--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

* Emeritus laughed and shrugged "can't blame me for those that can no longer enjoy those delightful human delicacies." returned Eve's kiss "be careful out there love..be sure you get a firm stepping stool so you can reach my ankles to fulfill that threat"

‹Shan› Shan heard Every and chuckled under her breath, shifting against the bench as she picked up another gun part and started to modify it with her bare hands. She iddnt notice the new woman's presence until Micah had said something, and at that she looked up and over at her. "Hey Nix." Was spoken shortly, and then back to her work she went. "Its not rigged, but yes, you guys should all go test them. I guarentee they are better than the ones you had."

* Every gave Em a look, "I'm going to hurt you and not in a way you'll enjoy." She bumped Nix lightly with her hip on her way out, "Hey there." She gave a small grin and stepped out a moment later.

‹Aysel› "I have never had fried... well any thing. And Velveteen, I will have you know I only wear a size 7 at the largest." She grinned at her and showed her that she did, indeed, have rather small feet for her height. She then checked her watch and sighed gently. "I have to go open the club. Sorry I could not stay longer."

* Velveteen's head whipped around having not expected to see the redhead here at all. "Hey Nix. It has been a while. Why are you standing over there?" Waved her further in. "How are you tonight?"

* Blake grinned at Emeritus and laughed softly. "Well, I have been wondering how long it would take a tongue to heal back...." His words were cut short as he spied Nix near the doorway. "Hello Phoenix." A small smile as he nodded to her. He suddenly felt a lump in his throat and as if he was far more noticeable than he had been a few seconds ago.

‹Phoenix› Her hand came up to trail through her hair. The brown dye had leeched out for the most part, leaving her crimson curls spotted with less vibrant patches. It looked ratty, but she really didn't care. When Eve nudged her hip, she smiled, even if it was faint. "Hi Eve... Bye Eve... And hi everyone else." At Vel's invitation, she inched into the room, though it was easy enough to tell by the faint tremor in her fingers that she was nervous.

* Velveteen noticed the sudden shift in Blake's demeanour and she cast another glance at Nix suddenly putting two and two together. How could she have even forgotten that? Though in all honesty she still had no real ******* clue what transpired and as far as she could tell..neither did any of those involved. Better to just move on in the circusmtances she figured.

* Aysel glanced at the newest stranger and decided it really was time to go. She was feeling more than a little uncomfortable around people she didn't know, and at least at the club she could hide in her office. She gave the woman a faint smile as she eased past her and out the door.

‹Phoenix› At Emeritus' approach, she blinked owlishly, honey brown eyes going wide. It took her a half second to long to react, but she took the extended hand and even managed to smile. "Yeah... I'm Nix - Phoenix. Nice to meet you." It seemed to take her another second to remember Vel had asked her a question. "I'm... alright. I think. How're you?"

* Blake thought better of simply standing there and moved back over to Shan. He knew it could potentially be obnoxious but he wanted to watch how she manipulated the part of a gun she was currently working on. It was far more delicate and precise work than any he had ever done on his swords for the most part and for it to seem like it was only second nature to the female gunsmith left him smiling as he watched her work.

* Velveteen watched Aysel leave and took in the weirdness that Nix was displaying but her focus soon turned on Shan. Something about her seemed different than the last couple of times they had met and while she hadn't been around long to Vel's knowledge she seemed quite at home among these people. The train had left the station and her thought process began to wander. "So Shan...I know you and I haven't spoken a whole lot. How did you and Micah meet?"

‹Shan› Shan didnt notice a thing. She sank into her work, one part modified turned into two, then three, and suddenly she had a new gun crafted that was a beautiful piece of artwork. She handed it out for Blake to inspect. Seraphine welcomed Phoenix, grinning at her while she held her hand out too. "Hello!" Shan's attention went from her gun in Blakes hands to Velveteen, and she blinked. "Uh. At a fight night, I believe?" Though she wasnt entirely sure, "I dont know, maybe it was a hunt while I was in Tytonidae."

* Micah cringed a bit at his wife's question to Shan. His eyes flicked over to the woman at the crafting bench waiting to see how she'd react. The urge to get up and walk out the door was suddenly strong. He didn't need to worry though, as Shan answered the question better than he had expected.

‹Nyla› She snuck back in, figuring she should come back seeing as how she'd left without a word earlier. Her eyes raked over all the new people, inwardly smiling that more people had come out to Shan's shindig. Even if it meant increasing the odds that she was likely to have a meltdown.

* Velveteen laughed , the tone light and amused. "Right. I think I would know if you were in Ty babe. Unless I heard that wrong. Had we hunted you then? I don't tend to keep track of those things." Her eyes turned to her husband inquiringly.

* Blake took the gun as it was offered and turned it over in his hands. It was damn near perfect. It sat a little strangely in his hands but that was common for him after being so used to his own gun for so long. "A truly beautiful gun, Shan, I hope someone finds it helpful in the coming nights." Feeling his phone vibrate he set the gun down and looked at his phone. A brief pause given before typing out a response.

* Micah sighed softly. "Babe...I explained this to you awhile ago." He was positive that he had. And if he hadn't then that was definitely a conversation that they would be having later. "At one point in time Shan was indeed a member of the faction but for some reason or another you've forgotten everything to do with her." More than you actually realize, but that wasn't spoke out loud.

‹Phoenix› With Seraphine offering her hand, she released Emeritus' grip and turned to the woman; the human woman. While those honey brown eyes scanned the woman's face, her thoughts skimmed the woman's mind. Shan's thrall. "Nice to meet you, too? Are those blood bags for us?" she asked, having just spotted the 'refreshments'.

* Emeritus hopped up on a desk, sitting cross legged as he removed his gun from the holster on his hip, keeping his lowered as he removed the cartridge, making sure the chamber was empty as he polished the pistol. He slowly lifted his eyes to Vel, keeping his voice quiet "any chance you could muster a few souls for me when I decide to leave?"

‹Nyla› Her eyes narrowed at the interactions between the trio, so pushing aside her general dislike for jumping into things she made her way towards Micah, doing her best to look apologetic. "Sorry for just disappearing earlier."

‹Shan› Shan chuckled and shook her head slowly, then nodded at Blake. "Thanks." She looked back to Vel, clearly trying to give the woman as much of her attention as possible. She looked over to Micah, hearing the truth in his voice, she looked back to Vel. "Pretty much."

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

‹Shan› Seraphine nodded and gripped the womans hand as tightly as she could, though her vampiric strength proved to be too much as she winced slightly at the pinching of skin and bone. "Y-yes. I am not. They are." The first joke had been better, and she desperately tried to correct it. "I mean, I brought the refreshiments, and its not me." She smiled sheepishly as she tried to get her hand back.

‹Velveteen› Her brow furroed and she tilted her head. That sounded so very strange. She knew her memory could be testy at best but to forget something like that seemed very...unlike her. "Oh. So....why did she leave?" The question was genuine and now she couldn't help but wonder what had truly happened.

* Velveteen nodded at Em kinda distractedly. "Sure can."

* Micah offered Nyla a tight smile telling her without words that he wasn't pissed off. The interactions between Vel and Shan were doing nothing to help his mood and the more Vel questioned him the worse it got. "Later." It came out in a snarl that usually meant pushing him would be a very bad idea. Knowing that he was at his limit he headed for the door. "I'll try to return later. If not, have a good night y'all."

* Emeritus smiled and nodded to Micah "be safe mate" he turned his attention back to his gun, it was as polished as it was going to get but there seemed little else to keep his focus.

* Blake turned to listen to the conversation at hand and smiled as he continued to fiddle on his phone as if he were searching for something. "Must've been even before my time Vel, I don't recallShan being involved in Tytonidae...unless my memory is shitty or something."

‹Velveteen› Now that was weird. His reaction only served to feed her curiousity and she eyed Shan for a moment to see if the other woman could provide any insight. Her eys narroed and her teeth scored slowly across her lower lip. Something was going on here and now she needed to know what. She jumped off the desk to follow her husband. "Sorry guys. Gotta go. Thanks for the evening and well done Shan. You have done some awesome work. Night Blake, Em, Nix." With that she disappeared through the door hot on the heels of Micah.

‹Phoenix› "Sorry - of course I meant the bags." She released Seraphine's hand before inching over to collect one of the bags. After puncturing the sac with a straw, she went about sipping. The fine tremor in her hands had subsided as she calmed. Breathe, Nix... Breathe... she told herself on repeat, but with Micah and Vel leaving, she wasn't quite heeding her own advice.

‹Phoenix› "Night you two..."

* Blake watched as Vel and Micah both headed out one after the other. "Good night both of you" He had just gotten the words out when the door closed behind Vel. A soft sigh and his attention went back to his phone where he began to mumble about 'stupid people and the prices they put on things'.

‹Shan› "Yeah, course. Have a good night Sire." She muttered, rubbing her forehead before she nodded and glanced over to the redhead. "Hey, you got a good gun? Or use the .308 ammo?"

* Emeritus lifted his head at the mention of ammo "how much you charging Shan? I could use a few more rounds myself...oh, and actually wanted to know if you could fix my blade, don't think she has much life left in her."

* Phoenix inched over to Shan to watch the woman work, trying to hide the shaking in her hands behind the blood pack. Her eyes darted to Blake for a moment before skittering away, back to the weaponry. "I have a gun, yeah. She's called Demise; quite a nice build, too, and it does take .308 ammo."

* Blake smiled as Emeritus mentioned blades. He looked to Shan and then back to Emeritus not wanting to steal her thunder but to say it was one of his greatest hobbies would have been a gross understatement. Hell, he'd even leveled one of his business just to get in to the forging business. He eyes darting to Nix for a moment before darting down to the thin long bag he had tied around his waist.

‹Shan› Shan raised a brow, lo0oking over to Seraphine. The thrall skipped to the ammo bag and pulled out more, taking it over to Em with a grin. "There ya go, its on the house! Everyone got at least a thousand rounds who showed up tonight." She nodded and turned, heading back to the wall full of weapons. "Hold up." Shan told Ser, then motioned to the ammo bag. "Get her ammo. Blake, you've got a blade, dont ya?" Shan smirked, seeing his reaction.

* Blake shrugged at Shan's question and untied the bag from around his waist. "I only brought a few, I wasn't all that sure if you'd need them or want them." Setting the bag against the wall he motioned Emeritus over as he pulled out one piece after another. One looking like a one handed and oddly ornate baseball bat, A few different styles of swords and a couple of wicked looking axes. "What is your particular poison? You want something with a little more weight behind it or something more durable or something in between?"

* Emeritus smiled and nodded "greatly appreciated" he removed the blade, giving it a quick twirl "it's held good for a while but apparently saw a bit too much use" he sighed.

‹Phoenix› A bright smile curled her lips at Shan's generosity. She hadn't meant to show up at all, but despite her nerves, she was glad she had. When Seraphine brought over the ammo, she thanked first the thrall, and then turned to Shan. "This is lovely. If you need anything, let me know, alright?" Turning to Emeritus, her head tipped, mottled red curls sliding over her shoulder. "Did you get those spirits you needed? I... overheard."

* Emeritus his eyes traveled slowly over the pieces Blake was showing "I'm more of a gun man myself, but I always favour something that has some strength to it. This piece from Micah has been amazing, but I am one to prefer a bit of style as well" he laughed quietly "so something that is both beautiful to look at but will easily remove a head." he shifted his gaze to Nix "sadly, no. I'll have to track her down later perhaps...really need to learn that trick myself."

‹Phoenix› Offering the man a smile, she gave a shrug. "How many do you need? I can summon some for you," she offered, then letting her tone drop ominously. "But there's a catch. You need to tell me two things about yourself." Clearly, she was kidding about the catch, but she still did want two tidbits of information. Social gathering was doubling as a means of doing her homework.

* Blake pondered for a moment and then picked up a hefty yet small sized axe and then a short bladed yet wicked looking knife. "Well, I have these two, my sharpest being the knife" He held out the black handled blade. "And the most intimidating being this little beauty." He held out a large headed axe that has a stabbing point seemingly built in to the pommel.

* Emeritus nodded "absolutely...anything you want to know in particular? as for how many, it's really a matter of how many you would be able to spare. anything around, oh, 14 or so would be marvelous."

* Emeritus took the axe in his hand "may I?" he gave it a quick spin "hmmm, she's beautiful." placed the axe back down, picking up the knife and giving it a few slices in the air "this knife is fantastic. how much?"

--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--

‹Shan› Admiring the work of Blakes, Shan smiled lightly and scooted her stool out from under her. Glancing at her watch, the woman had been sitting in the same spot for over twelve hours now. Standing and stretching her arms above her head, her back popped and cracked several times the same as her neck when she rolled it around atop her shoulders after dropping her arms. Smacking her lips a couple times, she crossed over to the buckets and plucked a blood pack out, moving to a recliner and plopping down in it with a sigh of relief as she uncapped the blood and took a swig. Seraphine started cleaning up, moving the excess parts off the table and packing them in the same bag they had come in, except for Szabina's bag, that was ripped and wouldn't serve for anything useful. Seraphine picked that up and walked it to the trashcan right around the same time Shan chuckled at Emeritus. "When will you learn, **** is usually free when you are among friends."

‹Phoenix› "I can do 14, but I'd appreciate it if you could come to a shop with me after, just so I don't have to run back and forth for blood. It really wouldn't be polite to take it all," she gestured to the bags Seraphine had provided." She smiled, shrugging a shoulder. "Whatever you want to tell me. That axe looks awesome, by the way." She meant the compliment to Blake, of course, but the axe would have been her choice of the two.

* Emeritus he grinned at Shan "I don't think I'll ever get used to free things, when I was doing everything alone I certainly ran into some good hustlers in this city. Fully appreciate everything the family and friends have done for me" he smirked playfully "just always figure I'd be rude if I expected handouts you know...and I'll follow you to a shop Nix, I'm not putting a rush on it, just wanted to try to get a few before hunting a few more paladins."

* Phoenix nodded. "We can go after. I'm not in any rush either. If I get any nice sword parts, do you guys want them?"

‹Shan› Seraphine shoved the bag at Nix, insisting. "Its the same as everyone else got, honestly." Ser held the heavy bag up to Nix with one hand (not easily) and grabbed Nixes hand with the other, forcing her to take the bag from her with a smile. She nodded reassuringly, then moved to pack up the rest of the supplies for Shan while Shan lounged and uttered a yawn. "Nah, I think I'm moving on to fighting again. Sitting on my *** all day has started to get to me. I'm sure Micah will take em, or hey, Blake will."

* Emeritus placed the gun back into it's holster "so, two things, yes? well, my favourite drink after a long night of hunting is absinthe and when it's time to fight..not hunt..but fight, I tend to listen to Bach on my ipod." he laughed "two random bits, yes?"

* Phoenix nodded, a bright smile on her lips. "Those work fantastically. Thank you!" Homework assignment status: COMPLETE. She looked very pleased with herself. "I feel like I should share something, too..."

* Blake smiled and nodded. "I'm always in the market for a few good parts. Picked up a near perfect hilt the other day for just under six hundred bucks. It was a damn steal." He chuckled and then placed the axe in Emeritus's hand before tossing the knife back in the bag hoping that the weight of it didn't catch the poor guy off guard.

* Emeritus bowed his head "thank you very much. want the old blade in return?"

‹Phoenix› "If I get anything decent, I'll pass it your way, Blake." Her eyes flicked to Emeritus, after glancing to her watch and scrunching up her nose. "I know I said no rush, but I think I've got to run. You mind coming with me now so I can get you the spirits?"

* Blake shrugged. "You could probably do with the money more than I could with that particular blade. Maybe it will net you a feed bag of blood at a shop or something so you don't have to actually worry about feeding."

* Blake smiled at Nix and nodded. "It would be greatly appreciated Phoenix and they won't go to waste, that much I can promise."

* Emeritus nodded "where we going cherie? suppose it's about time to hit the sewers as well."

‹Phoenix› "They'll be better off with someone that can actually use them... they'd just rot in my bag. I can make fine guns, but not swords... not at all." To Emeritus, she inclined her head to the door. "Does Bullwood work for you?"

‹Shan› Shan dozed in her chair while Seraphine finished cleaning up the place, moving chairs back to where they were supposed to go as she put the final touches on making the place identical to the way it had been when the two of them had first gotten there over twelve hours ago. Seraphine set everything by Shan's chair, and moved to pack up the crafting bench for Bunny who was sleeping against the wall near it. After the bench was packed up, Seraphine collected Bunny and moved her to the couch, placing a blanket over her before smiling to Em and Nix. "Goodnight you two, Shan and I appreciated your visit tonight. Be safe." She smiled and sat down there, next to Shan, waiting for the woman to be ready to go.

* Emeritus placed the gun back in it's holster and hopped from the desk "perfectly fine by me" gave a nod to Shan "thank you again for the ammo and for having this little party" grasped Blake's hand and gave him another firm shake "was a pleasure mate, look forward to seeing you again. take care of yourself out there, yeah?" he paused at the door "see you soon Nix..and thanks for doing this"

* Blake smiled as he watched Seraphine and then looked back at Em took his hand. "Indeed, you keep yourself out of trouble now ya hear? I don't wanna find out you went and did something silly." He motioned to the door. "Lady, gentleman, shall we? I think things are about wrapping up here."

* Phoenix smiled and tipped her head to Shan in thanks before following Emeritus to the door and stopping. When he stopped, she gave him a light nudge towards the stairs. "Fadeportal up there... it's quickest." With a furtive glance to Blake that could have meant a thousand different things, the redhead lead the way up the stairs and out the portal.

* Blake waited until the other two went first before heading towards the fadeportal. "Tell Shan I said good evening and thank you for her time and the wonderful night." He spoke softly to who he assumed was Shan's thrall before stepping through the portal and vanishing.

‹Shan› Shan had waved back to them as they each left, slowly, small waves that probably werent seen. She smiled finally when the room got quiet, as it had been at the start of the event. Putting both hands in the air balled into fists, she grinned. "Legend." She muttered, extending digits slowly and letting her hands fall slowly back to her stomach to insinuate bombs or fireworks. Shan tucked the recliner back into itself and sat back up then after a moment, looking down to the side at Seraphine and reaching to ruffle the womans short spikey hairstyle. "Lets go home babe."
"Of course. I can get everything but the weapons that were left."
"Alright. Did you have a good time?
"Of course I did! Seeing Nish, then meeting all those new people... I really had a blast Shan."
"Good... good."

Shan picked up the last bag left as Seraphine had picked everything else up for her, and she pulled out her tome and opened it so the mortal could read from it first and safely get home without having to go through any of the portals or stations. "Awesome." The singular word was left in an empty room as she read the tome then and finally followed after Nyla and Seraphine.
