--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
* Emeritus laughed and shrugged "can't blame me for those that can no longer enjoy those delightful human delicacies." returned Eve's kiss "be careful out there love..be sure you get a firm stepping stool so you can reach my ankles to fulfill that threat"
‹Shan› Shan heard Every and chuckled under her breath, shifting against the bench as she picked up another gun part and started to modify it with her bare hands. She iddnt notice the new woman's presence until Micah had said something, and at that she looked up and over at her. "Hey Nix." Was spoken shortly, and then back to her work she went. "Its not rigged, but yes, you guys should all go test them. I guarentee they are better than the ones you had."
* Every gave Em a look, "I'm going to hurt you and not in a way you'll enjoy." She bumped Nix lightly with her hip on her way out, "Hey there." She gave a small grin and stepped out a moment later.
‹Aysel› "I have never had fried... well any thing. And Velveteen, I will have you know I only wear a size 7 at the largest." She grinned at her and showed her that she did, indeed, have rather small feet for her height. She then checked her watch and sighed gently. "I have to go open the club. Sorry I could not stay longer."
* Velveteen's head whipped around having not expected to see the redhead here at all. "Hey Nix. It has been a while. Why are you standing over there?" Waved her further in. "How are you tonight?"
* Blake grinned at Emeritus and laughed softly. "Well, I have been wondering how long it would take a tongue to heal back...." His words were cut short as he spied Nix near the doorway. "Hello Phoenix." A small smile as he nodded to her. He suddenly felt a lump in his throat and as if he was far more noticeable than he had been a few seconds ago.
‹Phoenix› Her hand came up to trail through her hair. The brown dye had leeched out for the most part, leaving her crimson curls spotted with less vibrant patches. It looked ratty, but she really didn't care. When Eve nudged her hip, she smiled, even if it was faint. "Hi Eve... Bye Eve... And hi everyone else." At Vel's invitation, she inched into the room, though it was easy enough to tell by the faint tremor in her fingers that she was nervous.
* Velveteen noticed the sudden shift in Blake's demeanour and she cast another glance at Nix suddenly putting two and two together. How could she have even forgotten that? Though in all honesty she still had no real ******* clue what transpired and as far as she could tell..neither did any of those involved. Better to just move on in the circusmtances she figured.
* Aysel glanced at the newest stranger and decided it really was time to go. She was feeling more than a little uncomfortable around people she didn't know, and at least at the club she could hide in her office. She gave the woman a faint smile as she eased past her and out the door.
‹Phoenix› At Emeritus' approach, she blinked owlishly, honey brown eyes going wide. It took her a half second to long to react, but she took the extended hand and even managed to smile. "Yeah... I'm Nix - Phoenix. Nice to meet you." It seemed to take her another second to remember Vel had asked her a question. "I'm... alright. I think. How're you?"
* Blake thought better of simply standing there and moved back over to Shan. He knew it could potentially be obnoxious but he wanted to watch how she manipulated the part of a gun she was currently working on. It was far more delicate and precise work than any he had ever done on his swords for the most part and for it to seem like it was only second nature to the female gunsmith left him smiling as he watched her work.
* Velveteen watched Aysel leave and took in the weirdness that Nix was displaying but her focus soon turned on Shan. Something about her seemed different than the last couple of times they had met and while she hadn't been around long to Vel's knowledge she seemed quite at home among these people. The train had left the station and her thought process began to wander. "So Shan...I know you and I haven't spoken a whole lot. How did you and Micah meet?"
‹Shan› Shan didnt notice a thing. She sank into her work, one part modified turned into two, then three, and suddenly she had a new gun crafted that was a beautiful piece of artwork. She handed it out for Blake to inspect. Seraphine welcomed Phoenix, grinning at her while she held her hand out too. "Hello!" Shan's attention went from her gun in Blakes hands to Velveteen, and she blinked. "Uh. At a fight night, I believe?" Though she wasnt entirely sure, "I dont know, maybe it was a hunt while I was in Tytonidae."
* Micah cringed a bit at his wife's question to Shan. His eyes flicked over to the woman at the crafting bench waiting to see how she'd react. The urge to get up and walk out the door was suddenly strong. He didn't need to worry though, as Shan answered the question better than he had expected.
‹Nyla› She snuck back in, figuring she should come back seeing as how she'd left without a word earlier. Her eyes raked over all the new people, inwardly smiling that more people had come out to Shan's shindig. Even if it meant increasing the odds that she was likely to have a meltdown.
* Velveteen laughed , the tone light and amused. "Right. I think I would know if you were in Ty babe. Unless I heard that wrong. Had we hunted you then? I don't tend to keep track of those things." Her eyes turned to her husband inquiringly.
* Blake took the gun as it was offered and turned it over in his hands. It was damn near perfect. It sat a little strangely in his hands but that was common for him after being so used to his own gun for so long. "A truly beautiful gun, Shan, I hope someone finds it helpful in the coming nights." Feeling his phone vibrate he set the gun down and looked at his phone. A brief pause given before typing out a response.
* Micah sighed softly. "Babe...I explained this to you awhile ago." He was positive that he had. And if he hadn't then that was definitely a conversation that they would be having later. "At one point in time Shan was indeed a member of the faction but for some reason or another you've forgotten everything to do with her." More than you actually realize, but that wasn't spoke out loud.
‹Phoenix› With Seraphine offering her hand, she released Emeritus' grip and turned to the woman; the human woman. While those honey brown eyes scanned the woman's face, her thoughts skimmed the woman's mind. Shan's thrall. "Nice to meet you, too? Are those blood bags for us?" she asked, having just spotted the 'refreshments'.
* Emeritus hopped up on a desk, sitting cross legged as he removed his gun from the holster on his hip, keeping his lowered as he removed the cartridge, making sure the chamber was empty as he polished the pistol. He slowly lifted his eyes to Vel, keeping his voice quiet "any chance you could muster a few souls for me when I decide to leave?"
‹Nyla› Her eyes narrowed at the interactions between the trio, so pushing aside her general dislike for jumping into things she made her way towards Micah, doing her best to look apologetic. "Sorry for just disappearing earlier."
‹Shan› Shan chuckled and shook her head slowly, then nodded at Blake. "Thanks." She looked back to Vel, clearly trying to give the woman as much of her attention as possible. She looked over to Micah, hearing the truth in his voice, she looked back to Vel. "Pretty much."
