“Why?” Tomi was suddenly suspicious of why Marva wanted to know where she got them. She had a scene develop in her minds eye of Marva hunting the poor man down in Bangladesh and killing him in front of his invalid wife and two small children. She lifted an eyebrow, as she got lost in her daydream wondering how Marva would be dressed for such a murderous occasion.

“Why? Am I the only one curious about there being a resemblance in the face?” Dulce looked back at the mannequin then finally rolled her eyes. It was not like she would expect Tomi to answer with where she got them just because she asked. Getting a direct answer out of the girl was like trying to pull a sharks teeth with your fingers. All sorts of things would happen but a simple result of a tooth coming into your palm without any work, effort or damage taking place was highly unlikely. Where was her father? “Your father stop in yet?”

The gypsy looked at the fabricated people and saw what Dulce was talking about. Yes, it did look a bit familiar. She had promised herself to behave but this was too good to pass up.

”I bet she did a body cast of you while you was out cold and had some shop cast the parts for these. Something like this is one of the signs of a unhealthy obsession.” she sent her thoughts out to both of them while she inspected what she considered a cute waist cincher. ”Does this come in black and purple by chance? Is cute!” she asked Tomi.
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now

Dulce’s brow perked up and her head cocked so her eyes snapped right to Zodiac while she offered her theory on what possibly brought the plastic likeness to the shop they all stood in. There was hardly an obsession on Tomi’s part. Other than paranoia perhaps, the young businesswoman likely had more invested in stealing her clothes than feeling anything for her.

“Pretty sure that isn’t it, Betty.” She nodded and stepped to look around the shop. “Profits doing well?” She asked over her shoulder then focused on the boots that were lined up neatly before her.

“Ok.. I didn’t ..” Tomi decided to be evil. “Its not like you were completely out of it for a few solid days. And .. “ she exaggerated with an eye roll, “Lord knows I cannot… use a tape measure. Or the fact there is 3D scanning software.. that I SO do not have…” She beamed at Marva, “I saw them online and just ordered a bunch. CD thought they looked familiar.. but he wasn’t for sure.” Tomi batted her eyes.

Dulce watched those lashes bat as if the that was all it would take to confirm Tomi was as innocent as she worked on appearing to be. She was slightly out of it for a few days and a few nights as well. It was a fact she was not even capable of blowing a bubble if her eternal life depended on it. She eyed the woman who took pride in being responsible and decided to give credit where it was due. It was fair enough. Everyone got their *** handed to them and Dulce certainly had hers handed to her.

“I am rather proud, I must admit, that you have been excelling at business and the skills that it would take to accomplish what you have.” Dulce stepped over closer to where Tomi stood and eyed her a bit then went for the answer to a question that likely would be asked again by someone else who arrived to the leather addition in her shop. “You have the eye for what is in demand. Wear it often?” Her long fingers tapped slowly in succession on the top of her arm as it folded beneath the other.

“Me? Pfft.” Tomi rolled her eyes, “That sort of thing is worn ‘for’ someone else. Not for your own pleasure. I am quite happy not having a ball and chain ordering me about.. constantly calling and being needy or horny.. thank you very much. So no. I do not wear it. But I know men like it.. and some women are needy enough to dress like it to make their man happy. My man.. “ she rocked her head and held a finger up, “if I decide to get one,...will be making sure *I* am happy.. not the other way around…”

“You are off to a great start. Taking the bull by the horns and riding it for all it’s worth. It will bring you the success business should.” Dulce looked to Betty then back to Tomi. “Need any tips or advice this woman likely has all the ones you need. While you two chat I think I will take a look around and find out what would look better in my walk in closet than on the shelf or hanger.” She winked and made her way towards a few items that were definitely taking a closer look at.
