The engine purred as the black Corvette took the corner. Tiamat slowed the machine down as it slid into a nearby parking space. The raven haired woman pushed open her car door and stepped out into the early spring night. She straightened her simple red dress back over her frame. She looked up at the sign over the building’s door. ‘Lancaster’s’ the letters spelled out. She had been here once before and met the owner. She wasn’t entirely certain why she was setting foot into any place with a bar. Everywhere she went people were sending her drinks. She reached back into her car and pulled the small messenger bag from the passenger seat. The place had been fairly quiet when she was last here. Hopefully it would start out quiet so Tia could think.
She removed her purse from the messenger bag and returned it to the car. With the car locked, Tiamat headed into the bar. The music drifted through the place as she headed to a booth near the back. Once she had sat down she pulled a small mirror from her little black purse. She took a quick look at herself. She’d not been sleeping well with the nightmares she had been having. She had left those topics from the discussion she and Ivy had. The Russian was already worried about her mental state; there was no reason to compound it with bad dreams. She closed the mirror as the waitress came over with a drink.
“The young man at the table over there sends this over with his compliments,” she informed Tia as she set it on the glass of beer on a small napkin. Tiamat simply rolled her eyes. “Again,” she muttered, “thanks.”
“I take this happens a lot,” The other woman asked.
“More so recently. It’s like people look at me and think ‘She looks like she needs a drink, I’ll send her one.’ Back at my apartment complex I had three people send me drinks in a single day. Whatever happened to just talking to people?”
The waitress glanced away slightly before replying. “I wish I had that kind of an issue myself”
Tiamat tilted her head at the woman and raised an eyebrow. “You look good. Trust me; it makes me feel like everyone around me thinks I’m depressed or something. As though drinks would even help. By the way, I’d like a couple of sliders if it’s possible?”
“Oh, Of course,” came the reply and the young server bounded off seemingly happier than she was mere moments ago. Tia shook her head and sat back with her eyes closed and she tried to collect her thoughts.

Re: Once Upon a Bar (open)
Leah, in her infinite foolishness had left the Quarantine area, well she had to leave it to work anyway but her time off was spent collecting ears for her new 'family' if that was a word for it, the dysfunctional band of nutters she was quickly growing to care about. Then there was that mystery woman, the tanned flesh that nearly matched her own, the blackened hair that they shared, there was no doubt the city had another Latina female, one that Leah couldn't help but watch, the young killer was about as good at stalking as she was at keeping her cool.
She was thinking about this woman whilst she wandered aimlessly round the city, learning new places since this was to be her rather permanent home now. She'd have to learn every little inch of it if she wanted to survive. It seemed however that her feet had other ideas and kept shuffling along, stopping at the bar in question she never bothered to check the name, she just knew she couldn't drink. But by god she'd try. Heading straight to the bar she tapped her nails on the wood and looked round whilst waiting to be served.
There, in the corner all by herself was that woman with the hair that blended perfectly into the shadows. Leah smiled and her cheek piercings lit up under the room's illuminations. If she hadn't just rapped on the bar, she'd head over to say something but her attention was being pulled away by the staff.
"Excuse me Miss? What can I get you?"
"Si.. I'll take a Sangria and two Tequila shots. I can smoke here Si?"
"I'm afraid not Miss, there is a space outside for that though if you'd like."
Well that did it, this human was polite enough and was already in the process of making the drinks when Leah was mid-way to the woman she didn't know, but certainly liked the look of. Thankfully the bar staff noticed her wander off and simply brought the drinks over, setting them down on the table infront of Leah. To which she simply pushed one of the shots and the Sangria towards Tiamat with a smile.
"Hola, I've seen you before, but never got to say hello."
She smiled, leaning back in her chair as she reached into her pocket to pull the pack of cigarettes free. During this time Tiamat got a fairly good view of Leah's various tattoos and piercings that were on show for the woman was literally only wearing jeans and a tube top, clearly not too bothered about who saw what, or how much she did have on show as she leant forward, her ample cleavage bouncing over the table as she held out the small pack of smokes.
"Would you like?"

Re: Once Upon a Bar (open)
David was still dealing with the lost of his wife, Kira. He pretend to be all jokes and good times but he knew at any moment he will get the demand to give up his ownership of the apartment they shared... had shared. He knew she would want the claim on it and he would likely just give it to her.
Thinking about it all brought him to well here. David wasn't even sure how long he been walking or when he sat down hell he couldn't recall ordering the drink in his hand.
All he knew was at one moment voices hit him and he turned. He didn't know either of them or at least he didn't recognize their faces but a smoke? Hell he got up and without warning he leaned over and took one, "Don't mind if I do" yeah he was sure wasn't meant for him but it was pointed in his general location it was good enough for him.

Re: Once Upon a Bar (open)
Tiamat opened her eyes at the sound of another voice at her table. She raised an eyebrow as the woman placed a drink in front of her. Great, now what? she thought as she pushed her hair behind her ear. This new woman clearly wanted people to notice her body. From her tattoos, the piercings, and the outfit, the woman practically screamed "stare at me." Tia carefully picked up the glass and casually moved it next to the beer that had also been bought for her As she turned her hand, the engagement ring on her finger glittered under the yellow bar light.
She was about to respond to the offer of a cigarette, when new person showed up from seemingly nowhere and took one for himself. Tia shook her head before verbalizing her answer. "No thank you. It causes cancer. It's also bad for the complexion." She glanced from one person to the other before speaking again. "So, how may I help you?" As she pondered what their responses would be, her waitress came back with a small plate of sliders. "Here you go miss," the waitress said as she handed Tiamat her plate. Tia slowly took a bite from her mini hamburger silently and watched the other two who sat there.

David grinned slightly at Tiamat's comment about smoking. "Just about everything can give ya ******* cancer now can't it?" He lit the cigarette and blew out a cloud of smoke. "Name something fun that can't?" He seriously couldn't think of anything thay didn't either give or lead yo cancer besides as a vampire he was pretty damn sure he couldn't catch it. Or was that get it?
"My name's David." He said leaning over to put some of the ash out in the ashtray. "What are your ladies names? Or am I to guess? I do give some nice nicknames if you ask me."
