Doc smirked at Simon, “Doctor Kevorkian's Guide.. “ He chucked, “That’s a good one Steve.. I like that..” He felt Mortll’s hand slide into his, he may have just fucked up; he gave her hand a squeeze. “True love.. in some cases.. in others it’s just an affectionate ‘watch yourself Buddy’. It’s a fine line. And that fine line, if it is broken, will be the reason you’re in the ******* dog house from time to time.” He gave Simon a serious look. “That’s why you need lesson two.”

“Lesson two, You’re wrong. If you and the ball and chain.. ” He winked at Klara, “I mean wife..are arguing, you’re ******* wrong. Even if you are right.. you’re ******* wrong. She will always be right.. and you will always be ******* wrong. Embrace it now. Become friends with it. It will go on vacation with you. You are ******* wrong and it is here to stay. So when you **** up.. and you will, this is how you apologize…”

Doc turned to face Mortll, he carried the hand he held to lips and kissed it softly. He stared into her eyes, “Darlin,.. “ He lowered his voice, “She’s my spawn.. adopted.. but still what I consider my Spawn. I had to make sure she’s going to be cared for in the manner I expect.. and,” he paused, “The manner in which I treat you.. with respect and affection. I am truly sorry if my actions gave you cause for concern. Forgive me?”

Cupping the back of Mortll’s head with his free hand, he slowly and deliberately pulled her toward him, where he proceeded to kiss her thoroughly. Deepening the kiss, he pushed her up against the wall and continued, Simon and Klara were forgotten about...

Simon stared at Mortll more concerned about how she would have taken everything. Then the kiss happened. Looking upward he was trying to give the pair some time. An arm went around Klara as if she was going to magically help him pass the awkward moment. Occasionally he looked down at the lovebirds. If they were still kissing his eyes went back up.

Once done he smiled, "I'm quite familiar with the she's right, I'm wrong. It's her choice of restaurants, etc. Usually I have some hair brained scheme that blows up in my face thus being wrong anyway. However, we rarely fight. So, usually I don't have to put on my wrong cap. It'll happen at some point at some time. I will apply the advice then Doctor McCoy," Simon smiled. If this was going to be a never ending tradition between him and Doc, Simon was completely fine with it.

Klara stood there with her hand entwined in her husbands, watching Doc shove his tongue down Mortll’s throat, not that she minded it obviously but she really did not want to watch it. She rolled her eyes shaking her head looking at Simon. “Oh for pity sakes Doc get a ******* room, I know how to ****, I don’t need lessons in that” afraid of where that kiss was headed.

As the kiss ended, Klara giggled, as Mortll looked a little moonstruck. She shook her head listening to Simon, playfully punching him. “We have rarely argued and that was only over your mother and Emily and those issues have been resolved so hopefully you will never have to do the whole “Yes, honey you’re right but better take notes on how Doc is solving this.” She teased him.
