"You are insane!"
"Everyone says that, so why not you as well."
"Do you know how long I spent in the realm surrounded by these.....others? And now you want me to go socialize with them?" the wraith flew in ever increasing in speed circles around her mistress, who sat checking information on the internet. "Don't make me do this, Angela!"
"Don't think of it as socializing," the mystic continued to type. "From what I understand, and I could be wrong, Pratt set this gathering up. Anything his finger is in has to be something not so good, so consider this a recon mission. See what's really the agenda here, and let me know. Probably wants to reveal to humanity you guys exist as well or something."
******
Some nights, her mistress made her wish she could still drink. Dahlia knew it was pointless to debate the issue. She had heard all of this talk before simply by drifting along unseen by most vampires and just listening. The opinions varied. As for herself, she had none. Unless she could one day regain a physical body, such issues were abstract and did not concern her so much. She was concerned for Zodiac's safety, of course (although sometimes she wondered why) but as a whole vampires would either figure it out or be wiped out-again. Again, simple. Over complicating things was a human flaw vampires tended to share, and over complicating things of this nature was dangerous, in her view.
Again, not to herself. There was none left from her time she even cared about now. There was one like herself she conversed with on occasion. The one wraith sworn into service to one of Zodiac's childers. That one could actually make Dahlia smile in the colorful ways she would explain things plus demonstrating her brain was not as gone as the others were.
She drifted past the few living souls into the fairgrounds easy and began to look about. Ears open and listening for clues. She saw others like herself drifting about and stuck to the rows of tents out of sight. She had no desires to engage in the endless conversations of madness some of them had fallen into during their stay in the Realms.

Marcus stared as he got asked a ton of questions. Was he well? Well he had no body to be ill so suppose he was well. Happy? No, honestly why would he be happy. It had been so long since he had a body, he'd love to be able to feel again, to eat food, since he had been allurist.
"My summoner? She's fine.." he replied, Kira didn't mistreat them. Tessa and her fought a lot but that was because Tessa was always bugging her to wear something, fix her hair and do her makeup a certain way so the fighting as far as he was concerned was deserved. Tessa couldn't leave well alone. "She's treats me just fine." he added. She treated her human thrall worse really but from what he understood, it used to be a lot worse. Now she cares about the man.
He only really knew two other wraiths. Prince and Nightcrawler. The latter was new, he had knew Prince way back. And Nightcrawler was creepy. He looked like a demon, he always wondered how such a wraith came to be. Maybe it was actually insane. He only knew that wraith because it belonged to Kira's sister, Dru.
Marcus looked around, was there more around? He looked back to the one who talked a lot. "Are you saying you're abused or that many wraiths are abused?" he asked.

Without regard it glided through the man.
Though the wood display board.
Through the running river of colored ducks.
It felt nothing.
It wished it did.
He, indeed, was "Marcus".
Calm, collective, cautious; it seemed.
One canorous tone was, "Leyna".
She made its form irritable.
"Deanna." The third backed away.
A recluse perhaps, as it had been.
Reiterated their names in a scratchy low tone.
Embedded important information.
Conversation was nothing of expectation.
Instead of standing in line.
Instead of hoarding foodcarts.
Instead of romping about on rides.
Instead of scaring the pants....
It glanced to a mock haunted house.
Direct o're the crowd.
It thought Leyna's mind would explode.
Wound up like the energizer bunny, on speed.
It chuckled.
It hacked a cough
And vibrated in place as it did so.
"Ridiculous." It spouted.
"Abuse? Authority is the solution."
"Be free, but be... this?"
"Absurd!" It grumbled.

Re: Ghostly adventures. (( Open to wraiths ))
"Oh I'm glad you're fine, and treated well"
She smiled at Marcus, nodding her head and watching as the one she'd beckoned over joined them.
"I'm not sure if they are or not - but, well, you know - humans mistreat other humans. And some of the vampires I've seen - seem the sort who would hurt and abuse anyone they could. So I guess it must be happening, ust by a law of statistics really."
She looked at Deanna, wondering if she thought herself abused with the way Enver apparently treated her. Or if she thought herself the aggressor and the abuser of the vampire. It was at this point that the other hacked a cough and then spoke. However, Leyna had absolutely no idea what it was talking about, so she just smiled and reached out a hand to it, as if to shake - and at that point decided that wraiths really did need a way to greet one another.
"Evening.... Sir? My name is Leyna, and this is Deanna and Marcus, and your name is? And what do you mean ridiculous? Why can't we? I've seen spirits hanging around, summoned or just.... appearing. So, why can't we?"

Disgruntled as she was, she had to admire the easy manner in which Leyna conducted herself. If it were noticeable at all in her ambiguous form, they would have noted how Deanna seemed to be almost hugging herself as if she needed protection from those that had started to gather about them but while it was obvious to her what she was doing, it was possible to have been seen as a more reluctant pose, as if her arms were crossed and she were annoyed or bored by those about her. Her unintelligible form was just one of the aspects of being a wraith that Deanna both loved and loathed. In this instance, it was perhaps a blessing.
She didn't speak. Didn't move. She just listened as the conversation happened about her. Leyna was as passionate about helping people as Robert was, so she could see why her spirit had been drawn to him. Had she a little more confidence when among her own, might of interjected with her own opinion or try to remind them why they were all gathered there in the first place but it wasn't her place to try and calm the storm that she saw brewing. Wraiths it would seem were just as prone to confrontation with one another as vampires were. True, she enjoyed a little conflict herself and could easily argue with Enver and Robert both when the occasions arose, arguments with the former being far more frequent than with the latter. This observation had her lost in her own thoughts, her attention now being drawn to the ambient noises of the fairground about them.
