pray they remained oblivious to his presence. As he turned the hallway, nearly on all fours, the chamber before flooded into view. Fighting the initial panic he pressed himself against the wall, listening to the few words he could make out, occasionally taking quick glances. He had made it, driven to find out something, anything about these vampires he was not going to leave disappointed.
