What do you think you're doing? (Lorelai/Silks staff)

Post by Cinnamon Cherrywhip »

CC was rushed off her damn feet and in an irritable mood. She'd not been 'known' last year over the Easter weekend, so there had just been the normal clientele in. This year however, the name of Silks was known throughout the town as one of the hot spots for adult entertainment. Not only was the alcohol good and varied, the girls nearly naked as they served the drinks, the girls on stage talented in oh so many ways - but there was a whole upstairs with 'extras', where you could get anything at all that your twisted little mind could come up with and imagine. It was also known, that the police were getting paid handsomly to look the other way to what was, basically, a brothel upstairs. So this year, all the men had done the family thing all day. They'd played with the kids. They'd mingled with the family. They'd been there and helped out all day and done their duty. So, now that the kids were in bed and there was no work tomorow..... where did they go? Silks.

Every single seat was taken and for the first time, there was an actual queue that went not just out the door as was the norm, but down the block! CC was running around like a headless chicken, trying to make calls and get more staff in to wait tables and work the security jobs upstairs, down and on the door. She was having to pay overtime and giving bonuses, just to get people to come in - and anyone who knew CC, knew that that didn't sit well with her at all!

CC stormed down the light up stairs, and made sure all the tables still had the little white and pink chocolate breasts, with a cream centre, in a bowl in the middle of the table - her version of eggs - and filled up those that needed it. The waitresses were all dressed with flowers in their hair, fluffy chick pasties and yellow shorts - finished off with the normal platform heels they always wore. The place looked good and the uplighters in the walls had been changed from their usual purple to yellows and greens to give an Easter feel to the place. It was the same on stage, chicks and rabbits, sexy little lambs and such were prancing about and mounting the poles in wonderful and acrobatic ways.

Greg and Bruce were on the door, she noted as she sat her *** at the bar and was presented with a glass of champagne from Ginger. It was a standing order for the barstaff. If she sat down, a glass was to be given to her immediately. Closing her eyes, she took a moment to herself and relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of the bubbles on her tongue and running down her throat. Things finally seemed to be coming together as she saw members of staff slipping through the crowd from the changing rooms and taking up their positions where needed. However, a ruckus at the door got her attention and as she slid from her stool with a sigh, necked the rest of the glass of champagne and then stormed over to see what in the **** was going on.

At 5' 4", she couldn't be seen as she stood behind the hulking mass of her bouncers. So she simply stood there and listened for a moment and discovered that the reason there was an issue, was that there was a very drunk stag do looking to get some 'tits, pussy and ***', and they weren't being allowed access. Her bouncers were more than capable of coping with it and diffusing the situation - or just kicking the crap out of them all there - but on a busy night like this, she couldn't be bothered with it. Besides, some of the guys in the queue weren't regulars, and she wanted to make them regulars - so this wasn't the impression she wanted to give!

She slipped around in between Greg and Gruce and smiled sweetly at the mass of men before her. Her hotpants, bra and stripper shoes had obviously made the impact they normally did, and she had them all staring at her lewdly. She felt the power go to her head as she enjoyed this moment, just as she did when she was on the stage or teasing a client until they were just on the edge and holding them there. It was such a rush, to be in control of someone else, and it was one of the things she loved about her job! Her hips swayed and moved languidly like a snake undulating forwards towards them, ready to strike. She was smiling and her arms were sliding by her sides in time with her steps so her fingers were tickling her thighs - and she knew a few of the men were wondering what it would be like if those were their own fingers running across her body. Her tongue ran out over her lips slowly as her hand lifted and slipped inside of her bra to pull out her business cards. Handing one out to each man in the party, she cleared her throat and zoned in on the stag with a 'secret' wink.

"Now gents. I'm sooo sorry that we're full this evening, on such an important evening for you...."

She reached out and caressed the stag's jawline, looking at him with such sympathy, all while exerting her influence over them all to pacify them.

"But you come back another night and show that card - and you will get in for free, get a bottle of champagne for free, and get a lapdance from the girl of your choice. All for free."

She looked from one to the next with a smile as she heard mumblings of approval coming from around her.

"So, I look forward to seeing you all again - and I hope you enjoy the rest of your night."

She put a finger under the stag's chin and drew him down to her height, so under her spell was he that he willingly obliged. Craning her neck upwards, her lips found his and pressed a gentle, sweet, tender kiss to his lips before releasing him.

"And you, have a wonderful marriage!"

She stood there, shaking hands and kissing the cheeks of everyone who wanted one from the group, until they'd all gone. Turning back to her club, she just shrugged at the smirks on the bouncers face and chuckled - just thinking to herself 'Men!' She looked down the queue and grinned, loving how the line of men and women looked against the black brick building with it's purple 'Silks' sign glowing discretely and tastefully. Patting the bouncers on the shoulders as she went by, she nodded to Feathers in the window taking the cash and then headed on back in through the bead curtain and to the club, ready for the next challenge.

It was strange to think this was her choice. Coming here. What had she been expecting exactly when she’d set herself upon this path? She’d learned to unlock her potential as a sorcerer and yet was determined to walk along a peaceful path. If that was still possible. She of course hoped it was. The path of peace wasn’t one she wanted to deviate from. Still. The idea of this new city. This calling. It was all so new. So new in fact that she hadn’t really prepared for any of it. She’d received her training, in as much that one could be trained for powers they didn’t yet possess, and yet she hadn’t thought to figure out the basics such as a place to live or how she was going to get a job. Growing up in the small knit community she had, she had no job references. She’d lived in a community where everyone looked after one another and pulled their own weight. They all chipped in with chores and there was no need for pay as everything was for the betterment of the community.

This new path and her own limited experiences left her to make a tough choice as to how she was going to survive in the city. Of course a job was preferable but considering she arrived in the place with only the change in her pocket, she had to decide how she was going to feed herself and pay for a hotel room. She’d been told about the colourful night life in the city and so was prepared for the dangers. All the more reason she knew she couldn’t bundle herself up and sleep on a park bench. She had to have a place to stay come sundown. And so this very honest, very innocent girl started down the dark path of picking pockets. Of course she picked her targets well. It was probably true to say that stealing from the rich was always a better idea anyway if you wished to actually steal anything of value, but for Lorelai it helped to ease her conscience as people with money wouldn’t miss the trinkets she took or the small amount of paper bills that they kept on their person. It was partly for this reason that she ended up outside of Silks. The clientele there surely wouldn’t miss the little that she took.

She knew she’d look a little out of place if she joined the queue and the bouncers looked like they more than earned their pay, their eyes ever vigilant. Would they care if she was earning on those waiting outside? Or would they only intervene if she attempted to take something from someone once inside? Not that the latter mattered, there was no way she'd be stepping foot inside the place. While she respected all walks of life, there was no need for her to associate herself with the seedier side of things if she didn’t have too. She wasn’t there to soak up and experience the different cultures, at least not the human ones, she was there to learn of paladins and blood thieves and of course, vampires.

She’d been stood across the street trying to look inconspicuous. To any glancing her way she looked innocent enough, her dirty blonde hair hung loose, flowing over her shoulders in smooth waves. Her outfit was quite simple as she wore a long floral dress that loosely hugged her feminine figure. The dress was primarily white, the flowery print adding the colours of Spring with different shades of green, pink, yellow, etc. Over this she wore a heavy woollen, brown jacket that was wrapped around her waist and tied with a matching belt. On her feet a pair of relatively plain moccasins. She was looking for a way to mingle with the crowd when a rather confident woman stepped out and seemed to distract a vast majority of those waiting to get inside.

Lorelai cast her eyes over the woman, marvelling at the confidence it took to wear that sort of outfit. If outfit was a word that one could actually use to describe what it was that this woman was wearing. She looked good of course, as did most women that usually chose to wear such things, but it wasn’t what she wore that really caught Lorelai’s attention it was the way in which she carried herself. There was something else about her too that made her stand out, her aura perhaps, her energy? Lorelai wasn’t sure, she’d never seen anyone with energies like this and having noted the tattoos she began to wonder if she was perhaps a paladin.

Forcing herself to ignore the female, since she was drawing the eyes of everyone else about her she slipped across the road. She walked away from the bouncers, making her way down the building before she “bumped” into someone for the first time. She had slender, nimble fingers and her actions already seemed rehearsed. Her touch was so light, that the man didn’t even notice that she’d fished into his pockets and removed his mobile. It was the cool blue eyes and the innocent smile she gave that really sold her acts of clumsiness, as there was something about her that just made her seem trustworthy. Despite her cool exterior, on the inside she was trembling like a leaf. Breaking the law wasn’t something that came easily to her and she felt sick every time she did it but she needed to pay for her room and so she did what she must, telling herself that he probably had insurance and that the item would be replaced in less than a week.

She’d moved a little further down the line before she “tripped” and practically landed on top of some guy that looked like he’d started early. He barely managed to stay on his feet as he himself was unstable, but with his senses so impaired there was little to no way she could get caught. At least that’s what she assumed. She lifted a roll of paper from his pockets, flashed him a smile and began apologising profusely for her clumsiness. She should have walked away there and then but the line was quite long and the people obviously ripe for the picking and so she pushed her luck and went for a third and final attempt on the crowd. This time joining the back of the queue and asking the gentleman in front of her for the time, while she reached into his pocket to see what she could retrieve.

A big hand gripped her wrist and she looked up alarmed at one of the bouncers. Her actions had obviously not gone unnoticed. Lorelai mentally kicked herself and vowed she wasn’t going to get caught again because she wasn’t going to stick around long enough to pick more than one person’s pocket at a time. But that was a moot point in this moment as she was being dragged towards the head of the line.

“Please. I’m sorry,” she whimpered as if the male were hurting her wrist.

The man’s touch was light but firm and he likely knew it and so she had no choice but to follow where he lead. She was almost certain he was going to walk her to a nearby alleyway and give her a stern talking too. It was that or hand her to his partner while they called the cops. Neither option fazed her much as words were just words and this would be her offense as far as the authorities were concerned. Panic soon set in however when neither of these things happened and he seemed to be dragging her inside.

“No. Please,” she whimpered again as she was pulled past the ticket booth, her cheeks flushed, her heart thundering in her chest.

She didn’t want to be exposed to this place and yet she couldn’t stop her eyes from roaming around the room. She tried to shuffle her feet, to pull away, to look away but her will was not her own and the male had no plans of stopping until she was wherever it was he wanted her to be, her feet moving her ever forward.

Once CC was back in the main area of the club, she'd wandered around and said hello to some of the regulars. It was amazing what some people would tell you at vulnerable moments, as well as the fact that some people actually came to pay to have someone to simply talk to. There were some nights when she didn't have to do anything physical in her room upstairs, and instead simply had to sit on the couch beside the client and listen to them talk. Now and again, she'd perhaps pat an arm or offer an embrace, but that was the extent of it. Honestly, those were her least favourite nights of the week. She wasn't your normal, touchy, feely woman full of emotions who needed love and hugs and all of that. She was a bad ***, allurist vampire who would smack you in the face sooner than kissing you. However, as an allurist - that wasn't always exactly how it worked out and she'd found herself in some interesting spots and feeling things she'd never felt before since being turned. So no, she would much rather be playing the part of the hooker, the girlfriend, the sub, the dom, the victim etc etc. because physicality - she understood.

So through the club she bounced from lap to lap, smiling and laughing and teasing as she went and always using her powers over the whole crowd to pacify them and keep them all as civil as possible. Alcohol, sex, men around other men - the testosterone level was constantly rising as a night went on and there was no way she was ever going to allow an incident to occur which meant honest cops would have to come in and see what was going on. It was on her list of things to do - to hire another vampire with the same power as she had, because she couldn't be here on the floor, constantly. If there were at least one other who could share the responsibility then it would make things a hell of a lot easier and take a load of stress off her shoulders. There was no way in hell she was going to let an incident happen like the one in Pru's Saloon where two vampiric dipshits had come in and shot the place up! Luckily, she'd been there when it had happened - and after removing a leg from each of them had played her part perfectly and kept the police from finding out what had 'actually' happened.

She reached the bar and took her drink that was ready and waiting - couldn't say Ginger wasn't good at what she did - and then pulled the other, older woman to the side.

"Jesus Ginger. What in the ACTUAL ****?"
"Right? I did warn ya. I've seen it happen other places. Men get let out to play and WHAM. You're full."
"Yeh yeh, whatever. I didn't listen to you, so have your gloat and that's the end of it *****!"

Ginger was certainly gloating, because she'd warned CC about what happened in the clubs when there was a bank holiday, and she simply hadn't listened. But then, that was CC's way. She alwaus thought she knew better and had to do it her way - then when it all went wrong, she admitted she'd been wrong. It was one of the reasons Ginger had hung around, because she knew she wasn't perfect. Well, that and the bonuses and the fact that CC trusted her and treated her well.... better than any club she'd ever worked in before. In fact, all the girls said that. Yes, CC had a ******* mean streak in her, and you knew you didn't cross her. Working in Silks made you CC's property and so long as you remembered that then everything was fine. It was the ones who thought they could do more, or pull a fast one who were the ones who truly saw the other side of their boss. Ginger wasn't even sure she knew the real CC, because she'd seen so many sides to her and so many characters being played out depending on the circumstance. The woman was, in all manner of ways, a total chameleon.

They chatted on for a bit about business and stock and bandied about a few ideas for new routines and skills they could introduce. Things were always being added and changed to keep the old clientele happy, while looking to appeal to those who weren't yet coming in. Recently, they'd added a gay and ladies night once a week, where all the performers were male. Wednesday nights had suddenly picked right up and were rivalling their Friday night takings. They'd always had male performers, but they were dotted here and there throughout the evening and generally weren't on the main stage. The moaning and complaining she'd had from Leo about that one still gave her bad dreams! But now, the man was happy and got to headline on the Wednesday whenever he wanted it.

CC gave a contented sigh as she looked out over her 'empire', but it was cut short as she spotted Bruce coming in with a female dangling from his hand. A quick look over the waif like girl made CC raise an eyebrow, because there was no fight this one was getting into and winning - not even against a gust of wind! - so why was she being dragged inside. Whatever it was, she wasn't doing it on the floor in front of everyone, so she nodded her head to the stairs and Bruce nodded, heading that way with the girl in tow. He was taking her to CC's office, and there was a smirk on his face as he looked down at her and spoke.

"Yer ******* in fer it now! The boss will be havin' some fun with you, and then you'll wish I'd smacked you one and given you to the police. She's very fuckin .... protective of her business is our boss!"

Meanwhile, CC pinched the bridge of her nose and tried to keep her temper in check as Ginger took a step or two back.

"Well, guess I'd better ******* go and see what's happened now! I swear, I could kill someone tonight!"

And Ginger didn't doubt it, as she cleared away CC's glass and watched the woman sashay through the club to climb the stairs the lit up with every step you took, after Bruce and the girl. She only hoped the girl would be smart and not piss CC off anymore than she had to. For her own sake!

CC walked into her office not too long after the pair, slammed the door behind her and then stood there, looking from one to the other.

"Right. So who's going to ******* tell me what happened then? Or do I have to beat it out of you?"

She began to struggle a little more as she was pulled in the direction of the stairs, her fear taking hold of her and spreading through every muscle of her body. The adrenaline kick might have been pleasant to some but to Lorelai it was new and unnerving. She wanted to run away but struggle as she might she was no match for the man that gripped her arm; her effort so insignificant that he likely didn’t even feel the difference. His words didn’t help any either and as she tried to plead her case, her words were lost to than ambient noise that was far louder than she could speak over.

The pleading look she gave to passers-by went either unnoticed or ignored and she couldn’t believe that any would just stand by and watch someone manhandle another in such a fashion. Tears were beginning to gather in her eyes and the nausea she’d began to feel outside the club seemed to be increasing in intensity. There was a pain deep down inside her and as the door of the office slammed closed, she jumped, her fear obvious to the two witnesses.

She couldn’t take it all in. What was this woman going to do to her. How could it be any worse than being reprimanded by the police? She’d been warned of the dangers of the city, but not the sins; at least not in any great detail. This place was built for sin but Lorelai’s mind couldn’t even begin to fathom what went on in the nearby rooms.

Beat it out of you! What? Why? Why would anyone be so quick to resort to violence? What does that resolve?

The thoughts churned through her mind and within moments of them being spoken, she was doubled over and vomiting up the rather modest meal she’d eaten several hours ago. She was on her knees, her hand still being held by the man that stood strong beside her. Lorelai couldn’t bring herself to look up at either of them and was wiping her mouth on the back of her sleeve, unable to answer.

“I’m sorry,” she squeaked out. “Please don’t hurt me. I won't do it again.”

Lorelai’s tone was little more than whisper, even if the notes she hit were higher than they should have been. Her nerves had gotten the best of her and she was beginning to wonder if she should have trained harder before setting out into the world. As it was she could make herself quicker, stronger even but that was the first and only talent she possessed at that moment in time. The instinct to use that power hadn’t even begun to grow inside of her and even if it had she’d of only of used it in self-defence; something that so far hadn’t been necessary.

Well that was all she ******* needed!

Bruce had let go of the girl's wrist as soon as she'd dropped to her knees beside the vomit, and CC was despairing and eyeing him as if she were blaming him for the mess. He simply held up his hands in a defensive pose and shook his head, while side stepping towards the door. CC lifted a foot and in a very.... balletic move... kicked him in the *** and sent him hard into the door.

"Get a ******* bucket, warm water, detergent and a cloth. I'm sure as **** not cleaning this up and you can be sure this isn't the last you've heard of it Bruce!"

The man scurried from the room - which was amusing to watch, what with his size and all - and CC walked over to her desk. She didn't head for the seat, but instead perched herself on the edge of it where her feet dangled before her bare legs crossed one over the other. Wiggling from one bum cheek to the other, she tried to work the red hotpants out of the crack of her *** and then shifted the red, sequinned bra top into a more comfortable position. As she sat there, she looked at the snivelling heap of flower covered woman on the floor and still didn't know why the **** she was here. Bruce had a lot to answer for, because why in the hell couldn't he have dealt with whatever she'd done himself. Why had he dragged her here?

Just as she thought that, Bruce reappeared with the items she'd asked for, dumped them in front of the girl and then looked to CC to see what he should do next. She just glared at him and then jerked her head towards the door and he all but ran out of there and left the two women alone. There was a new feeling creeping through CC, and it was making her feel.... awkward. She sat there in silence and just watched the girl as she tried to work out what it was she was feeling. After a few moments, the penny dropped and her eyes widened. She was feeling pity. She actually pitied the girl who might have still been crying, she wasn't sure. Well, that one was new! She continued to sit and watch, eyes travelling over the girl's body and noting that the lines and curves did indicate her first thought - waif. She on the other hand, was solid and muscular. Not like a female body building, but she was thin and so very toned and fit. This girl, looked breakable.

A sigh escaped CC's lips finally, after who knew how long the silence had rolled on for. She lifted one of her hands and ran it through her hair, stroking the length out and loosening it up a bit. One of the girls had put far too much hairspray on it earlier when she'd been trying something out, and now it was all brittle and crunchy. She slid from the desk and then headed for the racks of clothes that were at the other side of the room. From within the racks, she peeked out at the woman, looked her over and then looked back. The girl had got sick on her dress, and CC was trying to find something for her to wear. The issue was, the girl was pretty covered up - and the clothes CC had in the racks were for pole dancers and strippers and 'specialist' requests.

Finally she pulled out a couple of things she thought 'might' do and then walked over to the girl, offering them to her in a fairly awkward manner.

"So. Umm. You're a ******* mess. There's a bathroom through there. Go get changed - once you're finished there - clean yourself up and then get your ******* *** back here so we can see what happened and how you're going to make it right."

The two dresses she'd given a choice of was a; one shouldered, flower print, skin tight, mini dress or a; Flower print, wrap around, kimono. Both were pretty revealing, but it was the best that CC had to offer. It was also second nature to CC, so she never noticed or registered it, but the silence had allowed the noises from the other rooms to drift on through - where girls were seeing to clients in one way or another. Then, of course, the bathroom the girl was being sent into to clean herself up in, had a number of sex toys and PVC outfits that had been wiped down and left to air dry in it. That was CC's life, and she thought nothing of it in the slightest.

Re: What do you think you're doing? (Lorelai/Silks staff)

Post by Lorelai »

She heard more than she saw as the male was expelled from the room. Her clean sleeve was being used to wipe chunks of what looked like carrot from her hair and then she began pawing at the front of her jacket and dress as if trying to clean herself up. These were the frantic actions of an embarrassed woman and were only making the stains worse. Not that Lorelai could tell through her blurred vision. Silent tears were streaming down her hot cheeks and she was fighting the urge to throw up a little more, the smell of her own vomit having edging back and away from the contaminated area. Not that Lorelai knew it at the time but things could have been worse, the laminate flooring would easily wipe clean; something that would not have been the case if carpet or a rug had been laid down.

She was awaiting her fate. Hearing the female shuffling behind she was imagining the worse. She was perhaps searching for a weapon, something that she might strike her with. What is was she didn't know and while she wasn't afraid to try and protect herself she wasn't a fighter and the fact that she might be about to enter into some sort of physical altercation made her feel worse.

The male re-emerged with items to clean up the mess but Lorelai was frozen to the spot, her eyes closed as she tried to stop herself from crying. They'd been left alone and nothing had happened. Yet. Was this part of some cruel and unusual punishment? She didn't know. She didn't want to know. It was only after he left and the female moved away from her that she began to relax a little. Her once frozen form now shivering slightly, the adrenaline still pumping through her body and going to waste as she neither fought nor tried to flee the room.

A familiar sound drew her attention. The noise of clothing ruffling, hangers softly clattering together. The woman had (what to Lorelai was) a portable wardrobe in her office. It seemed out of place all things considered, but Lorelai was too preoccupied with what might become of her to really ponder that in that moment. Her blurred vision stopped her from seeing the individual articles that hung there, though she could make out a vast array of colours.

Lorelai paled in colour, even as he cheeks brightened into a stronger hue of red as the female handed her two dresses. Not that Lorelai would have called them that. They looked like tops to her and she wondered how covering the stains would make things any better. She was relieved that she was being treated so kindly but she was still nervous and so as she pushed herself to feet and wiped at her hair with the sleeves of her jacket. The sleeves had been pulled down over her hands and so she had to uncover them and push the sleeves up her arm before she could take what she'd been offered. From the floor the woman had seemed far more terrifying. Now as she took the items from her she could see that she was only a few inches taller than her (though she suspected she'd of been shorter if she wasn't wearing such high heeled shoes). She sniffed a couple of times and nodded before slowly and shakily making her way into the bathroom.

As she pushed the door closed, she pressed her back to it and slid to the floor. The tears hadn't ceased to fall, in fact she could now hear herself sobbing softly. The dresses she'd been given had been thrown to one side and she curled herself into a ball. Two nights. Two nights in this city and she was a mess. When her parents had told her that she was unprepared for the world she had laughed. Now those words rang true in her ears. A fact she was almost grateful for as it seemed to be drowning out the ambient noises of the rooms around her.

How did I get myself into this?

As the tears began to dry up, the sobbing eased, her heartbeat began to slow and her muscles no longer ached for action. She pushed herself up from the floor and made her way to the sink. It was only then that she noticed the paraphernalia that littered the place. She had no idea what any of it was and so had no idea that looking at such things would make a normal person blush. She was hesitant to actually pick up and look at anything, frightened that her captor might realise that something had been moved and so began to concentrate on the task at hand. She untied the jacket and shrugged it off, holding it in one hand as she wiped at her eyes with the back of the other. Now better able to see, she inspected the damage and her nose crinkled. If it was possible it now smelt worse that she see could see, though that was likely her imagination. She set about running the sleeves under cold water tap, rubbing them together vigorously. The wool fluffed up and swelled under the running stream and had to be wrung out several times before all the water had been expelled. She then held it back up, but it seemed almost futile to try and get the bulk of the mess out in such a place as this; it needed to go in the wash. She dropped it on the floor, away from the clean items she'd been given and began inspecting her hair. She parted her hair into two sections and then bent forward to run each one under the water, leaving the ends of her hair sodden but clean. Now she looked down at her dress. It wasn't that bad. At least it wasn't until she peaked over her breasts and down toward the knees and hem. An audible sigh escaped her lips as she began to slip herself out of it. It was then that she took a good look at the two items she'd been handed. The mini-dress was so slender she knew she'd have nowhere to hide in it and so that wasn't going to work from her. The second one was more acceptable as it had more material, even if she would likely be pulling it down every two seconds to make sure it still covered her buttocks.

She removed her spoils from her coat pocket, careful not to get her hands dirty again and then balled up the two items before going back into the office. She stood close to the door, her half wet hair now tucked behind each ear.

"I'll..." she began, "I'll clean this up."

She moved to the spot she'd defiled, dropped her clothes off to one side on the floor and then paused. She still held the second dress and had to return it. Her eyes darted around the room, taking in her surroundings a little more and then before handing the dress to the woman that was clearly in charge of the place, she moved to the desk. Lorelai placed her ill-gotten gains upon it; a roll of notes, a mobile and a ring she'd managed to slip from someone's hand a few blocks away.

"I..." she wouldn't look her in eye but she couldn't exactly look at her chest either and so she ended up looking off to one side over the female's shoulder. "I won't steal from outside your place again if you let me go. I promise."

The words sounded sincere but once more her voice trembled as she spoke. The tone not so high in pitch as before as she'd composed herself somewhat while in the other room, but it still contained a hint of fear and uncertainty as she pondered what the bouncer had told her once more.

Re: What do you think you're doing? (Lorelai/Silks staff)

As the girl got up silently and headed for the aforementioned bathroom, CC just watched her go and didn't understand how someone could be so..... weak. She didn't think she'd ever met anyone like that before, not in her line of work, with her past, and with the whole vampire thing. If there was anyone that pathetic, she usually bullied them into toughening up or washed her hands of them. This was the most amount of time she'd ever spent around someone like her, and she felt a little like a scientist observing a new species. Once the door shut, CC sat in her chair with a 'harrumpff' and had a think. The woman was obviously human - the food and lack of blood in the vomit said as much - so she started thinking about what a human might need just now. She figured, that after emptying out the contents of her stomach, food and drink would probably be high on the list of needs and wants.

She leant across the desk and picked up the phone, getting a hold of Ginger on the bar.

"Yo. Send a pleb out to the chippy round the corner for..... ummmm...... fish and chips I guess. Then bring them up with a glass for me and, I don't know..... No..... I don't know. Just a selection...... Yeh, that'll do."

Hanging up, she looked over as the girl came out of the toilet with her clothes all balled up. She fished around in a drawer and found a plastic bag and swapped it for the dress that didn't make the cut. She tossed the dress over the computer screen and then looked the girl over. She actually looked really good in the little kimono, and if she'd had a backbone to her - CC thought she could probably make quite a bit of money off her.

The girl refused to look her in the eye as CC kicked her feet up onto the desk and leant back in her chair. She couldn't help the smirk that crossed her face as the girl seemed to almost be.... what? Pleading for her life? There was that headrush and the feeling of power again as it tingled through her body with a pleasureable shiver. Items were put onto her desk that were fairly inconsequential in nature - some cash, a phone and a ring. She sat there and stared at it, blinking, before looking back to the girl.

"What in the actual ****? Is THAT what this was about?!"

Yeh, Bruce was in a whole shitload of trouble, landing her with this. He could have easily had a word, backhanded her cheek to get the message through, and they'd not have seen her again. Instead, she was now here in her office - that was covered in puke! She was going to kick his ***!

"Just get it cleared up, then we'll see what happens."

She grumbled and picked up a file, flicking through it for the next 15 mins until there was a knock at the door.

"HELLO?"

She called out, which was then answered with the door opening and one of the newer bar staff peeking round with a tray in her hands. CC beckoned her over and she tripped on in happily, setting the tray down and then escaping with a curled nose at the smell. There was a newspaper package filled with fish and chips for the girl, and then a selection of 8 different drinks - as well a a large glass of champagne for CC, which she swiftly scooped up and sipped before clearing her throat.

"So. Anyway. Figured you'd be hungry. After spewing your last meal all over my place! And there's some drinks there. Help yourself - and no, I've no idea what they all are. I just told Ginger to send a selection for you. Oh. Yeh. I'm CC by the way. Owner, performer, so on and so forth."

She looked at the girl, watching her carefully, curiously and a little suspiciously.

The other item of clothing was summarily discarded and the woman seemed almost amused by the whole situation. This threw Lorelai a bit, as she'd been lead to believe that she was going to be beaten or suffer a far more terrible fate. All in all, harsh language aside, the woman seemed almost civil. The moment she was reminded to clear up after herself she went to do so, awkwardly trying to position herself on the floor without revealing parts of her body that were meant to remain covered. She thought she'd got it cracked when she sat with her back to the door so that she faced the woman but was then startled when the knock at the door came and she had to shuffle to the side, franticly pulling at the back of the "dress" as she tried to maintain her modesty. As the person entered, she divided her hair in two and tied it in a knot and then knotted it again to keep it out of her way; something that was far more easily done now that a good portion of it was damp. Before the female could set down the tray she was carrying, Lorelai was hard at work trying to mop up her mess. The smell of it assaulted her nostrils and her face flushed red with colour once more as she couldn't believe what she'd done.

CC introduced herself and her voice had caused Lorelai to jump once more as she'd spoken. She didn't want to stop what she was doing until it was all cleared and if she were honest she was a little frightened to go and see what was on offer. She'd inconvenienced the woman no end and yet for some reason she was being nice to her. This was not what she'd been expecting as the bouncer had more or less dragged her upstairs. There was something about the way the woman talked though that kept Lorelai on edge. Perhaps it was the abruptness of her words or the colourful language she used. Whatever it was, it was unfamiliar to her.

"My name is Lorelai. Lorelai Lee."

It would have been smarter to have lied to the woman perhaps but it just wasn't her nature to tell untruths. You reap what you sow, was pretty much what she'd been taught and so if she expected people to be honest with her she had to be honest with them. It wasn't that she wasn't capable of lying, she just simply choose not too if she could help it.

"I... I'm sorry Miss CC but... I have to ask." She sat back on her heels, the cloth in hand having wiped the majority of her dinner from the floor already. "But...Are you always so nice to the people you catch stealing outside of your...business."

Re: What do you think you're doing? (Lorelai/Silks staff)

The girl, Lorelai, made no move towards the food and drink and CC wondered if she were still feeling unwell. Maybe a bought of food poisoning? Or maybe.... was she pregnant? Was that why she was stealing things, to feed herself and her unborn child? Maybe it was for drugs? Her eyes looked to the girls arms and feet, but couldn't see any evidence of track marks. She blinked as she stared, and wondered what in the **** was wrong with her? What was it about this girl that made her so curious about her, so intrigued? If she'd been human, she'd have presumed she was simply on the blob, with her hormones going every which way and making her softer and more feminine. However, since Pru had turned her, there'd been none of that - though her senses were more heightened and her emotions..... well, god only knew what they did sometimes. It seemed, that for one reason or another, her emotions had decided to take pity on the girl. Or had they? Was the girl maybe a vampire, an allurist, who'd cast a power on her? She narrowed her eyes and stared, but she didn't get any vampire vibes from the girl - which just left her totally confused.

She picked up her glass and continued to watch the girl, eyes still travelling over her form a if she were thinking of acquiring her for the club. Her mind was even totting up numbers and thinking how much she could charge for her. But then, her mind was also wondering how the girl would taste if she were to just walk over there, slide her hands over the silk kimono, draw her close, and then rip into her neck.... She could feel her mouth beginning to salivate at the images and thoughts in her head, so tried to control herself and sate them with the taste of champagne. Unfortunately, at that moment Lorelai decided to call her 'Miss CC' which made the mouthful of champagne backfire and head right on up her nose with a snort.

"Ahh ****!"

She groaned, grabbing a hanky to clean her face and try to get the bubbles to stop bubbling at the back of her nostrils. It was an odd, and unpleasant, feeling - and she needed it to stop as soon as possible. A couple of swift blows, followed by a number of wipings and swallowings and she was all sorted and shaking her head.

"Just CC. It's short for Cinnamon Cherrywhip - my stage name. Guess we'll call you Double L... or Hell for short."

She added on the end swiftly. Kennedy was already Double D to her, and calling someone else 'Double' anything just, didn't seem right. Even if the ***** was nothing to do with her anymore. Her face scrunched and looked a little pained at that thought, and that's when she knew there was something wrong with her. DD had picked her path and made it very clear she wanted **** all to do with her anymore, and CC was fine with that. Usually. So what in the hell was going on now. She was broken. She was sure of it. Something was seriously wrong with her and she was worried. So pulling out her phone, she texted Pru - hoping she'd know.

"Yo. Pru. I'm ******* broken. Call me and tell me how to fix myself. Ta. This is CC btw. Since you seem to have lost my number!"

Putting her phone down on the desk, she drew her feet down and leant over to the tray and unwrapped the fish and chips. The smell of them was driving her mad, and the champagne hadn't getten rid of the hunger pangs and thoughts of tasting the girl. So she hoped that the chips would. A couple were retrieved from the pack and then popped into her mouth before she leant back in her chair and smiled at Hell.... yup, she smiled. And it freaked her out internally!

"You gonna eat? Drink? You're ******* pale as a sheet and I don't want your body fainting and lying there...."

There was actual real concern in her voice there, and she didn't know if it was for more upset to her business and her evening, or if she actually was worried about the girl. Her eyes flicked to her phone, but there was no reply from Pru yet in the few seconds since she'd sent the message.

"Damn woman!"

She muttered unreasonably, before sliding the phone away and looking back at the girl with a shrug, finally answering her question firmly.

"No."

Re: What do you think you're doing? (Lorelai/Silks staff)

It seemed she was avoiding answering her question, as Lorelai continued to clean up her mess. She was trying to keep the long sleeves from getting wet and was pretty much constantly using her thumbs and forefingers now to push the sleeves up her arm. CC had been quick to correct her regarding her name and when she said she was going to call Lorelai Hell she crinkled her nose. She didn't get how that word applied to her; it had negative connotations and made her feel like she was a nuisance to the woman. Which technically, in that moment, she probably was. It was one hell of a first impression to be making, throwing up everywhere and breaking in to tears.

Lorelai looked up as she was addressed again in reference to the food but was reluctant to give up her task till it was complete. At some point in the course of her scrubbing she'd found time to bag her clothing and had tied the handles of the plastic bag together to lock in the rather unappealing scent from escaping. She was wiping up what was now an almost spotless floor and was pushing herself up from it when CC cursed again. She froze, thinking the statement was aimed at her, even though it was barely audible from where she now stood. Her eyes moved to CC for a moment and having finally gotten an answer, stooped to pick up the bucket and cloth and headed for the bathroom. This time she left the door open as she lifted the seat to slosh the dirtied water down the bowl before laying it back down. She then rinsed the cloth out in the basin before throwing it into the empty bucket and began sanitising her hands under the cold faucet for a second time that night.

Moving back into the room, she approached the desk with caution, pulling at the hem of the dress she was wearing. She could walk tall when she was in her normal clothing and in a comfortable setting but in this room, in this outfit, she was trying to make herself smaller than her natural height. Her movements were slow and deliberate and the answer to her question was still rolling around her brain.

Why is she being so nice then? Does she want something from me? What do I have to offer? I've already placed pretty much everything I own on the table.

If she'd grown up in the city and familiar with the usual patterns of behaviour in such places she might have stopped to consider that she was being groomed from something. The bouncer had mentioned CC doing something worse and forcing her into a life of prostitution was definitely that. After all, she was already dressed for the part was she not? She didn't even stop to consider that the drinks in front of her might be spiked with something as she neared the tray and took a hold of the most innocuous looking glass.

Almost all the contents of the glasses bubbled and fizzed to different degrees. All of them contained ice and a few contained wedges of lemon or lime. Her hand hovered over one, and then another and in the end she choose the one that looked like orange juice. She sipped at contents and her nose crinkled once more. The orange juice tasted funny and so she sniffed at it, there was an aroma that was out of place. She'd never had peach schnapps before so she had no idea that that was what was mixed in with it. Not wanting to seem impolite she took another small sip of the liquid, holding it in her mouth for a moment before swallowing it hard.

"Thank you," she said, placing the glass back on the tray as she eyed the food.

Her stomach was feeling queasy and her mouth still had the unpleasant taste of vomit in the back of her throat. She'd been concentrating so hard on cleaning her appearance up that she'd forgot to swill her mouth out with water. Another large gulp of the tainted orange juice might help but she wasn't sure she could swallow it in any large quantity. Hesitantly she plucked one of the chips from the wrapper and put it in her mouth. Once she'd eaten it, she bought her glass back to her lips and took another small sip; her nose crinkling again.

"Can I ask you a question?" she asked, not waiting to be given any sort of reply before continuing. "And please feel free to ignore it if you do not wish to reply. But...," Her voice was steadier now but still soft. "Why are you being so kind to me?"

She'd wanted to ask what she usually did to the thieves she caught operating on or about her premises, but thought better of it in case it gave the woman any ideas. Having said more than enough for the time being (at least by her own standards), she fell silent, her eyes on the food but her hands clasped in front of her.
