The chapter is 1000% not in any way about the masquerade. ;)

Bancroft is a "Thrall of ???" according to appraisal. Can we at least confirm that he's a human thrall of a vampire (any vampire), and not a vampire thrall of a dastardly Blood Thief/Paladin hybrid? Or not a human thrall of a blood thief who stole allurist powers?

Maybe even just confirmation that Bancroft walks around in the daylight would be a start.

Now, I know we have never been able to appraise Crow, despite several Wraith Guides' false insistence that we can. Any comparisons we can draw there?
