CC had quite frankly had enough.
She'd tried being nice. She'd tried being violent. She'd tried steering clear. But Zodiac just kept on trying to wind her up and start ****. She was well aware of how violent CC could be, as well as how hard it was for her to keep her temper. Yet she kept on poking the bear to see how it would react. CC had promised Pru that she would leave Zodiac alone after the last incident, and CC had kept to her word and said nothing to anyone at all. Zodiac's name had gone unspoken from her lips, as it had at the beginning - until Zo had pissed her off the last time. Now, she'd once again tried to get a rise out of CC, and CC was damn well going to give it to her. But not in the way she was sure Zo was expecting.
She headed home from the sewers and changed her clothes, Zo's words still echoing in her mind and making her gall rise.
"I thought I smelled something off down here"
Who in the **** did she think she was?! She had been the one who had hired CC for an entire weekend of all manner of debauched and degrading behaviour. The things Zodiac had requested were very specific and of a very particular taste. And now she was trying to throw that back in her face? Well, CC would be throwing something in her face - and it wasn't going to be a blade or a fist.
She had a quick shower and then sent a couple of emails, wondering absentmindedly where Lorelai was just now, and then got changed. Once dressed - well, as dressed as she got - she headed out again to her work apartment where she took people who requested a little more privacy or 'specialist' treatment. This was where she'd taken Zo, and she smirked as she looked at the various machines and implements she'd used on her, remembering the moans and the begging words pleading for more that came from the woman's mind. Even the useless voice box had made an appearance under CC's attentions, only seeming to add to Zo's enjoyment.
She headed through to the room that had been closed off, and was usually kept locked, and let herself in. There were a few electronic bits and pieces around that she ignored for now, and headed for a low cabinet that she opened and began rifling through. There were hundreds upon hundreds of DVDs stashed away that she'd almost never touched before. Mostly, these DVDs had been kept for her own safety - but that was before she'd become a vampire. Now, now they were bargaining chips that were kept here, locked away, just in case. Zodiac had pushed and pushed and pushed too far, and now she'd simply added the straw to the camel's back and the cracking could be heard far and wide.
"Ha!"
She crowed, pulling out a specific DVD set that had Zo's name written upon it. It was what she'd come here for and what she was now going to take to the bank to hide in a random security deposit box under a fake name. She didn't want any of Zo's little minions to break into the place and steal it, or to be able to find it at all. In fact, as she stood there looking at the others there, she decided she should probably move them all. Retrieving a large suitcase, she emptied the unit into the bag, and then into a second bag, and then left the apartment - locking the door behind her. In the bags she carried were every single sexual escapade she'd undertaken in that apartment, and she needed to protect her good clients from anything Zo might try in retaliation.
A couple of hours later, she was entering Silks with nothing in her hands other than a memory stick, and a smirk on her face. All of the DVDs were hidden in various banks and 'safe' spots she had, and a couple of copies had been taken of the Zodiac tapes - one of which was on the memory stick she currently held. Ignoring everyone in Silks, she simply headed directly to her office and sat at her desk after retrieving an envelope and a piece of headed notepaper - and then began to write.
"Dearest Zodiac.
It has come to my attention that you are unable to leave me alone. I understand that I am fabulous, and exceptionally alluring - but you lost your right to speak to me the night you left me without a word, and took up with another woman. Again, without a word.
Currently, you owe me the cost of one engagement ring, or the ring itself. I know that you've been spoken to about it, but this has still not materialised. You are also owed a smack in the face, but this second debt has been struck off at the request of one, Prudence, who came to an agreement with you.
However, this evening, you broke the terms of the agreement and therefore I am perfectly within my right to retaliate. Please find enclosed a copy of my retaliation, and be assured that others will find copies should the following terms not be fulfilled;
1 - You must ensure to leave me alone. No comments, no messages, no 'goons', no powers, no rituals, no traps are to be sent in my direction. Nor anything else, not covered in that list. To all intents and purposes - I will no longer exist to you, except to carry out the second term.
2 - You will ensure that 30K is sent to my account on the 1st of every month. I don't care where/who it comes from. But it will come - just as you did, multiple times. For the month of July 2014, I expect the engaement ring - or the price paid for an engagement ring - to be returned to me before the end of the month.
Should you continue to hold to both items one and two as listed above - then the enclosed memory stick will remain between you and I. However, should either clause be broken, the videos contained on the memory stick will find their way into the hands of anyone and everyone you have ever cared about, as well as being uploaded to the internet and various porn sites.
You had your chance. You had many chances. You were warned. You have brought it to this.
I await your first payment.
CC
x"
Reading it over a couple of times, she smiled a satisfied smile and then slipped the memory stick into the envelope and sealed it with spit and then tape. Calling for one of the cleaners, she gave him the envelope that was addressed simply to 'Zodiac', and sent him with some cash to Iris' courier service to have her deliver it to Zodiac.
With him gone. Her night could now continue as if it had never been interrupted.

Re: Don't start what you can't finish (( Zo and invite ))
July came and went, and there was no reply.
August 1st came and went, and there was no reply.
And so, CC's mind was made up.
So it was, that on August the 7th, CC retrieved one of the copies of the recordings she'd made and took it to a computer expert she knew, who had been warned to perhaps expect her today. He'd been well prepped with what to do, and she had every faith that he would succeed. A twisted little smile played on her lips as she strode through town, a little more clothing on than normal to hide the fact her sword arm hung a little funny at the moment. She felt ridiculously weak, in fact, her cat had more strength in her than she did at the moment after that tranny ***** had jumped her. This one was new to her, because there was no physical wound to heal, even thought she'd inspected every inch of her body. Instead, it was like a dull ache in her shoulder and arm that was affecting her grip and her swing. It was pissing her off to say the least!
It wasn't long before she was squeezing in through the fence before pulling back the chipboard that covered a hole in the door, and then squeezing on through that too. He'd told her where he'd be this week, in case she'd wanted to visit, but he was always on the move and changing his position. It kept her files safe, as well as him, as he did all the firewalls and security for her more..... specialised work. She knew that as soon as she'd seen him, he'd move to another base and she'd have to contact him in the usual manner to find out where he'd gone if she wanted to meet with him again. In a way, it was a pain in the ***. But on the other hand, it was exactly why he was so good at what he did and why she employed him. Paranoia in these sorts of people was always favourable she found.
After making her way through his maze, she finally found an open room and knew he'd be in there somewhere. She also knew that she'd have been watched all the way through the maze, and if it had been anyone other than her - things would have gone boom and he'd have vanished without a trace. Looking around, she really couldn't see him, and she absolutely wasn't in the mood for his games tonight.
"OI! FUCKFACE! GET YOUR *** OUT HERE WHERE I CAN SEE YOU!"
Her voice reverberated through the building and a couple of pigeons took off and glared at her. A couple of seconds later, a hand appeared from behind a stack of..... something that she didn't recognise, and waved her over. Over she went and collapsed down onto the 'seat' beside him and waited for him to finish with the page of gobbledy gook in front of him. It took him a good half hour, during which she sat there patiently and waited, knowing that if it were something for her then she'd not want to interrupt in case it all went wrong.
"So. She didn't pay you then?"
"**** no"
"Did you really think she would?"
"I..... fucked if I know. Thought I knew her, then she shagged half the city. I guess."
"Hmmm. So. You want to do this?"
"Hell yeh. You know me. I don't make ******* idle threats!"
The man grimaced and just nodded his head, knowing all too well that when CC said she was goin to do something, she would go to great lengths to follow through. She was nothing if not consistent and reliable in that way. Not a woman you wanted to cross. He held out his hand to her, the other still typing away, and she placed the flashdrive into it without a word.
"Everywhere?"
"**** yeh!"
"And if it's removed?"
"Upload it again. Every ****** is gonna see this. See what she really ******* is!"
Again, he just nodded his head, a little shudder running down his spine as he thought about all of the porn sites he'd be uploading it to from the list CC had given him. He hated those, so much. He didn't understand sex, he understood machines and logic and code. Not..... mess, especially not sexual mess. He would be much happier with uploading it to the other sites he planned on putting it on; Facebook. Twitter. Most google searches would be redirected to the video in one form or another. TV listings pages. Yahoo would be trending it. All the local and national newspaper websites would have it. The various weather websites. Amazon and ebay would look like they were selling copies of the DVD. Of course, ALL the horoscope pages. And a few more he'd find as he went, see what tickled his fancy.
"Payment?"
"Yeh, all set."
Again he nodded and then made a shooing motion to her. She nodded and stood up, carefully stepping her way out of his 'nest' and then paused at the door, looking back at him.
"You remember the emails?"
He simply waved a sheet of paper at her and she grinned and left, knowing it was all in good hands.
He worked his *** off for CC, coding it all, setting up the uploads, finding the links, embedding the links everywhere he could after hacking into all the websites he'd thought of. He'd watched the video already, and he thought it was pretty hot. But whoever the woman was that CC was..... servicing, well, he wouldn't want to be in her position when this went live. Once everything was set and ready to go - he pressed the one key on his keyboard that would set it all in motion, and watched on all the different screens as each one uploaded and went live, then the watched count started to click up, the numbers changing with every press of the play button. It was a beautiful thing, the hacking he could do, the things he could make happen. But he couldn't get carried away with that just now. He needed to send the emails and then move bases. So pulling over the bit of paper, he logged into the email he'd set up for this very reason and then began to type to each and every person on the list individually.
"To: Zodiac, Scorpia, Prudence, Micah, Velveteen, Temperance Avila, Iris von Drol, Jennifer ((thrall)), Neville Silvanus, Abelle Broussard, Alessandra, Karema, Violet, Emerald, Thistos, Seraphine Broussard, Piper, Shamus, Mordechai, Diamond Dreamfire.

With the separate emails sent, he began packing up his equipment, half wishing he could see the faces of those who saw the video and knew this Zodiac woman. Half wishing he could be gone already so he couldn't be traced. But he knew, that within 30 mins he'd be gone and free!

Re: Don't start what you can't finish (( Zo and invite ))
Velveteen was leaning back in her chair balancing on the two back legs with her fingers laced behind her head and her bare feet kicked up on the table and crossed at the ankles. Micah had to duck out and sort out something for the family so she was filling her time with some of those ‘Stupid things people do” videos on YouTube. Watching people injure themselves while being complete morons always amused her and she would react with everything from a chuckle to a full on belly laugh that had almost caused her to fall backwards on the chair a couple of times. She had found one where a guy willingly gets tazered whilst trying to shotgun a beer. She had watched the same clip five times now and was still cracking the **** up. She was gonna have to get one of those things.
Her eyes flickered to the blinking mail notification which she had managed to ignore for the last twenty minutes and pursed her lips thoughtfully. Tazer guy or possibly important mail? ‘Just once more’, she thought to herself and hit replay already laughing in anticipation of the more amusing moment. Once done the woman leaned forward. The front legs of the chair hitting the carpeted floor with a thud as she leaned closer to the screen and clicked on the little flashing envelope to open her mail. The first thing she noticed was the title and didn’t really look any further as she clicked to open the message. Her brow raised sceptically as she read the included message. The sender was ‘A Friend’. She would have thought it was spam except that it specifically referred to Zodiac.
One eye squinted and she chewed thoughtfully at her lower lip as she decided whether or not to click the link. If she ended with some sucky virus she knew she could fix it but would be more likely to just buy another computer. Her finger hovered over the mouse button as the cursor highlighted the link. A sharp tap and the screen exploded into a full screen sized video of Zodiac and....That dirty, hooker *****. The first thing that needed to be done was the volume lowered as the sound of the escapades filled the room. Something she did not need anyone hearing or walking in on, especially while she sat there alone. An amused grin tickled at the corners of her reddened lips and she narrowed her gaze a little, returning to the last tab to read the enclosed message once more.
Interesting. A smear campaign against Zodiac yet no mention of the other. Her grin spread. She had told Zo once if you sleep with dogs you will wake up with fleas. It seemed a pretty safe assumption that the hooker was getting her own back for whatever reason and this did seem classless enough to be right up her mange infested alley. Her gaze narrowed as she tabbed back to the still running video, not at all interested so much in what was happening as to where. It looked like it could be one of the private rooms at Silks. Velveteen had been there quite a few times to kill fadebeasts that seemed to like linger round that joint though she never stopped for too long herself. A wicked chuckled bubbled over her lips. That could not be good for business.
She downloaded the video onto a thumb drive and tucked it away in a drawer before doing a little forwarding of her own.

This is illegal and it violates the rights of those who use her services to the enth degree. The email was downloaded onto yet another flash drive that was then tucked in her pocket while the original was deleted. She would send it from one of the various net cafes around the city and then try to find Micah. Mentally she compiled a list of recipients, The police. The local churches. The Mayors office. TV stations. She felt a little bad that she hadn’t taken the time to disguise Zo’s face but that link looked like it could have already had a million and one hits. Perhaps the next time she gave advice Zodiac would listen.

Re: Don't start what you can't finish (( Zo and invite ))
OH MAI GAWD.
Prudence turned at the sound of a female voice, her hands paused as it was busy wiping shot glasses dry for tonight's crowd. "Wut?" She asked, putting the glass she was working on down and the towel next to it.
Lookit that. A skinny finger pointed to the end of the bar as the woman, known as Jane to her stepped back. Prudence looked but didn't see anything. There wasn't even anyone in here besides them yet. "Okaaaaay?" She asked with a shrug, seeing no one there. Not even Annie, who was out doing what the **** ever some ghostie who thought they were the real true Annie Oakley would be doing.
Killit, killit, kiiiiillit. The woman who was as dumb as a collection of rocks, started jumping around. Without a seconds thought, Prudence grabbed the shotgun that was next to her under the bar, aimed it at the end and waited to see what the **** Jane was talking about. Two seconds passed, three, five and then ten before Prudence looked back over at the dumb blonde *****, shot gun butt coming to rest on her hip.
"What the **** am I killing?" Prudence asked, not really in the mood for Jane's dumbassery tonight. It wasn't the woman's fault, if Prudence thought about it. All the **** Prudence tasked her with made her this way (mostly), so she was now Prudence's burden until she got tired of her and put a slug in her brain dead ***.
It's so big! And hairy." Big and hairy? Prudence hadn't seen anything big and hairy to kill in the city besides a bear and well, the bear would have revealed itself already. Prudence shrugged another time, huffed and moved to the end of the bar where she saw a spider on the counter. Sure, it was pretty big in terms of spiders, but prudence was sure Jane had seen bigger things in the city. Like gangsters, shamen and other big, bad uglies. "It's just a ******* spider, ya git. Just stomp it with your shoe." Prudence turned away from it, ready to discard it.
But it's so big! Prudence rolled her eyes, groaned and then raised the butt of the gun, turned on her feet and smashed it in to the bar, squishing the thing to mush. "There. Big dead thing now. Get yer *** back to work. We open soon." Prudence put the shot gun away, and stomped off to the back room where the crates of beer and other bottles of booze were at. She grabbed a crate of bottled house beer, a crate of some foreign **** from Germany and headed back to the bar where she put those crates down on the bar.
Bzzzz.
Her phone vibrated on the counter, Jane pointing to it, as if a vampire could miss it. Pru swiped the screen and noticed she had an email. She opened it, not worried about anyone sending her anything she didn't want to see, because only a very few people had her actual, legitimate email addy. Well, that's what she thought until she saw CC and what looked like to be Zodiac doing a lot of fucked up **** that she didn't want to see. "What in the mother ****?!" Prudence squished her nose together and immediately closed the email with a push of her finger on the screen, then opened a new window and titled it to CC.
CC!
I just saw the nastiest **** ever! I saw ya knocking boots with someone, looked like Zodiac. I don't know who the **** sent it to me, but it's all over the ******* internet. Ya better go to the site and tell them to take that **** down. No one wants to see all that! Nasty!
Pru
She sent the email to the woman, deleted the nasty *** email with another groan and then tossed her phone on the counter, like the phone was the dirty thing, not the email itself. "******* nasty." Prudence muttered before she got back to work.
