Re: Three Guests (Halloween reading winners) Part Three- Mad

"We have made a small journey here in this. We gained an idea of yourself, and how them things come into play. Then we built a view of your potential future." her purple tipped nails sat lightly on top of the deck of cards now as she explained gently with her thoughts. "The last card is the final outcome of all of this- IF you continue on the course of actions that have been shown to you so far. None of this is cut in stone. A simple moment of change can make all of this pointless, but it is showing the most likely path you will follow."

She had noticed it as the entire reading progressed along. Moments of confusion, questions to be asked, yet not. Zodiac felt certain the woman could hold a 'poker face' in some situations, but in the gypsy's 'world' not so much. Without a solid clue what was concerning her guest, she could find herself over explaining the cards and still not hitting on the point that was disturbing her. Unless Madison spoke up, there was nothing she could do. The woman gave off subtle clues that her history of observing and listening picked up on quickly. Perhaps she felt out of her element now or was a type too proud to admit something wasn't right here.

Her fingers turned the card to face her with a practiced grace and she looked at it for a few moments before placing it above the Sword Knight.
"The Four of Swords. A card of truce normally. A time of tranquility and reflection in the midst of a great struggle. Regaining inner strength, fortitude, conviction, form a new plan. It can also suggest a need to be vigilant when all is apparently calm and sedate around you, or a retreat from the more material world to seek spiritual guidance." Zodiac frowned slightly as her eyes flowed over the cards once again. "The image of the card itself doesn't bode much hope either I'm afraid. Yes, this could also be a set back in things, but perhaps the cards are telling you what you will have to endure in order to reach the goals you seek. On the brighter side, I see no where in any of this that you stop or that you will truly be alone in any of this. You just need to lighten up a bit and take comfort and stock in a few facts and keep going."

She opened her notebook and jotted quickly. "As I told you earlier, multiples of cards add a bit more into the overall picture. Multiple swords suggests conflict. Multiple pentacles monetary issues. Two 4 cards suggest insomnia or restlessness. I guess with your residence being violated and other things you have not mentioned that fits. Two Pages suggest annoyance or inability to get along well with a situation of person. Well, duh! I could have told you that without the cards. Sorry, but I can see it in your aura clear as day. Maybe it's me who is annoying you right now." she smiled a bit. "And finally Two Knights emphasize you have others who would council you if you would let them. I don't think that means people in the past, but people around you now you may not have considered before. My overall impressions in this is what the cards themselves are asking you is, how far do you want to go to reach your goals? Plenty to work with, but perhaps it keeps coming back to a familiar conclusion?" The gypsy softly tapped the Four of Swords with her finger. "No one said making the world a better place was going to be easy. You have the time, the talent, the tools, the backers and some people, but do you have the fortitude to stick it out? That is a question only you can answer, dear. Tilting at windmills sounds romantic in poetry, but sucks in real life. I say that because that is how some would consider the efforts of one who wants to change things now. That you are wasting your time."

She stood up and stretched a bit. "A lot of people in history have head the same thing. You are stupid, wasting your time, and so forth. If you honestly believe in what you are doing, dear, it is not a waste of your time. Nothing is eternal, not even us. As Lovecraft said of things on a cosmic scale 'where there was once summer, winter will come, and so will summer once again'. Time works in your favor but how long it will take is a question I can't answer. Days? Years? Centuries?" she shrugged her shoulders. "And as those who fought against the concept of the Crow learned recently, 'change' isn't always the change you hoped for, but things can change. The problem sometimes is what we consider change and what the universe decides it is often is two very different ideas."

She settled back into her 'throne', yet levitated a bit above the seat. "I can't say if this helped or confused you more, but my inner gut tells me this is accurate. As I told you before we started, what has been said and discussed here will stay between us...three." she smiled as Ginny nuzzled against her shoulder. She reached back and scratched the animal's head gently. "You have been an interesting one, to be sure, and I thank you for allowing me this experience. I will not suggest you return for a second reading, unless you honesty want one, but feel free to stop by and visit on occasion and chat. Can't promise I won't put you to work in the process. I listen and I try to help. That's about all there is left of me now from before the night I was deemed worthy of being a joke."

Zodiac placed her palms together and inclined her head. "Blessings of the night to you and yours, Madison Hellbourne. May you find what you seek. If you have any further questions on this, this would be the time to ask them."
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now
