Week 1

Dulce Periculum: The blonde walked in to the office. Was she supposed to be there? Not entirely. It was suggested there was a possibility she could benefit from the attempt at what the man had been rumored to be working miracles at. Doc of all people. Go figure. The brush of leather and the subtle hiss of warm black silk of cool Brazilian pampered skin announced she had arrived. Of course she had. Lips barely parted, natural but still bold parted just a little and made the plump flesh seem far more thick than they truly were. Her face was expressionless and her eyes stilled on the man who moved around as if he could be prey. She did not ask because she felt no need to. The open seat across from the desk spoke to her whether he did or not. Her unusual height reduced to claiming the seat as she settled back to fold one lethally long leg over the other in the most relaxed manner to the side. Her long fingers sliding down the arms of the chair until the tips of her fingers finally sink down and lock in her grip as if she was told to hold on tight.

Doc: “Why are you here?”

Dulce Periculum: “Sensitivity training.”

Doc: Doc nods.

Dulce Periculum: They sat in silence for an hour, he looks at his watch and looks at her. "I think that was a productive hour.. you?"

Dulce Periculum: She lifts her otherwise motionless hand from the last hour and glances at her sparkling watch then stands claiming the soles of her boots she walked in on. "Time is up."

Doc: Doc nods in silent agreement. It had been a fruitful hour. He had written up case notes on two files, while getting paid for a third. "Same time next week?"

Dulce Periculum: She nodded, as she barely took in the full presence of his body as she moved past where he sat and closed the door behind her.

Doc nodded, making a mental note to buy a new plant and not place it by the office door in the future. The plant's fronds withered, shriveled and darkened as Dulce paused to open the door and exit.

Week 2

Doc: “Your manager called.. said he saw you push a homeless man in front of a car..”

Dulce Periculum: "Yes."

Dulce Periculum: Blinks.

Doc: Doc nods, "Do not do that when people are watching you. Agreed?"

Dulce Periculum: Blinks.
Dulce Periculum: "What fun is that?"

Doc: “By People I mean Humans.”

Dulce Periculum: "True. Will be much more difficult getting a future audience for those moments when you really want one."

Doc: "Thus the true challenge.. " He let the implication lie there, that anyone could do it in front of a human.. but in front of a proper audience.. well that was harder.

Dulce Periculum: You seem like the type that likes to watch. There is an art to doing it right.

Doc: Doc inclined his head, "I like to watch.. a variety of things. After all Art should be appreciated."

Dulce Periculum: She did enjoy what she did and made no apologies for it. She never would either. No regrets either. Doc had a point though. It was not a flawless performance if you end up on three networks via live feed for the warm blooded masses to see. That is why she was hunted down only once for being messy about her particular indulgence. Micah and Vel were the ones that handed her a dark lesson of what the shadow realm was all about. That was years ago. “Indeed it should. I have a painting at home that captured a moment. It is priceless. I shall treasure it eternally."

Dulce Periculum: She goes quiet and leaves it at that. As far as she was concerned the topic was tied up nicely with her reflecting on the fact she needed to check on the masterpiece and its condition. She did enjoy a warm drink while taking in its crimson beauty. Picasso had his blue period. The artist responsible for the creation of the portrait had a crimson phase that showed no signs of ending.

Doc: "Good. We have an understanding. Another good session. We're making progress. As a reward, I am releasing you 52 minutes early."

Dulce Periculum: "You never had me to begin with. There is no releasing taking place. I issue my own rewards, Doc. Save your lollipops in the jar for those who need something to suck on to know progress is happening." She stood up, nodded and disappeared.

Doc: At least his plants survived this week.
