She grinned when she heard CC voice, inviting her to enter. Pushing the door open, she found her boss seemingly relaxing in a carefree posture but she wasn't fooled. She already had a feel for the tall redhead and had no doubt that the woman could be on her feet and swinging if she needed to be.
Alexis grabbed an empty chair and sat on it backwards, facing her new employer while resting her arms on the back of the chair as she picked her words carefully on how to answer CC.
"Well, I hope Ginger will agree with me that I think I did okay for my first day. It wasn't so bad, it was busy so the time flew by. My feet do hurt but I'm sure that they'll get used to my being on them more often. All in all, if my worst complaint is a pair of sore feet I think I got this."
She pursed her lips in thought for a minute before she went on. "Questions. Yeah, I have some. I'll more than likely have more after a good night's sleep. Right now what I am wondering about is my uniform. Ginger mentioned that I would be expected to help wash the costumes, which I don't have any problem with, but it got me thinking about what I'm supposed to be wearing. Do I leave my stuff here and they get washed or do I take the shorts home with me and wash them myself? I figure the pasties don't really get washed, do they? Maybe just rinsed out in cold water after being worn?"

She just nodded her head when Alexis asked if Ginger was happy with her. She'd seen enough herself to know the girl would be able to hold her own and make herself and the club some money. It was win win at this point as far as she was concerned. The question she was asked after that, made her grin. It was a well thought out and sensible question, unlike a number of questions she'd been asked in this same situation that just made her want to smack a *****.
"You're responsible for your own uniform, and any costumes you yourself buy for wearing on stage and in private. So you wash them when you think they need washed and keep them in good repair. However, the costumes I provide - those stay here in the club and are used for club business only. So we wash them and look after them in house."
She remembered the issues she'd had before she'd implemented that one, and couldn't help but grimace at the mess she'd found sometimes, as well as ruined costumes.
"I don't know if you've ever tried getting semen out of feathers - but it's not fun, or easy!"
She laughed and shook her head.
"So yeh, those ones we look after - and Ginger can help you and teach you how. Mmmm, anything else you need to know just now?"
She cocked her head to the side, waiting.

Alexis tried to hold back, she really did. She hated to show weakness in front of her new boss. CC seemed superhuman and Alexis got the feeling that nothing could slow the redhead down. But try as she would, she couldn't stop it. A huge yawn interrupted her new employer's instructions on the work clothes and more were soon to follow.
"I am so sorry, excuse me. believe me, it's not the company..." Alex said around yet another yawn. Dang when did she get so tired, it was like it was hitting her all at once. Her eyes blinked and she stared blankly at her boss when CC laughed. Had she missed something. Ohh... spermy feathers. Well that didn't sound like fun to have to wash. What was so funny about that.
CC's head was tilted to one side and Alexis had to resist the urge to tilt hers just the same. Her boss had just asked her another question. and was waiting for a reply. What was the question? Oh, right... if Alexis had anymore questions. She nodded at first but it was just in confirming to herself that she had guessed correctly and that was indeed what employer was waiting to know. But she didn't, at least not yet. So she followed up the nod with a quick shake of her head, and swallowed another yawn.
"No, not right now. I'm sure more will come up next time. Same time tomorrow, right? Is there anything else, CC? I'm kinda fading fast. I didn't expect to get so tired just being on my feet so long. I sure have a new respect for waitresses and bartenders, let me tell ya."

She smirked as the woman yawned and she nodded her head at the apology, chuckling at the nod and then the shake of Alexis' head.
"Nup. Nothing else for now. Go home, rest up, come back tomorrow. I think you'll do well here - if you work hard and save the lip for the ******* customers."

"After a couple of weeks of this, your stamina will increase. Once that happens - give me a shout. Then we can work on your toning and pole work skills. Get you performing after some lessons and thenyour money will increase. Sound good?"
